I gave a Toyota Prius to my daughter last year with well over 200K miles on it. A few weeks ago, when she started having problems with the car (running rough, misfiring) I recommended Triangle. Their mechanics put $1100 into the car (spark plugs, ignition coil, etc.) but unfortunately, didn't bother to check another totally possible reason for the car running rough, a number one cylinder that radiator fluid was leaking into) They gave the car back to her, said it was repaired. She immediately noticed the problem was not repaired. When she contacted Triangle and asked them if they had test drove it before giving it back to her they said yes. Why didn't they see the gorilla in the room? (bad #1 cylinder) Did they really test drive it? I paid to have the car towed to a mechanic in titusville that I Implicityly trust to do thorough work. The problem they found: radiator fluid in #1 cylinder due to either bad head gasket or cracked cylinder. Fixing that problem would not have been worth it, given the age and mileage on the car. Certainly not worth putting $1100. into the car for ignition coil and plugs when the #1 cylinder is fouled. This is by far the worst experience I've ever had with a garage. Someone wasn't paying attention, and it cost us. All they had to do was be a little more thorough and then we could have had a conversation about what to do with the car, before spending $1100 + $179 towing, and another $400 for further diagnostics on a second opinion. read more

This place told me a price 185.00 on labor with my new parts from AutoZones, So I had to wait 3 days for appointment while i was driving with bad brakes then i left the car with them....they called me 20 mins later telling me that i need dealership parts for my car and it's gonna COSTS me 2800.00.....this is VERY BAD business....I will NEVER ever use them, VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! We were traveling from Myrtle Beach to Key West, a belt began Whining about 200 miles into the trip, Ultimately it was the AC Compressor which I suspected and they confirmed. Saturday traveling to Sebastian my engine light in my car went on and my car was shaking. I was advised to pull over and not drive it. I had it towed to the Honda Dealership in Palm Bay where they presented me with an estimate of $5897.29. After listening to mush nonsense. I had GEICO tow me to Triangle Auto. My car was assessed within hours and fixed, no nonsense! They were honest and helpful and it was such a relief that my repair was under $200.00. They were very knowledgeable and immediately understood the codes that the diagnostic machine was producing. I will never step foot at a Honda dealership again!! read more

They treated me like a fool. I dropped my car off at the 520 location and walked to the mall to wait. They drove my car to the sykes creek location and deemed it "undrivable" and refused to tow it back to the location i dropped it off at. I had to take a cab to get to my car. They quoted me $2300 and said it wouldnt make it off the lot. I got in and cranked it right up and drove away fine. Drove to another mechanic who quoted me $900 and said they had no reason to say they couldnt bring it back to me. They tried to hold my car hostage and play me like a fool. read more

There are few things more important than an honest auto repair shop. Marcus, at Triangle auto is one. We are from Wisconsin and spend winters in Cocoa Beach. Two years ago our AC went out as soon as we got there and I started searching for a repair shop. The reviews for Triangle seemed fine so I took my car there. After several days and a lot of money they fixed the car and went out of there way to accommodate our vacation needs. This year the AC failed again and I took it back. Marcus agreed to honor the repairs even though it was beyond the 12 month warranty time. As always I was a different problem so he fixed it quickly and got our car going. As we were going home the AC failed at the Georgia line and I called Marcus. He gave me some ideas and again agreed to honor his work. We got home and our mechanic found that the part that Marcus installed was defective and they replaced it. I called Marcus and he immediately agreed to refund the repair costs and apologized for the inconvenience. No hassle, no run around no ripping off someone from out of state. He has my business and he should have yours. read more

I took my daughters car in to have the spark plugs replaced, as its a front wheel drive car, my hands are too big to get to the rear plugs. one hour labor, okay. shop fee! what the ! Now here's the kicker, I've worked on cars all my life and have never had spark plugs cost $12.00 each for this car! what the hell! everywhere else in the known universe sells these plugs for $6.99. It would have been better if the guy had just said "Listen, we're going to bend you over on the price of the plugs because we can" I can respect that, at least it's honest. I reviewed Ray's Tire Center next door a couple of weeks ago and as luck would have it I needed a battery today so I called Triangle Auto located right next door, owned by the same folks. Shannon at the front desk made me feel welcome and I was treated fairly once again by Marcus. They promptly diagnosed the problem, replaced the battery for a fair price, and got me back on the road. Triangle Auto on N. Banana River Dr ripped me off on an electrical problem I had. They told me it was one thing and I had them fix it for $200, no parts just labor and it didn't fix the problem. Now they tell me to fix the problem it will cost me another $800-1000 more! I guess this is how you learn who is honest and who is not. I would NOT recommend this place to fix anything! Now without any extra troubleshooting they know that will fix the problem, really? I would agree with Chris G. and they did treat me as a fool. read more
