Here is an example...Recently my mother in law had a virtual appointment scheduled at 4 PM. We wait until 5 PM, still no call. I called them to follow up on this appointment and was told by the front desk staff that their doctors are still seeing patients and will call us when they're available. When asked why given us the appointment at 4 PM, when you can't honor it, the staff said their doctors told them to schedule every appointment 10 minutes apart. Then she said if I have a problem with it then I need to take it up with their doctors. I told her that this office has been doing this for years, how can they not notice the problem. But she kept telling me to take it up with their doctors instead. My mother in law is stubborn, as with most of the other elderly asian patients, they just want to stick with 1 doctor who can speak Vietnamese, and this place is it. And she had been here for years since she was still healthy and young back then. So hence she doesn't want to switch primary care doctor. It doesn't matter if you made an appointment in person or virtual, they're always at least 1 hour late. I, personally, used to go here as well, but not anymore after so many delays in treatments/appointments. I want to warn the rest of the new patients that unless you have plenty of time to wait every time you need to see the doctor here, don't go here. They only care about money... more appointments/visits means more money from insurance for them. This goes against the practice of a true doctor. And they have no respect for the patients or the patients' families time.

He gets refills done quick when I need them and most of the time I don't have to go into the office to pick up my scrips. One of the few doctors that saves paper and is helpful at finding the most cost effective ways of getting me my medication. Whenever I see him he makes certain that we touched all bases and nothing else can be done with the current visit. After seeing him for nearly 6 or 7 years, I had a life changing event and he takes even more time just to listen and make sure that he is providing the best care possible and by spending the extra minute, he once again will make sure that there isn't anything more he can do to make my life better. Although he does take insurance, he doesn't rush like most doctors to the 6 patients an hour that is required for most doctors accepting insurance. If something requires more time and attention, he will make time to help. He makes me feel comfortable about talking about even the most embarrassing issues and dealing with the situation in the most dignified manner. Finally, when he doesn't know exactly the right treatment he will refer to someone that is more knowledgeable in the field that the ailment requires. We see things the same way about drugs, meaning less is more. He doesn't have that mentality that "there isn't anything my prescription pad cannot cure". It's more of a less drugs is healthier in the long run. Plus, his signage inside every room is great. Check the pictures! So those people "shopping" for doctors this isn't your guy for getting your fix he's a doctor, not a drug pusher/dealer. I've never had any trouble getting an appointment relatively quickly. Wait times are not long in my experience. Minuses: Some things he does not seem to be super knowledgeable on, that in my mind a PCP should be solidly up on. For example, vaccinations. I let him know I'd like to get up to date with vaccinations and he insisted that adults don't need them. Suspecting that this was not altogether correct, I went to CVS Minute Clinic and they were able to provide me with a CDC list and give the boosters and vaccinations that have become standard since I was born (Hep B, A).I realize that travel vaccinations are a totally different ballgame, but with basic childhood vaccinations I would think he'd be in the know. I get the impression that retirement is near and that he may not be as sharp as he once was, although I have been seeing him for only a couple of years. I don't know that I would return to him if I were having a serious ailment as some of the things he's said have sounded off (as in, contrary to everything other doctors & the internet have told me) but for regular checkups he has always seemed very thorough and pleasant!

Everyone at the downtown location is very courteous and fast, and friendly. I've hit the Urgent care 3 times and always been seen very quickly. All that aside though, Dr. Falquier rocks. That doctor wasn't accepting new patients but Dr. Falquier was, and boy am I thankful for that. Finding a good doctor is always tough, and after a couple of false starts, I'm really happy that I found her. She's totally on the ball, makes you feel comfortable, genuinely seems to care (imagine that!), and is funny to boot. I love Dr. Falquier, and highly recommend her for anyone looking for a new primary care physician.
