We hired bob, Jesus and team to deal with a leak in our bathroom. Jesus told us that we needed to repair our flooring because of the damage caused by the leak. We were onboard but told them to fix the leak before redoing the flooring. After spending $3K on flooring, the leak is still there and Jesus won't answer our calls. After my own research, I was able to get some ideas of what the best options were. Most contractors I met with gave very costly (and unnecessary) solutions and some weren't even able to find a solution.. and others were just not available (in time). And then I found Bob through Yelp. The high reviews on his Yelp page peaked my interest, so I called him for a consultation. He came in with Jesus and they were VERY quick to figure out the issues. I had used Bob for a small project in my rental; to replace a cracked window. At the time he was one of the only guys to respond quickly and follow-through. He also did good work. I called him for a recommendation for an exterior house painter. He indicated he had a business with a friend and that they did water proofing and house painting, as well as light (non-licensed) construction. I asked him for an estimate. It was a little higher than another one I had gotten, but Bob made the point that his workers don't just paint over dry rot, old fixtures and damaged door frames. I have a hundred year old house with a 10 year old paint job. I needed someone that had enough construction sense to replace old cornices and framing with new wood, and take off old clutter on the building. True to his word, Bob's crew replaced the dry rotted areas, took off stuff that didn't belong there anymore, put on layers of sealer, primer and paint and my building looks amazing!! Bob takes a look at the whole house and figures out where the trouble spots are. He has a lifetime of experience to pull from and it shows in the quality of his work and his attention to detail. I had a siding issue on my home & was told it was asbestos siding & would have to find a specialist to fix the loose siding pieces or remove & replace the siding. i had 3 window leaks, i caulked inside and out, rescraped it, did it again multiple times for weeks/months. even sprayed flex seal all over it. I could never get the leak fixed. I finally folded and reached out to Bob. Those who know how to work with him realize you gotta call him over and over again for weeks/months until he's finally available. But, this guy and his team knows what they are doing. They fixed 3 of my leaks that i tried so hard to fix, i am a diy person. It is presently storming hard and my window leak is fixed.. not sure how they did it, but i'm glad it is done. fyi, if your an ahole, he won't help you out, he fixed my leak cheap and knew what he was doing/team knew what they are doing as well. He did such a great job, we didn't even look any further to have him and his team put in crown molding, new baseboards, trim around our doors and windows, and paint our entire condo.
