Then provided a quick training class on how to use it. Now that is customer service at its finest! They also have a nice selection of bikes and accessories available in the store, and are conveniently located right across the street from Haggen's on Meridian. Once the traffic circle is complete it will be even easier to visit them.

My wife's four year old Rad Runner was in need of a tune up, and Tate Wilcox, the owner, was very responsive, and we were able to schedule in short order. Tate has a very well equipped modern mobile shop in his vehicle. Tate arrived on time, we went over what work would be performed, and I left him to it. He was able to sort out a very difficult front brake situation, and has both brakes working better than new. We're very satisfied with the service, and the value is excellent, top quality work performed at my house for less than a bike shop would charge, not to mention the hassle of getting a heavy e-bike to and from a shop. I'm very very impressed, and am recommending Cascadia to my bikey friends.

Lenny's took care of the warranty claim promptly. Five stars because it's easy to be five star when things go perfectly but the real test is how well I was treated when this warranty issue came up. As an avid cyclist with over 50,000 miles riding experience and countless cycle purchases both online and at local bike shops I know when I've been treated well and Lenny's did a great job for me.

Nothing was broken, no bike was rolled away with, Kenny just needs to take a class or read a book or two on customer service. Shortly before she came in I was in the store looking to rent a bike. I came in with the intention of renting at 2:30 on a Tuesday and returning 10:00 am on Thursday around 44 hours. So I asked if he could give me a potential discount and he basically laughed in my face and said no, we only do calendar day rentals. So $72 a day, which is ridiculous because the other local bike store rentals for $45 a day for a similar bike. For 3 days, there is a 3 day discount of $24 off equalling $192, still ridiculous for 44 hours. They did have ten or so identical bikes outside so Kenny must be a trust fund baby or something just leaving business out there. Neither of us got a welcoming experience or any type of feeling of hospitality or simply want to have us in the store. I recommend Lopez kayaks and bicycle works just down the road, completely different experience. The only reason we didn't is they weren't open for the season yet. Id rather walk the island than rent from Village Cycles.

I have a 2011 Hei Hei. I bought it used but it was in great condition, obviously well taken care…read moreof without signs of damage. I rode it for three years, enjoying the ride and function of the bike overall. The bike got me out of some bad spots due to the bike's capabilities. Why only three stars? The brakes were always on the noisy side, which is a minor issue, partially solved by using good pads. The big issue is that the frame cracked on the seat post tube, near the crank. This bike had no damage there or anywhere else. This is not an area that would be damaged easily. My local bike shop confirmed it was a stress crack that occurred from normal use. A quick internet search show that this is a common area for a Hei Hei's frame to break. This is obviously a weak spot in manufacturing or design of the frame. I contacted Kona, sent them the attached photos and they just sent me information for Kona shops in my area. Since Kona is a premium brand, I hoping they would take a little responsibility other than kiss me off to a local shop. I'm shopping for a new bike now and will not be looking at Kona's. Look at the attached photos. I hope they save you from the same problem I have. I thought about giving a one star review but it was a good bike for eight years. Anybody need spare parts?

The Bike Lab could get me an appointment in less than a week, which is pretty impressive in the spring. When I dropped off the bike Jake had a look and asked exactly what I wanted done, and suggested a few extra items, like new tires, but had no problem with me turning the suggestions done. When I picked up the bike the next day he had done all the work agreed on, and even done a few extra things which I appreciated. We also talked about the limits of what could be done to my bike. It's old and has been through a lot. Fixing all ailments would be expensive, but it's now in the best condition it can be. And it came in a few dollars below what the estimate was. As an aside, when I picked up my bike, another person came in with a flat tire, and he took it in and said it would be ready in 20 minutes. That's customer service!
