The new sheet rock on ceiling and wall has all tape lines visible and screws popping through. The pre finished flooring was damaged by them, they left the painters tape on so long that once removed took finish off and 26 plus nails erupting through floor boards. Mike had his floor guy Matt look at and assured us they would replace flooring where needed, Mike said he was working with a person at LL flooring. They also screwed up the 6 new windows they installed. They used the wrong type and color caulking and left wide gaps under windows instead of using proper pieces and tried to correct with caulking. Again Mike said would correct the caulking mess and wrong color. He also screwed up the grout on tile and granite, he failed to use caulking and was going to fix that too. I followed up with him after waiting for the flooring fix and found out he never contacted anyone from LL Flooring. The plumbers he used had to fix several issues, Ie., dishwasher not secured and leak under new sink installed, they also damaged some cabinets and was told He would speak to Cabine place for options and credit me based on my decision. Spoke to Cabinet place found out he never reached out to them. Buyer beware! He moved on to a Big Project in Kinnelon NJ. He said he was done with me. Don't trust this company, they are dishonest and unskilled. Zero stars.

We first met with them and scheduled our job and then had to postpone it for a couple of years after giving them a deposit. Bob returned our deposit even though he didn't have to. When we were once again ready, we didn't hesitate to give them our business. We are extremely happy with the quality of the work and the speed of it. Our bathroom was gutted on May 29 and completed on July 2, 2019. The only thing still to come is the custom shower enclosure. Chris coordinated all the moving parts and was here every day to work and to oversee anything that he didn't do himself (which was not much). He even went the extra mile and tested (and cleaned out!) our drains after installing the sink. This issue had nothing to do with the work he did; it was an existing problem. NJ Remodelers was recommended to us by a friend, and we would gladly recommend them for a kitchen or a bath remodel. We needed help with some of the unusual aspects of the design and Bob fit the bill by giving us lots of options from his years of experience. They are honest, trustworthy, and very communicative at every step of the project. Chris made sure we were satisfied with everything--a trait that I have not seen before with the many contractors I have hired over the years. Every day, Chris was a pleasure to work with due to his cheerful attitude and the fact that he really enjoys his job. He went over everything he had done and was going to do each day. He put up with all my nit-picking without complaint and delivered a beautiful bathroom in a challenging, small space. NJR is generous about passing their contractor's discount along to their customers for tile, fixtures, and anything else that they can buy at a lower price, so the cost is very reasonable and fair. They recommend suppliers who they have relationships with and know are reliable. Chris knows how to keep the project running as smoothly as possible. You won't be sorry if you choose this family business!

I even repeated the request as we also just had our master bedroom carpets professionally steam cleaned. They said their boots were clean, and I felt bad as the dad's back was obviously an issue as he used a cane and asked in advance over phone how many stairs there were. Went over a few small quick projects, they said they could do it right away and would get back to me quickly with a quote. I waited, and waited, and five days later I finally reached out to them. Nearly 10 hours later they send me a copy/paste email response that they got a job they bid on and won't be free again until September. It was early November when they came to my house. I can only imagine what kind of service they provide if there were issues with their work on the backend if this is their front end. Highly disappointed in their business etiquette, but perhaps it's a blessing in disguise. Please note that I originally posted a one star rating as I was furious and disappointed in how we were left out in the cold to now have to rush during the holidays (Thanksgiving is in two days) to find a reputable company. The reason for my updating to three stars is simply for the fact that the father had written the attached apology following receipt of my response to them echoing similar disappointment and disapproval in how they mismanaged communication on this.
