Love love love Tia's Italian ice! Every flavor taste exactly how it's described. I recently enjoyed a gelati, vanilla custard with the charm city Italian ice. The combo was perfection and I devoured it! Service was very friendly and fast. It's a cute little shop that feels very community oriented and cozy. Perfect place for a sweet treat.

What's not to love about Tia's? The service is always great, the prices make sense, and the variety of menu items allows everyone to find something that they would enjoy. Most importantly, the Italian ice is delicious! My go to is the 4th of July ice which is like eating a bomb pop. There is always a line and that should tell you that they are a pretty popular place and definitely worth the hype. I love this Black-owned business and will definitely keep visiting and supporting throughout the summer.

10 out of 10. I love this place and I'm so happy they're finally open for this season. Being a girl from Philly this is the closest I can get from a water ice without going back to Philly. I love the flavors of the water ice. I love this stuff and the pizza pretzel was so delicious.

On a rough day, nothing can soothe you like a sweet treat! As someone who grew up close to Philly... I LOVE Italian Ice or as we say waddahice! My love said: rough day? Let's go try Tia's and that we did. Great and friendly service. There were so many options, but I'm a firm believer that you have to check on the classics before anything else. These did not disappoint as we roamed the neighborhood with red mouths and big smiles. So excited to go back and try more flavors.

Lovely experience. Omg how do they have Jamaican meat patty's and Italian ice? One of the best combos. Both were amazing. The italian ice was very flavorful and did not melt too fast in this 100 degree weather. The Jamaican meat patty had the perfect consistency. I'm definitely coming back. This place is in the perfect spot. They are very friendly and the service was excellent. The decor was simple. There is a little bench in there if you would like to have a seat. And a bit more seating in the window. I'm always coming back here.

We have been enjoying a weekly treat at Tia's for a few months. The owners are great and are always friendly. Even when the line is long, it moves fast. I always get a gelati with mango, peach and tangerine Italian ice. It reminds me of an orange creamsicle. My partner mixes different flavors every week and I always taste his concoction. I've enjoyed every flavor except for pistachio and coconut. It's Hampden so parking is always interesting. We have never had to park extremely far but we usually go during the week.

Absolutely delicious! My daughter and I stopped by for a yummy treat on one of the hottest days of the summer and Tia's didn't disappoint. We will definitely return

The best Italian ice I've ever had! It was delicious! I had a blue raspberry ice with vanilla soft serve. They also serve pretzels and Jamaican beef Pattie's. The place is black owned and the customer service was amazing I can't wait to visit again. Rita's who?? Lol

LOVE IT!! I was thrilled to try Tia's after seeing them listed as a black-owned business on the Ave in Hampden. We stopped in one evening and the hardest thing was deciding what to get - Italian ice, soft serve, hard / scooped, banana boats.... everything looked amazing. We settled on a gelato (strawberry lemonade + vanilla softserve) and a scoop of strawberry icecream. We were fans of both! The smallest size was still plenty (they don't skimp!) and the prices were much better than going up to Ritas at the Rotunda! On top of all the options, it being tasty, and being locally owned --- they were wonderfully welcoming! The staff was super friendly and helpful with our questions. Love this place!

What a great little find along the streets of Hampden. This is exactly what we were craving. On a nice summer day, Tia's will absolutely hit the spot! These Italian ices are hand scooped and I felt like the ratio of flavors were perfect. We both ordered mediums and the amount that they give you is phenomenal! I could barely finish my entire gelato. Their combinations are pretty unique. I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about the pistachio flavor but it did not disappoint at all. The gelato had a great consistency to it and was not overly sweet. It helped to balance out the tartness in the ice. Tia's doesn't just sell Italian ice, they also have food options as well. The perfect kind that will fit in your hands as you walk the streets exploring. I did not get the staffs name but they were extremely kind and you could see how happy they were to share this experience. Even with masks on, you could see the smile in their eyes. Will for sure be back. Support local!

Awesome little dessert place in Hamden. Line was out the door but moved quickly. Delicious Italian ice and soft serve, among other items.

So sweet. The food was divine. Truly. The egg sandwich was so good. The croissant was perfectly crunchy buttery and although seemed like too much for me, it was perfect. The eggs were perfectly cooked. The perfect temperature. The cheese was very good, creamy, naturally flavorful not overly so. I guess I just can't praise this place enough. I stayed a while so need up getting a second drink, the Sakura matcha latte which was very tasty too - all round the right amount of matcha-y! Lol! I also ordered the blueberry eclair - not too sweet. Perfect size. Perfect ratio. Not to mention, beautiful. Just perfect. Love this place! Will go back every time I'm in town. Not crazy about the parking situation in the area but whatever, that's the way it is round there and luckily I found a spot easily :) Check this place out. It's truly lovely.

The desserts, although beautiful, were on the pricier side. I tried the berry lychee cake and it was delicious! The iced coffee was yummy too. The crab dip bagel is filled with cream inside and topped with crab and corn on top, the bread was very soft and pillowly. The bread on the sandwich was perfectly brown and toasted topped with the crab egg filling and sprinkle of old bay. Hands down, the best almond croissant in town. Perfectly flaky with a generous almond filling that tastes rich and authentic. I also tried their Brazilian drink and added matcha to it, and it was incredibly refreshing. Truth be told, I wasn't expecting it to be that good! I ordered the veggie sandwiches too-fresh, delicious, and very filling. I can't wait to come back. The only thing I missed was a place to sit and really savor it. The outdoor seating is limited, and the glass canopy doesn't do much to keep the heat away. So I ended up enjoying my breakfast on the park bench next door... and honestly, it wasn't a bad spot at all. One tip: they're a small-batch bakery with a set menu available during specific hours, so check their timings before you go.
