Came here on a Friday night. Their wine selection is very limited for a wine bar. Stale vegetables…read moreregardless of what you order from the menu. Surprisingly generic, north americanized, and extremely salty Italian food. Service was friendly and appetizers were fine. Ambience is ok. Overall, highly pricey compared to what is offered.

Yaaaasssss... this place rocks. Came here as a party of three on a chilly Monday night and rocked…read morethe early week blues right out of their socks. Lovely pours of interesting wines, fine specialty cocktails, a bunch of shared plates that included flatbreads, olives, charcuterie, cheese and ultimately a couple of dozen oysters that disappeared almost before the server was able to make it back to the kitchen. What's more to like? Especially nice touches on the oysters that sat on a bed of sea salt with toppings available that included fermented horseradish, a nicely seasoned jalapeno puree and a red wine reduction to perk up the briny little invertebrates. Yum. We did not mess around, spared no overindulgences (burp) and still barely managed to spend $300. Yes, that's a lot of money, but when something is this well put together, very well worth the price in my opinion. And when you're spending that much, any sin gets pointed out in great detail. No such issue. Love to return here and concur with fellow Yelpers the strong rating for this venue. Highly recommended.

Lots of easy parking in front. A little fancier inside than expected which made for a nice date…read moredinner. Staff were great. We tried the white wine flight for $26.32. They were all very drinkable which was nice but none I would search out at a wine store. Boyfriend tried the Cesear and found it "different" - it looked very dilute to me. Wound not get again. He also tried The Help cocktail - 8/10 not the best but not bad. For entree I got the Pork Schnitzel and he got the Wild Boar Tagliatelle. Pork Schnitzel: 10/10 was very happy with my portion, tastes, and flavors. 100% would come and get again. Wild Boar Tagliatelle: boyfriend was very happy with it. It tasted to much like classic pasta to me - smaller portion that I would have liked too - a handful more noodles would be good! Boyfriend was still hungry after his meal - so we got dessert. We tried Lemon Tartelette: 9.5/10, my only critique is that the tart was Very very small and hardly enough to share. Flavor was 10/10 and the raspberry gelato was 12/10 good. and Mango Cheesecake in a jar: boyfriend liked, but its cream cheese mousse and I Really do not like this - personal preference so I won't rate it. Boyfriend found it very filling/heavy but liked the flavors.

We all got different meals, many with slight alterations and all absolutely loved our food. As well, our drinks were delicious and our service was excellent. It is a little outside the center town of Canmore and seems to be a hidden gem. It is a cute lodge feel with a nice outdoor patio. Would come again on my next trip to Banff/Canmore for sure!

The wait staff was pleasant knowledgeable and accommodating. We were in a large party so we had a semi private dining area. Their specialty cocktails were great and very appealing to the eye in regard to the presentation upon delivery to the table. Very well put together flavour notes hit. The noise level in the restaurant was perfect for socializing so no complaints there. We did have a large party which probably pushed the kitchen staff a bit because some of the plating of a few dishes came out and were not complete ( 2out3 dishes came missing some plating components) when we made a comment to the waiter he went to investigate. They realized the issue and made a course correction on our bills which was appreciated. I hade the pork chops and I'll say the plating presentation was good but the quality of the the chops not so much, now I've worked in the industry in the past so I usually give a wide birth when it comes to the doneness of my proteins. But these were over cooked or seemed to have been cooked from a frozen state because they were dry as an Alberta summer. Not to mention tough and for that reason is why I'm only giving a 3 out of 5. Pork chops should be cooked through but full of juice these definitely missed the mark. The other components of the dish were great cooked proper with a perfect balance of seasoning. I'd come stop in again if I was in town but I'd probably wouldn't get the chops again.

The wait staff was very friendly and informed us that they sold off the main restaurant area to Brokin Yolk and just use their kitchen in the evenings. The food was good but they discontinued their "Trust the Chef" menu the day before so have a very limited a la carte menu with only one vegetarian item that doesn't change (tough for repeat clientele). High end prices for a restaurant with very little ambiance. I think they should focus on catering.
