Bob Evans used to be our go to place for Sunday morning breakfast with my family. Sadly, the service and food quality declined and we quit going. Several months later, we tried it again for dinner on a Friday evening. We waited over an hour and a half for our food before finally giving up. The manager offered no apology or explanation. My friend and I had dinner at the Logan Ohio Bob Evans. We were so disappointed! My BLT had very under done bacon. Thee bread was soaked in butter before toasted. The onion rings were over cooked to the point they were too hard to eat. The Cole slaw was old and turning an orange color. And tasted awful. My Friends burger was over cooked and the same issue with onion rings. They did replace my Cole slaw with Mac and cheese that was so dry and hard it was not edible. This is not the 1st time we have had awful food but it was the last. We will never patronize this location. On a good note... the waitress was very nice. Despite seeing some negative reviews, we went for breakfast early on a Wednesday. The service was excellent being seated and approached by the server quickly. Our drinks stayed full and we were checked on frequently. The food was good but not great, some was premade like the country fried steak patty (although tasty) and surprisingly, the egg part of omelette. Food was good! Service was excellent. They had one cook show up on a Sunday morning. They were packed with two very large parties and the manager went back to cook along with a hostess. They also were down the dishwasher so the servers were serving, running food, bussing, and dishwashing! Kasi our waitress was excellent and her service never wavered. We finished our meal and walked to the cashier to pay when the electric surged and computers went down. We stood there for about 20 minutes and the registers never came back up to pay with a card. My husband went to withdraw money out of the ATM to pay cash. Sarah was very courteous and offered to write down on a credit card form like in the "old days" . She was very nervous but all who were waiting behind us were very understanding and patient. Poor Sarah and Kasi along with the rest of the staff were doing the best with what they were dealt today and truly deserve a reward! Two 5-star reviews? You've gotta be kidding - I suppose that's a testament to local expectations... This place is 3 stars at best - if you compare to other Bob Evans restaurants. If you're comparing to the larger world of foodservice, they only get 2 stars. Service is a shot in the dark based on who your server is. Food quality isn't great. Kitchen consistency isn't great - sometimes the burgers are okay, sometimes they're dry/greasy. Restaurant is clean-ish. Bathrooms could use some more attention, especially on Sunday when the place is packed. Managers seem to be flustered and/or overwhelmed by the volume of business. read more

The smell when we entered the restaurant should've turned us away. It smelled like fresh baked rolls combined with harsh chemicals. There were no paper towels in the men's bathroom. When an employee was alerted to it, he replied that they already knew, but still didn't do anything about it. The food was decent. the corn was cold. i asked for no tomatoes but that's all my plate was full of. the chicken was cold and tastes like salmon, i got plain ranch when i was supposed to get wildfire ranch.also had to request for fries three times in order to get something that was supposed to be provided for in the first place and still never got the avocados we asked for,truly a terrible experience.terrible food all around. the bathroom stunk, the soap was watery because they can't restock apparently. their was barely anyone in there (rightfully so) and it still took 30 minutes for just drinks. I love the warm biscuits and rolls that come out before dinner. I got the fried shrimp and it was really good - very filling. My husband got a salad with chicken and the stinkiest vinaigrette dressing. It looked like gravy and it was served in a gravy boat! He liked it, though, and that's all that matters. The service was good. There were a lot of un-bussed tables so the restaurant just felt kind of dirty. read more

Everything tasted good but a few hours later I was throwing up the rest of the night. The server, however, was wonderful. After a weekend of pretty horrible service, this Bob Evans was a breath of fresh air! The hostess seated us with a smile, the waitress was pleasant, curteous, and helpful, the food was very good (except for some watery oatmeal but who orders oatmeal anyway?!). With the oatmeal, I also got a crepe filled with yogurt and bananas...and topped with blueberries, cranberries, and pecans. Delish!! Fast service too. We were in and out in about 45 minutes. Don't know what to say about this place. Stopped by today and got seated right away. Not busy but a lot of personal having a fun time talking loudly back and forth. Lots of seats in disrepair and tables not bussed. My ham and cheese with grilled onions was very greasy. We had sundaes for desert, she chocolate, me strawberry. Bob Evan's is USUALLY a decent place to eat , Im a simple guy, and I've worked for a fast food chain for 20 years as a Maintenance supervisor and know there's good one and bad ones depending on general manager or owner operator. We got seated right away and the waitress was a bit awkward. But after we our drinks (Sierra Mist) I ordered a burger and fries. The ONLY thing fresh was my toasted bun - fries were DISGUSTING! i guarantee !! That they under a warmer light for a half an hour EASY! Burger uhhhh was done but semi cold , seriously , I'm not a complainer. but the fries were bad . My wife's was "decent " got a Turkey and stuffing platter and said the stuffing was crusty. read more

I figure it's a weekend so someone might be sleeping and I had to hurry so I couldn't make a formal complaint. My second breakfast meal there definitely made up for the first. After camping there is nothing more welcoming then this Bob Evans in Logan. The staff is kind and attentive and the menu has all the options a tired traveler will enjoy. On this visit I got the "Rise and Shine" which had perfectly cooked over easy eggs, hash browns, wheat toast, and bacon. The plate looked like something from a commercial and tasted just as good. They bring a container of coffee so you can refill you cup as frequently as you want. This place is a great value considering the quality and quantity you get. Always a crowd pleaser. read more
