Do not go here this place sucks. The people are rude and Talked to my wife and I like we are trash.They didn't tighten my oil filter on all the way and the oil was slowly coming out and I had no idea and my engine blew up,and they refuse to do the right thing. I dropped my car off with a full tank of gas they stole all of my fuel. Then also they sprayed the hood of my car with something and it's eating all the paint off the hood and on top of it all someone was relaxing in my car listening to the spa channel and putting there boots on my dash there was sand all over my dash and when we turned the ac on we were blasted in the face with sand.Then on the inside of my windshield they sprayed some kind of oily residue all over the inside of my windshield. They completely destroyed my car,and will not honor what they said to have it fixed. I have lost my job because of these people now I have no income whatsoever my bills are stacking up I have 6 kids that have missed a lot of school and these people don't care one bit. We can go to jail if they miss too much school and we have an autistic so that requires physical therapy 3 days a week and he has missed therapy for 3 weeks now because of all of this and with autistic children,when they miss therapy they start going backwards,and now the physical therapist is threatening to drop him as a patient if he doesn't start coming again and it's very hard to find a therapist that works well with an autistic child because the child has to be okay with the therapist so we are going thru so much now because of this. They told us to bring in 1 oil change receipt and hey would fix the car and we did so and they said because the place forgot to put the mileage down on the receipt that they wouldn't accept it,and they did this after telling us to have our insurance company tow our vehicle to Bob Steele and for me to ride with the driver and bring that receipt and they would get the car into service and send me home in a courtesy vehicle but nope I was turned away once again over the mileage not being on the oil change receipt although it had all the information to our vehicle and it even had the vin number on it but yet they still told me no and sent me home. Like it was our fault that the place didn't put down the mileage on the receipt. Also if you try to call to speak to any of the managers they have their secretaries lie to you and tell you they are in meetings. One of these meetings were supposedly going to last 6 hours. That sounds more like a discrepancy with a jury trying to come up with a verdict. Do not go to Bob Steele Chevrolet they are the most unprofessional and rude people we have ever dealt with in our lives. They made my wife cry everyday for a week and are extremely heartless and they do not care.You want good service go to Rosner Chevrolet in Melbourne. They are the best and they are so nice and helpful they are going fix my car,and as for the actual GM customer service department it is amazing as well. They have been very helpful with us,so please don't disregard Chevy at all because of this review because it's only this particular dealership that is terrible. I had taken my 2010 chevy camaro SS to these clowns because the last company that tried to repair my car couldnt seem to get it right. After the 3rd time I figured I would take it to an actual chevy dealership to get it done right. My car was in an accident with a garbage truck. My insurance was paying for it. The first time I took my car to this body shop at Bob Steele my adjuster gave me the ok. The body shop told me to bring it in on thursday which i did, they didnt touch my car thursday, or friday. When I called them they said they havent started on it yet. Well, since i was renting a car i went back to the dealership and demanded my car back because they dont work weekends and i didnt want to pay for the rental over the weekend since my car was just sitting there. When i got there it was still sitting in the same spot it was when i left it there. I told them i would bring it back on monday morning. Monday rolled around and i took my car there before they even opened. The bodyshop girl named katie told me that they couldn't reach geico concerning my car so they wouldn't be able to take it at that time. I was upset to say the least, I called my adjuster and she told me that katie was suppose to call me to set up a new appointment. Well, she never called so I called her. She told me that her next available appointment was not for another month. What could I do.... I said ok. My appointment finally rolled around and I took my car there. I left it there and was told it would take about a week to do. After a week went by I called them and they said they were working on it. Then about half way into the following week I called them and asked what was going on. Katie told me that they fixed my front nose cone, they where removing the orange peel, and also said was reattaching my spoiler because it was falling off. I then asked her what about the side marker light they were supposed to replace. She said it was on order and they haven't received it yet. After I got off the phone with her I called the parts department at the same dealership and asked if they had the side marker light in stock. The parts guy said yes. I asked him how long it has been in stock and he said for a long time. So she flat out lied to me about it. I was pissed so I went to the dealership to retrieve my car done or not. Come to find out that they did nothing to the car..... Ive been renting for a week and half and they have done zero to my car. These people are liars and frauds. Im not done with them yet. Upon arrival to the dealership my wife and I were greeted by David Seymour. We explained to David what we were looking for and our situation and he showed us around. After walking the lot for a while we didn't see anything that really grabbed our attention. My wife mentioned to David that she had seen a vehicle listed online and asked if we could see it. After David looked it up we found out that it was located at their Melbourne location but we decided to do the paperwork on it and then they would bring it to the Cocoa location. After a little bit of negotiations we could not reach an agreement on price so David mentioned another vehicle that was located at the Merritt Island store. He showed us the vehicle online and we liked it so they sent someone to go and pick it up. While they were getting the other vehicle they let us borrow a car to go and get a bite to eat. By the time we made it back to the dealership the car was ready for a test drive. The vehicle was exactly as they described so we made a deal. The whole team was very courteous, accommodating and professional. At no time did I feel pressured to purchase anything. I made an agreement online that included our trade in. Two reasons why I chose Bob Steele. One, your hours...you're open more days and longer hours than your competitors. I could have gone to Orlando, but who wants to do that if you live in Brevard County? I could have gone to Melbourne as well, but my point is, I didn't have to...It may be rough at times to work those hours, but your customers appreciate it. Second, I told the sales team what I was willing to pay, and although the management staff was too cheap to tint two windows, I was overall please with our agreement. Johnnie, a member of your sales team is the type of salesman a customer wants, relaxed, low-pressure, and confident in that he will find and provide you with what you want. The other moments in buying/leasing a car are not so enjoyable, but run the course no matter where you do your car shopping, so its superfluous to mention those. My daughter and i have been researching and comparing online for a little over a month before walked into Bob Steele with the soul purpose of only test driving. If only Nikolai, our sales fella, knew was he was getting into. Without waiving or passing us on to another sales associate, Nikolai took on our challenge. He not only maintained a positive, friendly, and supportive attitude, he joined us on two test drives. Nikolai held strong as did I. In the end, we were able to negotiate a fair deal and my soon to be 16 year old daughter was over the moon with delight! Took my car in for a regular oil change and informed them that the car still sounds like it's running after I turn it off (this is the 4th time with the same problem). I was given a hour wait time so I stayed at the facility. After 2 hours I asked what was taking so long and was informed that the mechanic hadn't gotten to my car yet and it'll be awhile before he does?? I was offered a ride home or to just allow him to put oil in it so I can go. I was livid at their lack of consideration of my time. A shuttle eventually dropped me off. I'm disappointed to say that I attempted to call several times and was given the run around so once I went up there I spoke to a manager and she called to see why my car still wasn't ready 6 1/2 hours later... Finally I get the car and it DOESN'T surprise me my car is still having the same problem, so basically it was at the service center 6 1/2 hours for a oil change. The service adviser who I spoke with was not available when I showed up. The vehicle was serviced in a timely manner. Several hours after I returned home with the vehicle, I got a call from another service adviser stating that my vehicle was done and ready to be picked up. Really? How did you not know that I had left with my vehicle after it was finished?!?!?! He also asked if my service adviser had mentioned that I needed rear brake pads. He did not. Also, I noticed on a report that the adviser who checked me out (a different adviser than the one who checked me in) threw away, that it seemed my tires were out of alignment, but no one ever mentioned this to me, nor was it on any paperwork I was given. Lastly, the vehicle has seemed to shift 'oddly' ever since I had it serviced for a transmission fluid exchange. read more

I was so impressed with the friendly people through out the store. Chris Amos delivered top notch service when I was searching for a new car. When I was not able to locate the exact care he was there to help me place an order and have it custom made for me. During the month it took for the car to be built and delivered Chris stayed in contact and kept me updated on the progress.
