When we finally picked it up, there was zero oil in it and the oil filter was crushed. The machine smoked like crazy right away -- complete junk. We brought it back, where it sat for 7 weeks while they fed us excuse after excuse. Every call we made, we got the same line: "you're next in line." Truth is, they weren't fixing anything because they already knew they sold us a lemon. When we finally showed up in person, the so-called "owner" couldn't even bother to talk to us. Chris was an absolute joke -- condescending, rude, and arrogant. He actually told my husband that people spend way more money and that our $16k UTV was "cheap." Imagine dropping 16 grand and being told it's nothing. His attitude was basically: take your broken machine and get lost. We took it to Bennett Motors in Fly Creek -- who actually treat people with respect -- and they confirmed what we suspected: the entire engine needs to be rebuilt. So thanks, Chris, for being a liar, a crook, and running a shop that clearly has no problem ripping people off.

Both experiences were very good. The exhaust system was for a Toyota Camry. The service was great. Very friendly and helpful staff at all levels. Very reasonable hourly rate, lower than most dealerships by far. The staff even dropped me off at home after I left the car with them and offered to pick me up when the work was completed, or even bring the car to me at home. Almost unheard of these days. The work was completed on time, and the cost was right in line with the estimate. I cannot think of a single negative aspect of this experience. The previous car with the wheel bearing replacement was a Mercedes CLK320 convertible. Despite the car being a little less familiar, the technicians had no problem finding the correct parts and materials to complete the work in a timely manner and correctly. I am having another vehicle looked at by them next week and I have great confidence they will be thorough, the work will be done correctly the first time and the cost will be reasonable. It's very nice to be able to build a relationship with a trusted locally owned repair and maintenance facility. I recommend this business with complete confidence.

We'll take care of it.", which they did, at no additional cost to me . This car has given me problems with this engine light since I've gotten it and each time they have put it on the smoke machine and resolved the issue . Gregg thoroughly explained each time why it was coding. It has now been off for several miles now, but they spent a lot of time and effort to accomplish that. I appreciate their diligence, honesty, and hard work.

So, we walked out the door and went to GSE Performance and bought a pit bike from them. This prompted me to drive 4.5 hours one way to see just 'what was what' at this shop... In their defense, one caliper did need to be replaced (as one wheel's brake was 'metal on metal'), the 4 rotors needed to be replaced (along with pads), and one stud/lug nut was cross-threaded. My daughter is a 20 year old who 'calls em like she sees em'. All I know for certain is that she didn't like this place. I told him 'not everyone in Clinton is rich' during a civil 'one on one' conversation outside. I asked him rhetorically, "With all due respect, $1100 for brakes??; What do you think the car is worth, $2000?" He replied, "Well, maybe a little more than that." He shrugged his shoulders and went back inside. It is a 12 year old very common sedan. I took the car elsewhere, on the outskirts of an east coast city... It turns out that the car also needed a new lower control arm (it had a cracked bushing), badly needed new spark plugs, and needed a new oil sender unit (which was leaking a lot). ALL of this additional work (plus all of the work quoted) was completed for $1000 elsewhere, (Parts and labor fully warranted, licensed mechanic, done within 24 hours) Do the math & good luck in selecting your repair shop.
