Mind you I had never been here or shopped here before I couldn't believe how gracious they were! Not to mention I had a friendly dog hanging around as I was building the box! So rad! The next time I had to sell some of my gear to pay a bill and the guy working in the gear section could feel my pain and gave me a really solid deal that he really didn't have to! This place is special In Bellingham and the people who work here have to be the best spirited team in any shop around town. Jackets, gear, "ooh look at this" items, suddenly it was less holiday shopping and more Yeagers-sponsored shopping spree for him. And honestly? I'm not mad about it. We did successfully shop for the people we came in for...one lucky person is getting a Yeagers gift card (which honestly feels like a win for everyone). I could not get the shifting dialed in. I finally took it to fairhaven. They replaced cables, monkeyed with it for a whole day to try to get it dialed in. They realized that the old and the new were not compatible. So replaced my derailleur with another dura ace derailleur. Works perfectly. And the whole bill was $104.00. I just purchased a new Thule EasyFold XT 2 because of its load rating of 130 lbs which will be close to the maximum load once I load my (2) RAD Electric Bikes onto it - being I needed to clear the spare tire I looked at many option but I always came back to the Heininger-6000 Advantage Adjustable 11-Inch Hitch Extension, in black of course to keep everything color coordinated. This solution is so simple I needed my receiver hitch to extended out about a foot further than the original receiver that was built into my "RockHard" customer bumper. We purchased a Dura Assist hydraulically assisted 4 bike rack about a year ago and the product has…read moreworked flawlessly. Unlike most racks we researched, the Dura Assist allows you to lower the rack and open the rear door without removing or adjusting the bikes - a very useful feature. The hydraulic assist makes raising and lowering a rack full of bikes smooth and easy. The Softride customer service is also very helpful. After loosing our security keys - which locks the rack to the hitch - I contacted the company and they had a new set cut and sent to us asap.
