No blood, no pink, just medium with clear juices. We both ordered beer fries. Order was modest in size, but that didn't matter because the burger was huge. Loved the slice of raw onion and pickles. Bar itself is beautiful hard woods with all kinds of character. We went about 11:30A, by noon every seat was taken by locals. Clearly a favorite. I don't throw this around lightly, but that was one of the most delicious sandwiches I have eaten in my life. The smoke was deep, the ham was tender, and the mac and cheese on top was a legitimately inspired move. Absolutely killer combination. Having spent 25 years in the military, I lived all over the country and had some genuinely exceptional barbecue along the way. Places that locals swear by. Regional legends. All of it. Primal 'Cue still stands out as one of my all-time favorite barbecue spots. That says everything. Everything this place puts out is on point.
