It's a Monday afternoon and we have 1 teller for this enormous line. I remember when this branch used to care about its customers. They had a coffee machine, had bottled water and a separate line for merchants. Now all that is gone and so is the personnel touch that made you feel welcome. Very disappointing wells. I waited…read more40 minutes and no employee even acknowledged me waiting or asked they will be with me soon. I got up and asked one of the employees if there was anyone else helping. He said not at the moment and said he is booked all day. Which doesn't make sense to have a sign in sheet if no one will be attending walk in's. I understand they get busy but customer service goes a long way. I had 2 employees walk back and forth and not even bother to look at us or notify us on how long was the wait. Also the way the employer told us he was busy is not a proper way to treat a customer. He seemed bothered because we asked and didn't even offer to get someone to assist us. There was a number of issues I have encountered but I will try my best to list them: 1) came here for a debit card replacement FYI they do not do temporary debit cards!!! I was told this after the fact.... 2) They reported my card "lost" even though I'm showing them the damaged I need to be replaced card IN PERSON!!! (Is there not option for damaged cards.....) 3) the manager and banker kept insisting I was there to open a new account and I had to several times tell them I only wanted a replacement card. Finally on the last time I had to curse and say "I am not fucking here for a new account, I only want a fucking new debit card to replace my damaged one....I DO NOT WANT TO OPEN A NEW ACCOUNT!!!" 4) after finally ordering a new debit card and told they do not offer temporary cards anymore they insisted I can just add my old one they reported as "lost" to my Apple wallet but of course that didn't work because use the old card "is reported as fucking lost!!!" Finally after this branch dropped the ball and left me with no devise card for the next two weeks I have made the decision to move to Chase once this fiasco is sorted out!! Note: if anyone is considering the same thing Chase is offering an incentive that if you move your direct deposit info with them you will get $300 free. Looking forward to moving to chase end of the month once this card gets here and I will never bank with bofa ever again! now I don't have a debit card for 7-10 days. Ontop of that the manager that was helping kept insisting I wanted to open a new account....several times I had to correct the manager I did "not want new account created, I want a new debit card only". I was shocked to hear such language used when conducting business. Parents need to do a better job raising their children to be better members of society.
