How was your dinner? It was OK. He says with a slight shrug. That is really the best way to describe the experience we had. OK....With a slight rug. Based on the location and the signage/logo, I was expecting a much more hip, modern, trendy feel. In reality, I thought the restaurant was really dark and generic. It was also very cold as the curtains separating the front door from the interior of the restaurant never seem to remain closed. The menu is also OK, with a slight shrug. There really isn't anything memorable about the menu or the food, once you get it. I add a pizza which was OK. There was nothing really great about it nor was there anything particularly bad about it. This is a restaurant which I can't particularly say we will ever intentionally go. I feel bad saying that, as well. I love locally owned restaurants but in this case, I really hope they do something different to separate them selves. Also...the men's bathroom...uh... what is with the see-through plastic shower door being used to separate the toilet from the rest of the bathroom. That was terrible.

Bo Mac's had been on the list to try for a while now, but what got us in the door this summer was their Pups on the Patio events. They have a modestly sized outdoor area with lawn space and murals. During Pups on the Patio, folks can bring their dogs for socializing, photos, and treats (Kaitlyn's Pupcakes + Barkpocket dog beer) while they enjoy face painting, live music, and adult beverages under the sun. The event also features dogs for adoption through Adopt-a-Pal Rescue. Service outside gets a little chaotic, but the staff are well equipped to handle larger crowds. Haven't explored the interior other than the bathroom, which is cleaner than other divey bathrooms and features eclectic decor. Despite their location in Czech Village, street parking has been breezy on both visits. The food menu offers a little something for everyone and holds up to similar style restaurants in town. Personally, I've tried the avocado bruschetta and the fried green tomato sandwich with sweet potato fries and was not disappointed.

This is a nice place that feels like a mom and pop restaurant. They have bands that play several nights a week but I have not felt it was too load to have a conversation. The food is very good bordering on great, they have a large variety to choose from. The craft beer selection and specialty drinks are a plenty! Parking, is street parking I have not found a separate parking lot but there may be one in the back.

Wow!!! This place is amazing. This place was busy during lunch on a Wednesday and now I know why. We started with an order of fried green tomatoes. And by "We" I really mean "I" because I ate all of them. They were absolutely delicious. The breading was perfect. The tomatoes were juicy and full of flavor. Next was the grilled Reuben with beer battered fries. Not only did it taste amazing, it looked great on the plate. The fries were fried to a perfect crisp. My only complaint (and its a small one) was the service was a little slow, BUT like I said it was pretty busy on a Wednesday lunch hour. I will definitely be back and will recommend it to anyone.

My grilled catfish was really tasty, and the fresh fruit was just that: fresh! Our server was great, and I enjoyed the atmosphere. My only hesitation is that my lunch was $12 ($15 with tip). Just a basic burger was $9. This is more than I want to spend on lunch on a regular basis.

Stopped in Friday around 7 was seated quickly. Ordered drinks and food. We were served the biggest tenderloin I ever saw and the side salad was spectacular. I would have given bo macs five stars except it was very noisy which unfortunately seems par for the course with most new places. Other than the noise level this place gets 5 stars.

They certainly spend a lot of money and I hope it's busy every single day. I know if their was an establishment like this in California it would be super pricy to play and eat. The service was awesome and the gal took great care of us and came back to check on us often. The food was okay. They made really good margaritas and the spicy bloody was the best I have had. My cobb salad would have been amazing if they had better or homemade dressing. It was very thick and had no flavor. We had to taste the fried cheese and it was really good, but very salty. I would have to eat one and then wait 15 minutes to eat another one. It was delicious though. My husband had the meat sundae I think and he liked the dish and the horseradish sauce was good and not too over powering. I love that they offer airline chicken which I am assuming it is "air chilled" which has not been dipped into chlorine or antibiotics!? Overall I would come back and try other foods and drinks in the future!!

They have very good comfort food and a nice selection of adult beverages. I had the bacon mac which I enjoyed. The place was clean and our server was friendly. I love that they have indoor activities like bowling and pickleball with another upstairs bar with indoor and outdoor seating with more activities like corn hole. I think others are overly harsh on their critiques of the establishment. It is not meant for fine dining; it's a place to have fun for a few hours. As a person who grew up in Northern WI in the 80s, I would have loved to have a place like this!

First impressions were a bit confusing--the entrance makes you feel like you're walking into an office building. There's a door to the right with signage for what seems to be a sister bar that's only open on limited nights, but the actual restaurant is straight back. Once inside, the space is large and open, with plenty of room between tables and a sizable bar area. I sat at the bar and learned about their Whiskey Wednesday specials, which included several types of Old Fashioneds and whiskey flights. While it sounded intriguing, I opted not to partake. They also offer daily drink special themes. The menu is eclectic, with a mix of Cajun, Italian, and American fare. I went with the Cacio e Pepe with Elephant Ear (Orcchiette) pasta, and added shrimp along with a half wedge salad as a premium side. The pasta itself was delicious--perfectly cooked with a rich, peppery flavor. However, I wish the server had mentioned that the shrimp was Cajun-seasoned. While great on its own, it slightly overpowered the pasta. The wedge salad was a bit of a letdown--the lettuce was watery, which diluted the overall flavor. The dish also came with garlic bread, which was yummy. Service was outstanding--attentive, friendly, and efficient. Unfortunately, it was hard to get a real read on the restaurant's vibe because it was pretty empty on a Wednesday night.

The patio is nice, great tables and the servers paid close attention to what we may want/need in the food realm. My friend got a Greek salad and really enjoyed it. I got a burger with BBQ sauce that was messy as all get out and so worth it. Got the dipping fries and willing to say I was really surprised with how tasty they were. They are unique too so maybe made in house. The jerks with two dogs, one was really aggressive trying to attack someone else's dog that was totally chill. That definitely means a deduction even though there were rules posted, it didn't seem the staff was going to bother and I get that it is pretty awkward. Seems like the staff would have to hear the ruckus cause the dogs were by the entrance to the place. The other folks took their dog back to the car. It was the sort of outward aggression that would make me wary if they are regulars. We had already ordered and gotten our food so we simply kept a watchful eye out.
