I recently applied for an auto loan through New Vision Credit Union, and while the process started smoothly with a quick pre-approval letter, I later discovered the paperwork never mentioned any exclusion of commercial vehicles. When I raised this with the representative, she apologized and said she'd speak to another team member, but she also told me Friday was her last day, so nothing could be done. I asked for other options, but I never received any further help, and I was left completely out in the cold. i purchase my Solar Edge solar system through this company and six months ago my system stopped working and I call Nu Vision to assist me in getting it repaired. It's been six months and my system is still down and i've not heard from Nu Vision at all. My Solar Edge Inverter has been down six months and this company refuses to call me or honor their warranty. They have a zero customer service policy meaning it is completely nonexistent. If your system comes with this inverter i suggest you cancel your contract. read more

When I think of NuVision Credit Union, I think of Carlos Lemus! His personable down to earth approach, along with helpful professionalism, makes Carlos my favorite banker. If it weren't for Carlos I wouldn't be banking with NuVision. Their limited locations within the Inland Empire can make banking difficult, but not when Carlos is involved. He literally goes out his way to make sure all customers are satisfied via in person or over the phone! For example, I've recently been dealing with a hardship and needed to pull from my retirement savings plan. Along with NuVision I also bank with Chase. I setup the wire to be received by Chase, because I have no online access with NuVision due to fraud. Unfortunately Chase rejected the wire, stating the $25,000 wire was fraudulent. I contacted Carlos, and told him I'm going to reroute the funds from T-Rowe Price to NuVision, can you please make sure you guys accept the wire because it's not fraudulent. He said, "no problem, I'll let you know when the funds arrive." He did just that! Now that's what I call customer service! Firstly stay away from this Credit Union, They have been fleecing me since they bought SafeAmerica, My LTD check arrives on the 28th of each month but Nuvision will not deposit it until the end of Business so every charge and bill that comes in before they decide to show in your account they Fine you 30 bucks for each on, I am so far upside down with them right now. Now the latest is I put in for a $2000 loan from them for 2 reasons the first was because there has been a death in my family and I need to get to Phoenix and the other was to bring my account out of the negative $1200 that it is always at now because of when they deposit my check. They Denied me the loan which ok my account looks crappy because of their assistance put me in the the crappy range. I even said I would use my 2011 yukon with 85k miles on it and they tell me no it has to be a 2016 or newer car with less then 100k miles on it, My Yukon is worth more money then what I was asking on the loan. There was a death in my family and these bastards show no compassion what so ever. Predatory Unlawful Practices! Nuvision merged with my former (wonderful) FCU. All of a sudden, money was not where it should have been. Long processing times cause money to be unavailable and unlawful NSF fees plunged my account into negative balance. Turns out that's business as usual for Nuvision. To see their customer complaints Check the Better Business Bureau. The bank's policies on overdraft and NSF charges violate the laws regarding predatory fees. For instance the law says a bank can only charge one fee per month, Nuvision policy states they charge up to five NSF fees per month. According to the Federal Reserve Board and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), certain regulations govern an overdraft fee, namely: 1) Banks are prohibited from charging overdraft/NSF fees unless a consumer consents to the bank's overdraft protection service. 2) If consumers choose not to have overdraft protection, no bank charges or excessive charges may be applied to their accounts. 3) No response from a consumer regarding their consent for overdraft protection does not give the bank permission to apply overdraft fees to their account. 4) It is unlawful to charge more than one overdraft/NSF fee per month, no more 6 per year. Also, It is unlawful for a bank to charge a fee if a purchase was made when the account showed a positive balance. When contacted Nuvision customer service, about their violation of these laws, their smug and cheary agent bombarded me with management speak such as "I'm sure that is your opinion, mam", "I can send you our policy, mam" and "will that be all, mam?". Well, yes....that will be all. I'm closing my account. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau oversees banks, lenders, and debt collection companies. I've had my NuVision account over 15 years & I'm still doing my banking with them. The service is always impeccably great. Whether you need financing or have a loan inquiry; they totally handle it! Refinancing an existing loan, well if you bank with them you can receive even lower than market rate interest. We've purchased 2 cars with them already & saved ourselves easily 3-5 % on the overall loan. Their goal is to accommodate their customers' needs. And since they're a credit union, it's also an advantage for auto, home, personal or business loans. I bank with them bc they really go out of their way to assist your every banking need! This credit union is unable to complete the simplist tasks. I have been a member of this credit union for many years and it has been sold and resold a number of times. This time, it's horrible and anyone looking to join is not going/ to have a good experience. Within the last year and a half, they lost about 3 months of my banking information which includes payments to the IRS, mortgage payments etc. I spent hours online looking for a payment I knew was made I finally called them and after an hour and a half, they came back to tell me that they lost my data during some technical migration to a new platform. I have no data for that period and they never even offered to fix it. I have to call and explain and go through extra steps to access the information. They have to call the website department and each time it's 45-60 minutes. I have called in to update my phone number and now it's not working. I don't get any alerts, notifications, and everything is correct in their system. Another hour..... You can't use Venmo at this bank because when you download the app and get to the section where you enter your bank account info, Venmo asks you to contact your bank. Another hour... then they tell me that I am unable to set up Venmo with them because my phone isn't in the name that matches my account (it's in my husbands). So you mean to tell me, EVERY Venmo customer has to have their phone in the name that matches the account. Didn't make sense. We spent an hour on teh phone going through connecting Venmo to Nuvision but it didn't work. Get this, but I can send money from Nuvision using Venmo... just can't receive. I ended up easily connecting Venmo using another bank account. Took seconds... I've called and asked them if they could block transactions that were coming into my account. I subscribed to a service and then canceled and they are still billing me even though I have emails from the service verifying they canceled the transactions. The rep told me they could not stop the transactions from coming in and I'd have to close my account or change my card number. What?!? I also have a credit card with them and when I log into MY account to go make a payment, someone elses credit card is there!!! I almost paid someone elses credit card through my account! Spent another hour trying to fix that, it was 4 months ago, it's still not fixed. I can go on and on but don't feel like this much typing. I hope you get it. However, recently I've had to go in a couple times to this branch (since it the closest) and was helped by Roberto Anaya. I had to get some wire transfers completed as I was closing escrow for my new home and Roberto was so helpful and efficient. Considering that purchasing a home stressful and tedious, at least he made that part seamless. I went in a third time to open up another account and again, Roberto was so helpful and went above and beyond to ensure that my account was coded correctly. So when I was asked to fill out the transaction form I didn't even have my basic information with me. Luckily for me Lorraine Diaz was helping out here at the Monterrey park Location. Very sorry to post this review, but felt obligated to. I have been with this Bank for over 10 years honestly disappointed with them. The banking services are great all the credit union perks; however, clerical errors have been unbelievable ranging from: -crossing my debit card to my daughter's personal checking account -adding & failing to remove my ex from my individual accounts -failing to issue a debit card before it's expiration date -my permanent address was updated to an unknown city without any notification or confirmation from me. I am honestly upset because I called and walked into this branch multiple times to request these corrections to no avail. Simply unacceptable. read more

Nuvision has swallowed up the credit union I was originally with. I joined because I dislike bank structures and the nickle-and-dime fees. Well, Nuvision now charges nickle-and-dime fees despite the several loans and accounts I have with them. Too bad they do not have the same philosophy as my previous credit union. There are much better credit unions out there. They get 2 stars instead of 1 because the people are nice but I would rather have cold people and save my nickles and dimes. read more

I have a account with Nu vision for years recently I tried getting money out at a atm machine and was declined saying invalid pin number trying again to the same response then took other option because I needed the money come to find out I was charged by the atm 100$ called Nu vision asking why I was declined and they said after so long if you do not use your pin# you have to re set your Pin# I never heard of that and when your in need of money you choose other option not knowing your going to be charged .I CALLED NU VISION TO ASK WHY THE CUSTOMER IS NOT NOTIFIED THAT THIS CAN HAPPEN IF YOU DO NOT USE YOUR PIN# AFTER SO LONG AND SHE SAID IT DOES SAY IT SO I ASKED ARE YOU SURE SHE SAID SHE WILL CHECK AND SHE CAME BACK ON LINE AND SAID IT IS NOT ENCLOSED SO I SAID I SHOULD BE REIMBURSED RIGHT?
