When we finally got our food, my daughter who only ordered a stack of pancakes had to wait even longer to get her food. A stack included 4 good sized pancakes which she enjoyed. I ordered the Our Famous Hearty breakfast with scrambled eggs, hash browns, and chicken sausage. I also upgraded to the Key Lime blueberry pancakes. They were my absolute favorite and a must try. I didn't think I would like the chicken sausage based on looks but they were pretty good as well. However, my scrambled eggs and hash browns were completely cold. I'm not one to send back food but I couldn't eat them. She did quickly replace them. My other daughter ordered the Waffle combo with eggs fried hard and a side of fruit. She enjoyed her food as well. My husband ordered the Meat Lovers breakfast with sourdough toast and over easy eggs. He said it was good. The server dropped our bill off not long after we received our food and then we never saw her again like before. We needed to go boxes so my husband went to the counter to ask for some. When he tried to get the attention by saying excuse me to the person working the counter, she looked at him and walked away. So he said excuse me again and she came and helped him with to go boxes. Overall, the majority of the food we had was really good. The hospitality and service was a bit lacking.

If you already think fast food drive-thruservice is slow and the worst way to order, this will give you new reasons to despise the option. First, the menu board informs you it is using AI and asks you to accept AI terms. Then, at each step along the way there's an awkward pause while the machine records your selection. I waited and waited without an acknowledgment that my order had been received and finally decided it had and pulled around to the window. There I waited without an acknowledgment until a clerk finally opened the window, recognized me, and completed the order as usual. To finish this "convenience" option, the egg of my breakfast sandwich was fully separate from the bun and sausage and underneath the sandwich.

It's my trashy "fancy" restaurant and it's been a tradition for over 25 years. Yesterday was my birthday, so off we went. This particular location has been going downhill for awhile now, so bad service is expected. We're relaxed and I've never talked to a manager before. From the jump, there's a 25 min wait, no problem. We sat at the bar for a round. Over 10 minutes and no one acknowledged us or took our order. The bartender took my husband's order and the couple next to him, not ours. We were with a couple of friends. Eventually, takes our order and charges my husband my the stranger's drink, too. My husband is super laid back and they had a laugh. We're seated and our server is frantic, sweating, and clearly stressed. We're not in a rush, and eventually takes our drink order. 10 mins pass and they arrive. We order apps. They take awhile and there's no biscuits in sight, or plates. We ask for plates. They don't have any. Biscuits arrive, we've ordered our food, and I always ask for extra butter and lemons when I order, bc I don't like running servers around. Food finally arrives, half my crab legs are cold, no extra lemons or butter. I ask, and was told he's waiting on melted butter. Weird, but ok. My husband had ordered endless shrimp and was ready for his second round. He took my crab to reheat. 20 mins later, I talked to the manager to the side. I don't like embarrassing anyone, especially when I don't think most of this was the server's fault. I was explaining, when another server walked about talking about a gift card, and the manager snapped his head around and, in a raised voice, said "Don't interrupt when I'm talking to my guest!!" I was mortified for the kid. I also have a stutter, so tense situations like that make talking really difficult. As managers do, he apologized while looking past me. He stopped by the table, brought butter, my crab, and my husband's food. Our friends had long since finished their meal and had boxes. Everything there ruined my appetite, but I didn't want to talk to the manager again. I would assume he'd comp at least an appetizer, but nothing. They had one cook and one expo all night. That's a nightmare with a full restaurant. Including the tip, drinks, ours and the stranger's, just our bill was well over $150. To the server, B (I won't give his full first name), I know last night was out of your control and you weren't set up for success. I'm sorry if you thought our frustration was aimed at you.
