I just loved spending time at the BNE cafe! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, the staff is always friendly and welcoming. Their coffee, tea, fresh fruit selection is amazing and their sandwiches are delicious. Dr's, Nurses, and people visiting seemed to also enjoy this new caf It's definitely the perfect spot.

The benches are quite uncomfortable, but the padded chairs are great and cushy. The drinks were a hit/miss. The coffee was actually quite good and my Galactic Cold Brew kept me energized. I especially liked the cold foam on top. My bf got the Strawberry Dragonfruit Citrus Tea, which was quite disappointing. It tasted very watered down and lacked flavor, which is a bit ridiculous because saw them making it with Simply Lemonade :/. That's usually fine but...what am I paying close to $6 for if there was no flavor? :/ I'm also quite annoyed with the fact that there's no power outlets inside. It's set up as a working cafe (with large tables and an elongated large coworking area right in the middle), so...what are folks supposed to do when their devices die? It kinda feels like false advertising lol. Otherwise, service was great. I would come back for the coffee but probably not stay long. Please install some outlets, I beg you

Lets talk about the vibes first...amazing decor and vibes, decor and walls and atmosphere is very cool and unique I truly love it so much. The staff is very nice, offering suggestions on drinks with big smiles and welcoming energy. Now the drinks and food: the drink I got last time was an iced mocha (no picture but I remember it was very good). This time I went with my mom and we both got the "Moon" drink.. a Chai/Matcha which was such a good drink, I want like a 40oz of it to take with me home for the week. I also ordered the pesto turkey sandwhich to share and I can not express how good this was. Perfectly crispy, juicy and fresh. Took the first bite and literally gasped because not only was the bread toasted to perfection but the veggies and turkey were so flavorful. The veggies and pesto and turkey were also layered in a way that made every bite delectable and that to me is art. Loved it, want more of it and I WILL be back to try more drinks and sandwhiches.

Maybe I didn't order the right thing, or maybe it was just an off day, but I probably wouldn't order that drink again. The picture looks promising but just not it. I actually brought one home for my husband to try as well, and without me even saying anything, he wasn't a fan of it either. I also have to say that when I first walked into the location, I didn't really feel a warm or welcoming vibe. I was hoping to have a better first experience, but unfortunately, between the drink and the overall experience, I don't think I'll be back. Maybe I just need to try something different, but for now, this one just wasn't a hit for us.

This bakery is very similar to Paris Baguette/ 85 degree. All the pastries are behind the glass case and all self serve. I was most excited to try the cloud donuts! I ordered the strawberry, chocolate and ube flavors. It was delicious! The donut is soft and the fillings tasted rich and not overwhelming sweet! The cornets shells were crispy but alittle disappointed that there wasn't a whole lot of filling inside. The chocolate pistachio was also delicious! I would come back to fulfilly seeet tooth craving when in town again! The shop is clean and staff friendly.

Little pricey but it's worth it. Cute designs and not overly sweet. Cloud donuts were nice and soft but no wow factor on the first bite. Butter roll was delicious; crispy and flaky crust with buttery taste and texture inside. We tried their strawberry smoothie; missing the strawberry flavor. Glad we had some strawberry at home and had to salvage the drink. Aesthetics is giving and inviting. Staff were all nice. Parking is hit or miss depending on the time since it's on the same plaza as Seafood City and multiple Asian restaurants.

I was also surprised to see that they expanded their space that offers seating and a coffee shop! They use beans sourced from Philippines for their coffee. Good move on their end if you want to enjoy your filipino pastry with coffee or tea! My go to items rotate between the Spanish bread, pizza pandesal, and regular pandesal fresh from the oven. For my most recent visit, I was surprised to see they had the ilocos empanada available. Like i mentioned, its been a minute since coming here so not sure how long they've been making them. The last time i had an ilocos empanada was when visited Vigan Philippines in 2017! I ordered on in addition to a chicken empanada and pizza pandesal. I decided to check out the coffee shop and what made me backtrack was that they make calamansi tea (with either black or jasmine tea). Decided to order that and eat the ilocos empanada at the cafe while it was still warm. The ilocos empanada: big portion ($6). You can order with or without cheese ($7 with cheese). I opted without cheese because this is how i remember eating it. It also comes with a vinegar sauce. It was delicious. Perfect crunch. Perfect ratios of papaya, mung beans, meat and egg. Calamansi black tea - yummy as well. Not too sweet. Tasted good with the empanada. I will definitely be coming back for the ilocos empanada. They make them daily and often replenished throughout the day (according to the employee). Parking here may be tight if coming durinf busy hours since it shares the spaces with titas kitchenette (also delicious) and island pacific market as well as other small businesses in the strip mall.
