Paper Moxie looks great on the outside - but fails to deliver. For being a high end wedding…read moreinvitation designer - the customer service and delivery is not up to expectations. While the design suite was beautiful and custom - it was hard to get Sheryl to take feedback without getting defensive - leading to products that didn't quite get it right. However, the major complaint is WAY past the deadline. Invitations are slated to go out pretty close to the wedding if you are at the end of the season. We specifically requested an earlier delivery date in our contract - instead we got the invitations later than the original date. However, Sheryl didn't change the RSVP by date when she finally sent them out - so people had no time to RSVP. Some people were scanning and faxing their RSVPs back because they were so worried they were past the deadline. Paper Moxie expressly states that they are not responsible for proofreading in their contract. However, they don't state that when you send them corrections you have to triple check that they actually did them... For a seriously high end invitations suite, the customer service and final product just aren't where they need to be. By far the wedding vendor I was most disappointed in.

Sheryl's ability to create unique designs and patterns and construct stationary that reflects each couple's personality is evident in each piece she makes. Her attention to detail is what sets her work apart. Recently she created an invitation suite and wedding day stationary for a dear couple of mine, Betty and Craig, and I wanted to share their feedback. "Sheryl Bracken is an amazingly talented sought after stationary designer in Seattle and a pleasure to work with. Her personality, style and ability to connect with her couples visions made Michelle think that she would be a great fit for us. Sheryl's creativity is abundant and each invitation and corresponding pieces are original, reflect the couple and have an impressive amount of detail and thought that goes into them. The invitations set the tone for the wedding experience, it is the first item our guests will receive. We definitely want to make a great first impression! Michelle set up a meeting with Sheryl, so Craig and I had a chance to see her portfolio of designs. We were so impressed! We are so excited to see what Sheryl will create for our wedding invitations!" "Thank you so much for designing a perfect invitation that suits our personality and wedding theme." "The thought you put into our wedding day stationary is so appreciated. The table signs came out wonderfully as did the programs, menus, etc. It was the little details that really made our day feel that much more special."

Oh my goodness goodness gracious! This place is truly a quilter's paradise. I had never even heard…read moreof it before, but was passing through Snohomish recently and, of course, my car swerved into their parking lot as soon as I passed by. Downstairs, the place is about half fabric and half classrooms of various sizes. The fabric area is mainly quilting cottons, with a decent selection of patterns, and a recently-updated yarn area for the knitting and crochet crowd. They carry most of the main fabric designers for quilting, as well as batiks, holiday prints, and tons of solids and mixers. Accessories include any ruler, tool, or notion you could possibly need for quilting; plus they have sewing-inspired gifts, too. Upstairs, there are more classrooms (including a pay by the hour longarm rental room) and a large Bernina showroom. This area also has more patterns, as well as bagmaking supplies. The supply selection here is pretty good - lots of zippers, d-rings, etc. However, as with most things bagmaking, there just didn't seem to be enough stuff to satisfy my cravings for things like printed vinyl, waterproof canvas, rainbow zippers, etc. The sad truth for bagmakers is that it's hard to find a local option to shop these things; I end up buying most of my supplies online or at the Sew Expo. That being said, if you're a beginning bagmaker I'm sure you would find their supplies more than adequate. The staff I encountered were friendly and helpful, too - I was a little nervous about this after reading previous reviews, but I had no issues with service. I ended up buying a quilt pattern book and a really cool fabric-focused wall calendar that I can't wait to start using in January. I'll definitely be coming back here, and I hope to take a class or two in 2025.

Their online store has huge selection of origami paper and artisan paper from all over the world. With a click of the mouse you can order whatever paper you fancy. They even carry hard to get papers like Kraft and Elephant hide. I happened to be traveling in the area and decided to make a detour to check out the physical store. The owner Kimberly and her husband are very courteous and offered me good direction to their little shop on the mountain. I felt like a kid in the candy store as soon as I walked in. I've never seen so many origami papers in one place. They are both avid folders so of course the store is filled with their creations (see pictures). I probably spent about 1.5 hours in the store, talking to them about paper, life, and traveling. I highly recommend to check out their physical or online store if you are interested in origami. I am not kidding you when I say anything related to origami that you can think of you will find it in their store. I bought several large pieces of paper but didn't want to carry them those tube containers, so they kindly cut the paper into 12x12 squares for me. Tip: They have some amazing double sided dual colored Kraft paper which is very hard to come by outside of Europe.
