They have big leather swivel chairs that are actually comfy. The bar was very lively on a weekday at 4 pm. Watermelon mojito was one of the best I've ever had , followed it up with a great espresso martini. Ordered the fried clams appetizer which was good but many pieces were so small and thin that they seemed pure batter and no clam. The escargo was covered in a mexi-cheese blend that I found strange at first but tastes delicious- just more like Wisconsin escargo then French . They came with delicious crispy bread bites that we soaked up all the extra cheese and juices. Broccoli cheddar soup was the best I've ever had and absolutely loved the steak medallions with onions and dude of sauce . Steak was perfectly cooked. I loved this place and can't wait to come back

We ordered our meals after some tough decision making after snacking on their very tasty warm rolls. I tried their special of crabbed stuff shrimp. Five large shrimp that were very good with a baked potato on the side. My wife got the encrusted salmon and was surprised that it was encrusted in a bread crumb cheese mixture. She really enjoyed it. Our friends got the chicken with pasta and the walleye - two thumbs up. We decided to try their ice cream drinks for dessert. One pink squirrel and one brandy Alexander. Both were good but we have had better and bigger versions at other supper clubs. Prices were typical for a supper club - not cheap.

But The food was OK. The highlight of my meal were the chips. For beverages, there are no refills and the price for the iced tea was more expensive than the beer (they don't carry Summer Shandy BTW). Something we haven't really seen before. Even if it is advertised on the menu, they could mention it as a reminder when offering a second beverage . It was ultimately shocking that, ultimately, our server didn't really think of coming back with the change after paying with a bigger bill (and we still gave a good tip).

Lakeside has immensely gone downhill. DO NOT GAMBLE HERE!! Last night my sister pulled a $25 pull tab and they tried to say that it was already pulled for the day. How would a pull tab that she had just ripped open have already been pulled for the day???! I don't believe it for a second. I have pictures of my pull tab that was "signed" after the bartender had already taken it behind the bar. The bartender then refused to let me take a picture of their pull tab sheet because the handwriting on there sheet and the handwriting on the pull tab were the exact same handwriting and pen color... seems very fishy to me. The bartenders were being incredibly rude about the situation and playing a blame game on us over $25??!

They attract local musicians travelling between gigs in larger cities. The barn is an old pig barn with magical acoustics, great sound and not a bad seat in the house. The audience is quiet and attentive. They come to hear the music. We saw a band called Cribshitter. Man, were they fun. There's a nice selection of local beers and a food truck. What more could you ask for?
