My "interview" was evidence enough of how terrible of a place this must be to work. First off, I am seated for 20 minutes "waiting on a manager" with no accommodations, nor word on when the manager would be out. Ten minutes into my wait another interviewee is sat next to me, and finally the "managers" came out. If the wait wasn't bad enough, the interview was much worse. Questions being asked that in no way, shape, or form could ever be an accurate reflection of my work history or ethic, or had any coincidence with the job being offered. When I was finally sat down to be interviewed, I was met with no "sorry for the wait" or any such courtesies, instead it was instant "what can i bring to the company?". I'm not sure Olive Garden, can you bring competent managers to the table and punctual interview times? I was offered a second interview that I will NOT be indulging in, nor would I expect anyone else to. This was the worst interview experience I have ever had and I pray that they find managers that can be on time to interviews that they schedule, along with ones that can look at resumes beforehand. I have never been much of a fan of Olive Garden. Sure I've eaten a good meal or two at one of their restaurants, but its never been a place I want to go to eat. I find their food to be usually bland and overrated. Furthermore I am not someone who gets excited about unlimited soup, salad and breadsticks. I usually come only when someone I know wants to eat here. My brother wanted to eat here to celebrate his birthday. He is a fan of Olive Garden. So I decided to take one for the team and take him here, my treat. The menu has sure changed since before the pandemic. Its smaller with a lot less items on the menu. Whats worse, most of the stuff I would actually eat was removed from the menu. One thing that stayed was the Classic Shrimp Scampi Fritta, which my brother also likes. We decided to share it. It tasted pretty good, and sadly was it was the only part of the meal we both liked. I ordered a Zuppa Toscana soup which was ok. My brother ordered the chicken and shrimp carbonara, while I ordered for my main course some Chicken Marsala, thinking... well it can't be that bad here. I was wrong. The chicken marsala had no taste... at all. One of the worst meals I've had at an Olive Garden. I ate a few bites and pretty much just left the meal sitting by itself. I comforted myself that at least the appetizer was good and i was having some wine. I was upset when i noticed my brother was eating... but he wasn't clearing the plate. My brother rarely ever doesn't... and its usually when he doesn't like the food. I was planning originally to ask for dessert but since the food was so bad, i decided to forgo ordering it. I asked to pay for the meal and it took a long time to even be able to do that. When i walked out, i pointedly asked my brother if he liked the meal. He hesitated and said yes. I asked him to be honest with me, he said it was... okish. Yeah thats not what I want to hear when I take someone out on their birthday. The money spent here was not worth it. I ended up going to a nearby grocery store and getting him a birthday cake so at least we have something nice. read more

The food was great but our service was the complete opposite we had a server named Riley. Even just to start he made inappropriate comments towards our underage daughter who is only 16 to go along with that was looking at inappropriate parts of her multiple times we caught him looking. As we were concerned with his behavior we watched him walk around the store doing whatever he was doing and made multiple disturbing comments to female coworkers along with having his hands on them. I have to say as far as chain restaurants go this one is a notch above. While we only eat here once or twice a month, have never had a bad experience with staff or food quality. The only negative is the small inside waiting area. While the waits are never that long during Peak periods you may have to stand outside or use one of the outside benches. The food is always good at Olive Garden. My bartender, well not so much. I believe his name is Seth. Only person at the bar. Ordered takeout. Would have had a couple drinks while waiting but poor Seth never got eye contact. I was simply a distraction for him. It was early so he was far from busy. Oh well he works for tips. Stopped in here for dinner while staying at the Marriott Courtyard. I liked the fact that the restaurant was within walking distance of the hotel. As far as the Olive Garden itself, they are all pretty much the same in my opinion. Our waitress was good and the food was OK. I tend to like the appetizers and desserts better than the entrees. Salad and breadsticks are good, especially if you get a side of sauce to dip those breadsticks in. I would agree that the breadsticks are best when they are warm...once they become cold they aren't as good anymore. After I worked all day, my friend brought me here for dinner. We were seated right away. We followed the wait staff past several open booths and tables, different rooms and seating areas. We were finally seated in a room with several open, spacious tables and one table that seated two adults and I think four children. Our table was directly located next the loud and active table of children and also uncomfortably crowded in the corner of the room. As my friend moved a chair to make space to get past the table just to sit down, we looked around at all of the open seating areas. I love Olive Garden. Its always a treat when I go there. Its clean, service is always great and the food is fantastic. The only thing that racks my brain every time I go, is the picture of a familiar chef in the front lobby. I have seen him before and don't know who it is. My last visit I had the salad and breadsticks (awesome as always). followed by stuffed mushrooms and smoked mozzarella fonduta (awesome as always too). I usually get a "make a pizza" as my entrée, but decided to try something new. I went with the Stuffed Chicken Marsala. The Stuffed Chicken Marsala was great. Its a dish I can expect from Olive Garden. We finished our dinning experience with a Pumpkin Cheese cake. That was the only disappointment. A cheesecake should be served cold. Ours was warmed up a bit. The top half was cold and the bottom was warm and almost to a melting point. It was still good but the warm half ruined the dish. read more

The general manager never came to our table to check on things (never saw him go to any other tables either). The only person who was cordial was the food runner of the night. Major props to him.
