Very cool location! The decor inside is based on a train station (chew chew- get it?)- I certainly did not get that reference before coming in! The place is new and extremely cute. They've been supposedly open since April and I'm shocked there wasn't a business up yet. I'm pretty sure this place replaced Lollicup since the location and the menu is pretty much the same. Service was great, I got my drink instantly since there was nobody else. I got a large jasmine milk tea with less ice and mini boba. The jasmine tea was very nicely brewed and the mini boba was perfectly cooked. My first impression at this boba shop was the flower gates inside the store. The table that I sat down had window view, which made me feel like I was in a train. Such a cute & unique boba shop! The train theme is on brand throughout the whole store but not in a tacky way. It is a really well taken care of shop with the tables & floors being really clean. I ordered the oolong tea & thought it was a sweet gesture of them offering me to try a sample to test the sweetness level. My boyfriend really enjoyed the matcha cheesecake with saying it wasn't overly sweet either. Only thing, I wish there were more than two booths to sit & or study in. THEY HAVE MINI BOBA !!!!!!!! I love this place. When I first came here it was during winter and they had super cute Christmas decorations. My cousin told me about this place, so we came together after class. The first thing I saw were the decorations but then I noticed the drinks. They had my favorite, jasmine milk tea. So my cousin and I ordered that. Now let me tell you, I love trying boba at different cafes/ tea shops. I love boba, but what I love more is mini boba. So every boba place I go to, I ask if they have mini boba as a topping. (Side note: If you haven't had mini boba you don't know what you're missing. Ok it's not that big of a deal but I prefer it, and I prefer to drink it with a big straw.) My point is, I asked if they had it, they had it! Rarely anywhere has it to be honest, so no surprise there if you haven't tried mini boba yet. I no longer have to drive all the way to Rowland heights to get mini boba at the Quickly out there. Aaaand, their boba at boba chew chew is soft and perfect! Now let's talk about the food and why I gave this place a five star review. Their chew chew chicken, is bomb, delicious; soft yet a little crunchy, and juicy on the inside. I have tried spicy levels of hot, mild, and medium. The medium spicy was my favorite level of spicy for the popcorn chicken. My cousin really liked the mozzarella sticks, I haven't tried the fries or anything else yet. But I mean damn they got the chicken down right and the drinks are great, just take my money. I'm obsessed with this place and I tell my fiancé that I want boba chew chew all the time. I've ordered it for delivery a few times too, even though it's close to me. I just can't get enough of it. My cousin also tried their matcha cheesecake drink and she said it was actually really good. She said it that way because she said, "I love matcha and I love cheesecake but I don't know about this combo," and she was pleasantly surprised. So if you're not sure if you should try this place, try it. The chicken is how I expect all tea house spicy popcorn chicken to be, the tea has an amazing jasmine flavor that is not watered down by the other ingredients in the milk tea. The boba is soft. The drink prices are not too expensive, they come in one large size. I will add pictures if I remember not to eat and drink everything, sorry. Downsides to the parking. It can be a busy parking lot and not a whole lot of parking but enough I believe. It's in the same little shopping center as a gas station, a bunch of foodie options, and a Jack in the box. It's small inside the shop, so there's seating but not for big groups. They open at 11 :( which is fine because at least their boba is ready to go. Overall, this place is my new favorite boba place, and I have three that are less than five minutes from my house that I would not order from if I could order boba boba chew chew. Super tasty drinks! Got the black lemon ice tea and the brown sugar milk with mini boba! I never had mini boba before so it was a shock when I drank like 15 mini bobas at once but it was delightful! I also got the mozzarella sticks and chew chew chicken, the mozzarella sticks were yummy! And the chew chew chicken was different I was expecting a fried popcorn chicken like every boba shop but this one was different as if it was maybe pan fried instead, but it was super good we got the hottest you can. It was nice kick of heat but it does linger be warned but we loved the flavor of it and it's uniqueness! We will definitely be back here since it's closer than any other boba shop and this one has good pricing and good tasting drinks and food :) we also got a free hand sanitizer after spending 15$ just a fun little perk. read more

Adorable boba shop! Tons of drink options, and toppings. Toppings don't cost extra! The milk teas unless it is fresh milk, is all made with nondairy creamer and there are no other milk substitutes. This boba/drink shop is really cute! I like how it's travel (?) themed and atmosphere is nice so perfect for meeting up with someone at. There's a good amount of drink options and they allow you to customize ice and sugar levels. I've ordered the regular milk tea with boba and passion fruit green tea before. Ordered the dalgona milk tea the first time I went and really liked it. I went again and ordered a matcha cheesecake for my mom to try out. She felt something crunchy and pulled an insect with wings out her mouth. This was the first sip right after she opened their can style tops. She poured the rest of the drink through a strainer and found pieces of insects inside. You can clearly see the wing in the attached photos. The Thai tea is VERY good at this new boba spot. I also got the brown sugar milk tea and it was good but I enjoyed the thai tea more. I really liked the interior decor and the train station theme. However, one thing I did notice is that there is only two small seating booths so it is more of a "grab and go" spot, others seemed like they wanted to sit but there just wasn't room sadly. I went to this boba shop due to rating, but was sorely disappointed. The store itself was cute and the barista was friendly. Unfortunately, the teas tasted very artificial and the boba was not QQ despite the name. Everyone in our group wanted to toss their drink especially after I got a drink at BenGong's next door and they tried mine. I wouldn't say BenGong was amazing, but certainly a lot better than Boba Chew Chew. I should have paid attention and noticed all the customers fluent in Chinese were at BenGong's and not Boba Chew Chew. In the future, that will help me decide where to get boba when I am at a new location. EDIT: In response to the owner's reply, I don't know who the other people are who gave you 1-star review. I am not going to go in for a refund as I know it's hard to run a small business and your staff didn't do anything wrong. I said everyone wanted to toss the drink, but I didn't say they did. We paid a lot of money for the drinks. I do want you to know we really did go in. We went in on 03/13/24 and your Square payment method lists Grandsac Teazone LLC. We had a lot of boba that week, but I believe that receipt was for your store and I know we ordered from your store. I did decide to bump up the review to two stars because you obviously care. I think maybe this type of tea just isn't for me and perhaps I am just pickier now having spent an extended period of time in Taiwan recently. For example, we prefer real taro and not the powder. You obviously have a high rating and this is what led us to your store in the first place. I don't think one review will change your rating at all. This was my second time to eat and enjoy they're delicious drinks! The drink containers were redesigned with a soda top and soda plastic body (I hope that makes sense ). Reason why I came here was because I was craving chicken curry and I knew that had it. It didn't let me down! So good and I wanted more. The drink I got was great too! I had the mango green tea with boba...it was refreshing! I was offered the stamp card and I typically don't get those because I always lose them but I know I'm gonna be a frequent customer.
