We also went cuz I was in the area anyhow celebrating my Birthday ! .. it's on the tail end of the street but a street where cars can park or zoom up and down the road. The outside has little lit peppermint lights almost like a Hansel and Gretal's house!!, me and my friend walked in it was very colorful , it was a bit packed but the ppl waiting or getting stuff was so nice! And we were greeted immediately!! Brianna was sooo helpful and patient with me I'm so indecisive and it was so many ways to have and get a ice cream made! I was floored!! I've never seen or heard of soo many flavors/mix-ins/ways they can serve you ice cream I mean this place has my beloved Coldstone Beat!!. But my Homegirl got butter pecan with wet nuts I got rum raisin with outrageous Oreo and chocolate!. Lemme tell you about the hold quality because honeyyy it was ravens traffic and it was gonna take an hour to get home!! That damn ice cream was STILL frozen solid!! No melting of any kind even tipped over in a cup!.. the ice cream was fresh and you can tell !! The flavors you can taste every one I'd most definitely return esp summer!! They have so many different options: from soft-serve ice cream to homemade ice cream, to doggie treats, and more! If I lived closer, I would be here all the time!!! We made the trek to Bmore Licks from Baba's on a hot summer's day. Y'all -- totally worth it. I'm someone who can eat my weight in ice cream any day, and I've loved living in Baltimore and experiencing all the unique flavors. I brought my party of 9 here and everyone was able to get generous helpings of ice cream. I stuck with my faves, coffee oreo and cookie monster, but many in my family branched out and got soft serve or other flavors. I'd say there were no complaints, because all I could hear was the scraping of spoons on bowls. We ordered from the outside window since the inside was PACKED with people trying to escape the heat (heads up for immunocompromised folks). I understand the staff were busy, but to hear them complaining felt uncomfortable. Also, the music they were playing seemed a bit inappropriate for the largely kid audience. This place usually has a long line and long waits but you would expect them to have a handle on orders... They lost an order for a lady a few places in front of me and then lost mine as well. I waited 20 mins before asking for an update. The cashier who took my order didn't remember me and didn't seem to believe me, he shook his head and took another 10 mins to put together my ice cream (still gave me the wrong ice cream). I left and walked away and then realized they gave me a broken cone and wrapped it in a napkin to cover it up. Pretty funny experience, I'm sure they tried their best but it was laughable how many things went wrong. I'll be avoiding Bmore licks as something always goes wrong here. read more

Cute little spot on the corner with vegan options, which is why we went. We had a frustrating experience with the cashier when we asked if we could order a double scoop and have one of the scoops in a cup and one in a cone. She insisted on charging us double (for 2 singles), when all we needed was a double ice cream cone with an extra cup. We were too tired to argue, but then someone behind her stepped in and said they can do it. So they put both scoops in a cup, and i had to scoop it (with a plastic spoon) into a cone myself. We got hard ice cream but it melted fast. It all ended up being a hot mess and a lot of ice cream was wasted. Great variety, but the quality was mediocre.
