There aren't many places that serve breakfast at 8:00 pm in this town. So when I'm visiting here and thinking about an omelette in the evening i find myself at Bob Evans. It was actually quite busy here for a weeknight only an hour before closing time. Only two servers, and both were running. Our table had looked like it had been cleaned rather hastily as they were some crumbs and a few sticky spots. Service was very good, considering that each server had quite a few tables. Veggie hash is back on the menu, and it is tasty. My mom, not a fan of 8 pm breakfast, enjoyed her baked potato soup. We both liked the twisted cheese appetizer. All in all about what I expect from. Bob Evans.

This place looks great and refreshed after its complete renovations in recent years. It's much more bright, open and lots of merchandise and baked goods for sale. Our server Ash was very friendly, prompt and helpful. The crepes have returned here (as of April '19) and are huge! Wish there was an a la carte option to just get one crepe. Lots of new menu items here but they still do all the classics of breakfast just right!

If you enjoy hearing the f-bomb during dinner, this is the place...four times from the kitchen. Wrong toast, then toast with no butter. Did not get pancakes. We never saw our waiter after the food was delivered. Waiters stacked dirty dishes on the three tables next to us and walked away. I will give Janee (sp) props. She worked hard to get things right for us.

Lovely interiors. Take the Pumpkin Loaf home with you!

For what it is...a family style chain restaurant...it is excellent! Warm welcoming staff, clean well done interiors, and very good food at reasonable prices! This is my first experience with the Bob Evans chain and in three days I've eaten here twice!

The Met has a policy that your server gets to proudly wear a crown if their name is mentioned in a five star review. Love that policy!! Wear it proudly Ashely!! The Met is a unique building downtown Lima. It was built in the late 1880's and was originally home to the The Metropolitan Bank. It has since been morphed into a restaurant with very attractive original features. The wood floors and plaster ceilings...along with the attractive decor really enhance the dinning experience! The team here is very friendly, professional and welcoming. Ashley was outstanding. She hustled, knew her menu and had great recommendations. Ashley was very attentive and helped us enjoy the evening. I appreciated Liz stopping by and welcoming us. Liz shared lots of history and helped us appreciate the facility. The Met has a large food menu that has something for everyone. They have a large selection of beverages and specialty cocktails. All at reasonable prices. We started with a couple of Mule drinks. One was a designer St. Patrick's Day Mule and their specialty Met Mule. Both were very tasty, cool and refreshing . We started with the Focaccia bread appetizer. It had a lightly golden/chewing top with a soft and moist inside. Liz said that they make the bread fresh three times a day. The bread had a slight olive oil taste with a mild amount of Italian herbs. The soft whipped butter was a nice add. The side salad had lots of fresh spring greens. There was a few tasty tomatoes and lots of stronger tasting onions. The thin Parmesan cheese shreds were an excellent touch. The house ranch dressing was very smooth/light/creamy moderately thin with a mild ranch taste. My wife had the chicken bacon ranch flatbread. The crust was thin and crispy. She really liked the ranch house made sauce and how it accented the meat toppings. I had the Met Meatloaf which had an outstanding meat flavor. The meat was made with Italian sausage which had a slightly spicy kick. It was moist and tender to go along the beefy taste. The smooth red sauce on top was slightly sweet & spicy. It accented the meat nicely. The mashed potatoes were real with lumps, eyes and minute peel pieces. Very smooth and delicious! The grilled asparagus had a slight crisp to go along with the tender stalk. Not much seasoning detected...just a nice olive oil taste. Overall a fantastic dinner experience. We sat street level and watched the pedestrians come & go while enjoying the decor of this unique facility! The menu is large and the food and drinks are outstanding. A special trip to The Met in downtown Lima is worth a try!

We arrived at 11:30 and left at 2. They were nice to let us linger. Everything we had was terrific. Soups are made in-house. I'm thinking most all things on the very large menu were probably very good. They seem to care about the details. We also shared some ice cream cookie sundae concoction that was 5*. Metered parking on the street and there was a free lot but it was full. Meters were $2 for two hours. Nice staff and there were no staff shortages! Lilly our server was perfect. If we pass through again we will stop in! The bar area is exquisite.

An interesting place, and they are putting together great food and it has 15 beers on tap! I had the Freight Train grilled chicken sandwich. The people working there have never been served by Trump or the right wing agenda, and no one else appeared to be watching the those tvs. It makes no sense why they would have Fox News up anywhere in their establishment. Our server was nice, yet even though the bar was less than 25% capacity, it took 15 minutes to get an overpriced Old Fashioned which was not made correctly. It was far too sweet, had some sort of 7up-like soda in it, and we couldn't even taste any rye bourbon in them. There was too much ice in the glass and the cherries were the cheapest of the cheap. None of the other drinks available looked enticing, especially after that drink. The fried pickles were delicious and I also ordered a PBJ burger. The burger was well done even though I asked for medium rare. The overall taste was very yummy only because there was so much jelly and oily peanut butter to assist the dry overdone burger. The sidewinders were well flavored but could have been double fried to be slightly crispier. Partner also ordered a burger and typically prefers medium well done. Even they thought their burger was too overdone and dry. The floors were sticky and the place smelled like pinesol which was distracting from the food. Even though it smelled like cleaning products, the place felt dirty and sticky, not somewhere I would like to eat. I appreciate the divey, live music in the corner sports bar vibe, but the management and organization seemed off here, like a weird awkward silence. I wouldn't come back unless they make their drink game more professional, there was a very good special on beers, or a particular band I would enjoy seeing here.

As far as the food is concerned you would be better spending your money at Texas Steakhouse , the food just tastes better there, and that's sad, I like to go to smaller places instead of the big guys, but food taste alone I wouldn't go back here, so the steaks were all smashed I'm only guessing to speed up the cooking since they were busy , but that's not a real good excuse it smashes out all the juices, so we have three 12oz steaks all dry, but biggest issue I had was after paying. The waitress takes my bill and money, bill was $84.11, she gives me back $15, ok so she steals .89 cent you know it's not about the amount it's the fact she straight up took the money before I left the tip, my family was ticked off to say the least, since I'm not coming back I left a $10 tip anyways, but that action cut her tip in half. And no, no one does that on accident , the computer tells her on screen how much to give back, so I really don't care how busy you are do your job correctly. So I really can't recommend Lock Sixteen overpriced for the quality of food we got, and ultimately service was a wreck.

I love the no-frills vibe of the venue, staff and customers. My first impression? Dark! I arrived at noon:30 because a passing acquaintance mentioned Lombardo's having the best BPTS. The staff and regulars numbered five and were bantering about nothing at high decibel. I sat at the bar and grabbed a menu. It is a perfectly useful, simple, no-frills list of food and prices. The bartender/waitress was a tad slow to engage this newcomer, but finally got around to taking my order and delivering a glass of water. My second impression? Still dark. The BPTS arrived after the usual wait and was hot from the fryer. It comes with nothing, but the usual garnishes are available for an up-charge that seems a tad rich. $1 for a slice of winter tomato? Pass. $1 for a slice of cheese? Pass. $1 for a slice of onion? Pass. The bun was fresh and the pickle spear was beginning to trend from crisp and crunchy towards a hint of limp. I enjoyed the porky goodness and flashbacks to my childhood BPTS memories. Will I return? Probably. I hope that the kitchen will do breakfast-for-lunch. I am also curious about their hamburger ... $3.50, but the double hamburger is more than 2x the regular burger. What's with that?
