She gave me advice that I didn't even know I needed. She showed me how to walk in a petticoat. She showed me how to hold my bouquet. She had me practice. She talked to me about things to consider for the actual wedding day -- the little details that you don't think about until you're standing there in your dress, with everyone watching, realizing, "Oh... I actually have to WALK in this thing." And I cannot explain how reassuring that was. I walked in looking for a tailor. I walked out feeling like I had someone in my corner who genuinely wanted me to have the best wedding-day experience possible. And THAT is what makes Veronica different. Her pricing is fair, her attention to detail is incredible, and her creative eye is truly something special. She doesn't just do the job in front of her -- she thinks about the person wearing it and what they're trying to achieve. And she was also incredibly accommodating with my timeline. I dropped my dress off the first week of July because I was flying out, and she had everything ready for me in 10 DAYSSSSS. I thought I was coming in for a consultation, and I liked the fabrics and patterns we came up with, but he was disappointed that I was not ready to throw down $4,000 for the custom suit that day. (He convinced me that anything cheaper in his shop wasn't worth my time.) I can see why he likes to close the deal the day of. The more I thought about it, the less comfortable I felt throwing down than much for this suit... I had a few other reasons, too. Anyway, I sent a message to the store the next day, politely explaining why that I appreciated Jerry's time, but the shop wasn't for me. Jerry ended up calling me, and I wish I hadn't answered. He started trying to get me to get his cheaper stuff that had already talked me out of. He was pushy, dismissive of my reasons and all around unpleasant. I think they have some off the-rack suits available, too, and I believe they offer tailoring, but I am no longer interested. He'll probably respond to this and be dismissive again, but those are my two cents. He has a nice assistant. I won't pretend it's bad quality. Still three stars.

I had also placed an order for a signature book and I had to exchange the item for something else. The signature book looked cheap and ugly. I definitely do not recommend this place to anyone. Stressful experience and now I have to find 6 dresses for the damas in less than 7 weeks. I'm disappointed and my daughter was really upset too.
