This has popped up (among a few other events), so we decided to visit this first. Again, what a great find. So much art in the historic buildings surrounding the other buildings and throughout the town (murals!). I took very few pictures (can you believe that, lol), as I decided to drive versus walk on this very hot day. Ambiance - Two blocks...? Not just the old brewery, but all the adjoining buildings. And the lot across the street with the stage, see pictures. Lastly, the old church... is not a church any more, lol. Free outdoor summer concerts, see website. Theater, performance hall, exhibit hall, grand ballroom, education wing, etc. Classes, membership; see websites. Small parking lot, but other than the artists, we were the only guests here, lol. Well, the rest of the parking lot is currently being used for this event. Call or check their website for hours. Service - Everyone is so welcoming. Price - Free, thank you! I especially appreciated the nice touch at the end -- the actors taking their time during the curtain call to greet and thank all of the patrons. That made the experience even more personal and memorable. However, my first impression of the venue itself wasn't great. This was my first time visiting, and we had difficulty finding parking since it wasn't clear whether parking across by the church was allowed. We were able to find street parking and walked across. Once we arrived, we had trouble figuring out where to enter for the main stage performance. Unfortunately, the woman at the concessions counter (confections) was not helpful or friendly, which made things even more confusing. We ended up walking back and forth between buildings trying to find the correct entrance. The performance was 5-star, but the venue experience -- especially the initial interaction at the concessions counter -- was disappointing. NO stars. I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future visitors.

We had Lauren and she is amazing!!! She made us feel comfortable and did so well with our baby. She was positive, upbeat, and just pleasant to be around. The studio is sooo cute. The vibe is great, the decor is awesome. There's a great selection of spots and props to take pictures with. They supplied the cake which was one less thing to worry about for myself. We even got to take it home and it was delicious. The pictures had an incredibly fast turn around time and are totally adorable. We also got a lot! We will be back!

The food, which is one of the most important thing to my crew, was just not up to what we're used to at say Holiday Inn Expresses. I decided to move over here to the Staybridge Suites. The food is decent here, plus they have a free happy hour Mon - Wed with beer and wine included! Can't beat that! Every room has a full kitchen, electric stove, full sized fridge and even a dishwasher and all the glasses and dishes you need. It's really set up for extended stays, but we're just here one night. This is a pretty new hotel, so everything is mostly new and shiny. Service from the staff was just fine, and breakfast was a whole lot better than that last Hilton place we stayed. Everything worked on the rooms and no weird stray hairs that weren't my color. Wifi work well, and that's the most important thing.

Extremely disappointing experience…read more We arrived with a confirmed reservation and were given a key to a room that was ALREADY OCCUPIED. We actually opened the door and walked into someone else's room, where their personal belongings were inside. This is not only uncomfortable and unacceptable, but also a serious privacy and security concern. If we were able to enter another guest's room, how are guests supposed to feel confident that someone else won't be given access to theirs? We immediately returned to the front desk and informed the staff. We are STILL sitting here waiting while they try to find us another room, despite having a confirmed reservation. After traveling and arriving at a hotel expecting to simply check in and rest, this is the last situation anyone should have to deal with. We also asked what could be done regarding the inconvenience and were told that because we booked through Booking.com, they could not do anything for us. Mistakes can happen, but giving guests access to an occupied room and then leaving them waiting without a room is a serious issue. Very disappointing experience and definitely not the level of service or security I expected from Staybridge Suites.

I was literally only in my room for a couple hours to sleep since we had went to reno for hours to play at the arcade and walked around. We left the room clean. But they charged me for smoking in the room, which i didnt smoke in my room. Because they said they found green stuff on the floor. Not ash or a cigarette. I called to complain but pretty sure im getting charged anyways. I was so excited to spend some time with my kids but now we wont come back. Highly disappointed! They said the room stunk. The only thing that smelled to me were our clothing we had worn to the casino. So i guess a warning you cant even wear smelly clothes in there or they think you were smoking and charge you. Seeing as i have never been charged that anywhere else and i stay in several different rooms a year at any other hotel, i wont be back. I had stayed at a fairfield hotel in Sacramento the night before with no problems til we stayed here.

Upon our arrival, there was plenty of parking both in front of the casino, and in an adjoined parking garage. The exterior of the casino was clean and appeared quite safe. This was an easy casino to access both from downtown Carson City and it was easy to get back on the main highway. While all of the Reno/Carson City casinos seemed pretty similar to me, I appreciated this one due to the non-smoking area. During my four days in the area, I experienced many casinos, and I couldn't get away from the smoke smell in most of them. In this casino, there is a well-ventilated non-smoking area just to the right side of the front door. I popped in there and would have felt comfortable for a good period of time without being bothered by smoke. For those who enjoy gambling and may be affected by smoke, I highly recommend that you visit Fandango and see if you enjoy the experience as much as I did.

It is currently operated by their son (Gayle's cousin) and daughter-in-law as a venue for outdoor weddings and special events. The Orchard House is where Gayle's brother was married a few years ago, and what a memorable event it was. And with the recent engagement of one of her sons, a wedding at these pretty, spacious and well kept grounds may be in the works. Although Gayle and I will be wed in Napa next May, Genoa and the Orchard House remain near and dear to our home town hearts.

When we entered the room there was a bad smell inside the room. After walking around we found black mold on the drywall surrounding the ac unit. We called the front desk & they came up to confirm & asked us to meet them at the lobby. They told us they had room available since they had sold out! They didn't give us any help just told us there wasn't anything they could do for us. We called everywhere & every hotel motel was full we had to drive all the way back home 6 hours away! They have yet to give us a refund or anything! Stay away from this place they don't care to help anyone!!

She really made our visit memorable and we will definitely choose this location next time we are in town overnight because of her. Our room was spacious and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was great as well they had real eggs and bacon which was so nice along with a ton of other options, but the bacon and eggs really hit the spot. I must have called 10 different places before I happened to run into a woman who works here. Even though I didn't originally rent from her, she went completely out of her way to help me. Beware! Here is why: We decided to sign my son up to play…read moreindoor soccer. We knew that indoor soccer is aggressive as we have an older daughter who played for several years in a different state. The referees where we used to play may have missed some calls, however never was a player left on the field when they were down and injured. Tonight my son was shoved by a straight arm push into the boards. No call was made even when my son did not get up. The parents, coach and players were all screaming at the referee that a player was down and still the referee ignored the fact that a player was not getting up. When the opposing team's goal keeper finally got the referee's attention, the referee finally stopped the play to check on the player. When my son still was not able to get up unassisted, our coach was called over to help him off the field. This athletic center was ill equipped to handle injuries even though this is a contact sport. Their first aid kit did not contain ice packs to provide basic first aid. This is not the first occurrence with poor game management and refereeing by the assigned official. Having been involved with soccer for many years and having a husband who is a certified referee this brings up the question of what level of proficiency the officials associated with this establishment actually possess?
