Maple Pepper bacon... yumm. (I already ate one when I took this pic, sorry)

I've been to this particular Bob Evan's in the past and we made a point to come back (not just because we're staying in Johnson City) but there aren't any Bob Evan's restaurants near where we currently live. It's typical fare for BE but if you're a biscuits and gravy aficionado, then you'll get where I'm coming from. I don't come here for anything else but the breakfast, no matter the time of day. They also now have maple pepper bacon... Bob, you already had me at B&G but this seals the deal! Ain't nothin better than some meat candy! We'll be back.

Back in 1995-2005 I was worked for Bob Evans in one capacity or another clear up to Assistant Manager. I even worked in Pigeon Forge Tn, one of the busiest and highest grossing restaurants they had. I also worked when there were secret shoppers. I haven't been to a Bob Evans in 5 years. I really missed the good food, great service, friendly staff. Well, let me tell you, I didn't get it here. It was the worst service, very inattentive server, cold and horrible food and we waited 45 minutes to get it. Corporate will hear about this business. I met Mr Bob Evans years ago. He really cared. Don't know who runs this circus now, shame on you!!

Always good. Service is consistently good. I like being able to eat a good breakfast and not have the distractions of Cracker Barrel.

We've ordered room service and I've also eaten at the bar. The bar has Great ambience with a fireplace and very nice architectural features. It also has tables where you can sit and eat. As for the food, the breakfast is good , for dinner, the Pork chop is phenomenal, the airline chicken is very, very good, but the deconstructed Wellington was disappointing. Burger is pretty good too. Friendly and helpful staff. I love this hotel.

I've previously rated the restaurant at Wellington's but I stayed at Carnegie Hotel again and…read morewanted to rate the Lounge separately. While this is in the hotel, I feel like this is a local bar or at least that's how the bartenders treat it. If you're a hotel guest you're ignored and get less service. Yet you get to watch the locals get preferred service. I sat and watched an older female guest go behind the bar, one bartender follow a Middle Aged man out of the bar and when they came back together about 15 mins later, she only talked to him and the other gentleman he was there with not making drinks for anyone but the 2 of them. I saw the bartender who took my order stop making my drink to take care of people she knew. I've had that same bartender when I stayed her before and she was unpleasant last time too, so she must night like out of towners. I wasn't overly hungry so just ordered the fried green tomatoes. They were tasty but very dry. I told her I didn't want remoulade, so got ranch instead, for an additional dollar even though I didn't get the remoulade (and I actually didn't even like their ranch). I may eat in the restaurant again if I stay at the hotel in the future. However I'll look to see who the bartenders are and if it's either of these 2 ladies, I'll probably save money and not give them my business.

Our company commented on how nice the restaurant is and the 4 of us were seated at a large booth which gave us plenty of room. We were promptly greeted by Bree, who brought us waters and took our drink order. We ordered the spinach dip which everyone devoured. On to dinner...I have been here several times and asked Bree to help me decide between the Chef's pasta or the buttermilk chicken. She recommended the pasta if I was hoping to have leftovers. I had it with the Cajun cream sauce and blackened salmon. Absolutely delicious!!!! The other dishes were blackend salmon with Pomodoro sauce and the sea bass. Ordered a side of brussel sprouts and garlic parm fries for the table to share. Bree was outstanding and our meals were all delicious. We prefer to eat at the bar but we're very happy with our table and the service.

Recently visited Label for the first time in years and the experience didn't disappoint. Love that…read morethey have sushi options along with steaks, pastas, salads, and sandwiches. On this occasion I had a spicy tuna roll, which is my go to. We also ordered Firecracker Shrimp and Crab Rangoon for the table. The sushi and crab Rangoon were both great and I would definitely get again. The shrimp was ok but I've had better at different restaurants. For my entree I ordered the Chef's Pasta and opted for the Cajun cream sauce with blackened salmon. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauce and salmon made it the perfect combo. Would definitely get this entree again. The service was great and our drinks never ran dry. Our waitress made several suggestions for the table and was super attentive and kind. Overall we had a great experience at Label and will be back.
