We visited here because I heard they have daily specials. This gem use to be Lollicup. Same management but I'm glad they're independent now. Parking: They're located in a large yet busy plaza. Finding a spot can be a hit or miss. Ambiance/Environment: I absolutely love the interior! Super clean and bright. They have a medium sized space with a decent amount of indoor seating. You're literally transported to a London train station. Peep all the details! I was also told the luggage is actually from London! Service: Shout out to Sam and Nolan! Sam was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave us their most popular recommendations & some tips about the drinks. Nolan was courteous, quick, & efficient! Food & drinks: Their daily specials alternate everyday at a constant price of $8.95. We visited on a Wednesday night, and they had their tofu + milk tea or Thai tea special. I'm not a tofu fan, but we decided to try their other foods. 1) Matcha cheesecake - My favorite! The matcha is sweet, and the cheesecake foam was sooo good! 2) Thai milk tea w/ boba - I really enjoyed this! There was an equal amount of tea and creamer. It was more on the sweeter side, but you can adjust the sweetness level. 3) Milk tea w/ boba - This tasted as expected. Can't mess up a basic milk tea. I got regular boba, and it wasn't too chewy. 4) Orange Creamsicle - This was shockingly not orange lol. The taste reminded me of a cream soda. It's perfect when you pair it with a savory food item. 5) Blueberry yogurt - Yummm! It tasted exactly as it sounds. The blueberry flavor definitely came through, and the consistency wasn't too thick. 6) Cookie butter cold brew - I'm not a cold brew person either bc I don't like watered down coffee. This was actually decent. I heavily mixed the cookie butter, and it gave it some flavor. 7) Mozzarella sticks - The cheese pull went crazy. If you love cheese, this is the perfect appetizer for you. 8) Gyozas - These were pan seared and filled with meat. The outer portion was very crispy. 9) Chicken & fries - Popcorn chicken served with crinkled fries. They don't season it, so make sure you ask for some spice. I sprinkled the spicy seasoning all over the chicken & fries. I wished they hand tossed it. 10) Bulgogi fries - Sooo cheesy and delicious! The bulgogi sat on the crinkled fries with a generous amount of cheese on top. 11) Chew Chew Katsu - My favorite dish! The katsu was absolutely crispyyy. There was a generous amount of rice & lettuce. Make sure to dip! The creamy mayo sauce was our fav! Pricing: Average prices for boba nowadays $$. I really like the theme. The drinks are fun and sweet. The food was perfect as snacks but could use some seasoning.

What a cute boba place! I was intrigued by the name when I was driving past it and decided to give it a try. The inside decor is tastefully designed and executed. Love the curvy seat that can fit many people. Cool place to hang out with friends! I ordered the Strawberry & Banana Slush and Daily Special (I came on a Monday, so it was Cheese Sticks and Milk Tea or Thai Tea). I don't like my drinks to be too sweet so for both drinks I specifically asked for 50% sugar. The milk tea was fine but the strawberry & banana slush was exceedingly too sweet. I had to pour in some water and mix it to make it less sweet but of course it ruined the structure and taste. The cheese sticks were ok. The staffs were courteous. They were busy making the orders of a few customers before me and when they saw me in front of the cashier, they approached me and asked for me to wait for a bit. The place looks clean and well maintained.

I finally tried Boba Chew Chew on a Saturday night around 8 PM. We weren't super hungry, so we just got small stuff--Bulgogi Rice, popcorn chicken, and fries. The Chicken Katsu was already sold out, which kinda sucked. We got Matcha Milk Tea with oat milk, and Strawberry Dairy-Free Milk Tea. They both were weak and barely had any flavor. The food was okay but nothing special--even though we live 3 minutes away, it was lukewarm by the time we got home. The Bulgogi Rice and popcorn chicken looked plain, like something from a grocery store freezer. The fries were basic, just regular fries. The café itself is cute and fun for photos, but it's not family-friendly--no high chairs or bathroom, so we had to take our food to go. Overall, it was overpriced especially for the drinks, and not that good. I wouldn't go back unless I just wanted a place to hang out for pics.

I love the concept of this boba shop! super cute and esthetically beautiful inside. Prices are okay. They also have small snacks and personally the popcorn chicken is my favorite. They used to put the drinks in a "can" type of cup which is one of my favorite things about this place but I guess that changed bc now it's regular cups, but the taste is just as good Quick service and I've never had to wait in line to order (:

What a cute establishment Boba Chew Chew is! I've been coming to this place on and off, and the drinks here are pretty tasty! I usually stick with my usual milk tea, and match milk teas as they're my favorite! The staff here is very friendly, and this place offers both self serve tablets, as well as in person ordering. There's plenty of parking in this plaza, so accessing the store shouldn't be an issue! Definitely give them a try if you have any boba cravings! They also serve food as well!

My final review of 2024 goes to Boba Chew Chew, the cutest little boba shop tucked away in a strip mall near the local college. It's easy to see why it's so popular with the college crowd. The ambiance here is what really stands out to me--it feels like you're in a cozy train station, which adds such a unique charm to the experience. I tried the Thai Tea with boba, and while it was absolutely delicious, I do wish they offered more size options. At over $7 for just one size, it's a bit on the pricey side. Overall, though, it's a lovely spot.

This review is so overdue! I love going to Boba Chew Chew. They have the best cheese foam. Their drinks used to be served in soda-like containers. During my last visit, I saw that they have an upcharge if you want a soda can container. The inside is very aesthetically pleasing. There are lots of areas where you can take pictures. They have a couple of tables and a long snake-like bench where you can enjoy your drink. I have tried a variety of drinks but my favorite are the lavender and jasmine milk teas with cheese foam. Sometimes it is busy. However, I haven't waited more than ten minutes for a few drinks. They have a punch card system if you visit often. Give them a try if you are in the area!

Cute spot with convenient parking. I stopped by for a quick boba grab with my boyfriend but watch out because getting a drink was not quick if that's what you're looking for. There were only two orders ahead of us, with one of the couples already waiting when we got there. It definitely felt like we were waiting close to 15mins for our drinks if not more. Now, I think because they make everything fresh, it does take longer, but I wasn't expecting that for what we ordered. They only had two people working, one of which was taking orders, so maybe that's why. There's some seating but only two booths if you want something more comfy or cute from an aesthetics standpoint. I think the drinks are good but didn't amaze me. That plus the long-ish wait nets this place at 4 stars.

Check out this fire boba spot across from Mt. Sac! They've got awesome daily specials Monday to Friday where you can snack on classic boba cafe faves like popcorn chicken or squid balls and grab a drink for just $8.95! I got the pleasure of visiting Boba Chew Chew a few times. I've never had trouble with parking but I can see it may be a challenge during weekends or during prime time hours. There is no restroom. Cafe has great aesthetics and is so adorably welcoming!!!! Customer service has always had great vibes, no matter who the barista is. I've always enjoyed my conversations when I visit! So thank you for taking the time to talk to a customer!!! The coffees I ordered here, Vietnamese and Thai Tea coffees have been soooooo ridiculously good!!! I also ordered the popcorn chicken and mozzarella sticks - both good, I'd like to try their other food options! Thanks for offering such a great cafe experience!

it's a train station themed boba tea shop across from Mt Sac. The decor is clean without clutter. The set up is cute. They have different selection of tea and fruit slushes. The service is good. The wait time was reasonable. The dalgona milk tea was unique, tasted almost like dalgona coffee. I'm not so sure about other drinks. Some are just milk tea with syrup. The topping I had was mini bobas, they were not over nor under cooked; provided tender chewy texture. The drinks are slightly on the expensive side but acceptable. Overall, it gets a 4.5 out of 5.

Found this place on Yelp and was intrigued to come because of the decor. I was originally going to just order drinks but the food looked good. I ordered the Thai Iced Tea Slush with boba, Ice Caramel Latte Mocha, Watermelon Slush, chew chew chicken, and French fries. Thai Iced Tea Slush with boba : very good Ice Caramel Latte Mocha : To sweet for me & I like sweet Watermelon Slush : very very fresh and refreshing to drink Chew chew chicken : best popcorn chicken I have ever had Fries: also very good and the season was perfect I absolutely loved the decorations and the concept of this place. They put a lot of time and thought into this and I love it. The staff was great and everything was so clean. 10/10

They have lunch specials now, M-F from 11am-5pm for only $8.95! All Drinks are 50% off during this time on Thursdays and Fridays with the lunch special. So cool. Glad they did this as there's plenty of competition around, but I choose them still.

Boba Chew Chew was recommended to us by a friend. My daughter is a boba pro so she is always up for trying a new boba place. Boba Chew Chew did not disappoint. The decor is fun and is cleverly themed. The staff is super helpful and customer service oriented. The drinks are served in a VERY cool cup with a sealed soda can top. We loved that! But all of that alone wouldn't compel me to return. The drinks were deeeeeelish! My boba pro daughter stated it was the best milk tea boba she has ever had. My wife had milk tea and said it was the best SHE ever had. I had a peach iced tea and drank most of it before I got out of the parking lot. I have high hopes for this new boba spot and plan on revisiting soon. Enjoy! read more

Miki like's I have been visiting this spot for sometime and day-in and day-out the service and the food has always been hands down the best I have ever experience. With that said, the food my god, it's to die for just the chew chew chicken is my shit. Super hot stuff for those that the like spicy meals and Chick-fil-A type chicken. read more

Very cute store! I loved all the train, decor and floral decorations. The customer service was also very stellar. I ordered 2 drinks. One lavender milk tea drink with honey boba, and one eclipse with mini boba. I personally thought my mini boba/ milk tea drink was not to my taste. The milk tea had a stronger milk flavor than tea as flavor. I wished I tasted more tea flavor. And my mini boba was not as chewy as i expected. However the regular boba from the lavender milk tea was very chewy! But overall the store was very cute. I loved the whole "chew chew" train concept. read more

Stayed in the whole afternoon in Boba Chew Chew, their design is awesome. The whole room is like a station platform. I really love the baby blue color and their drinks, but boba taste not so good, maybe need to improve it. Also, restroom in Boba Chew Chew is employment only. I really like this place but I got my drink and they said that the black dot was a seed... how is a drink that requires no fruit able to have a seed, even if it did, only a single seed in the drink ? I didn't get a new drink at the time, last night, because it was dark and I took their word for it, thinking, sure it's a seed. Now that I look at it, it looks like lint from someone's sweater to me. AMAZING! I had the lychee black tea with honey boba and it was sooo good. The entire aesethic is so unique and welcoming. The staff was also super kind(: My girlfriend got a mocha drink with boba which is not something I thought would even be an option but it was delicious. Great boba place with interesting packaging. You can easily store it inside the fridge for two days. But there's one thing that's really different from other boba places, they have different amount of sugar in different drinks, so double check how sweet it is by regular before you try new drinks. So far from my experience, jasmine milk tea has very small amount of sugar. For people can't take too much sugar like me, regular sugar level is perfect. But since the toppings, especially bobas are really sweet, I always go for 75% with boba. And the royal milk tea is super sweet, so I need it to be 25% sugar level. I would really like to choose 10% sugar level with boba for royal milk tea if they have that option. Again, bobas are super sweet. read more

I love this place. They staff is always friendly, even when they are busy. My go to is a milk tea with boba and cheese foam or Thai Tea Slush with boba. They chew chew chicken and fries are delicious. I like that we can adjust the spicy level. The milk tea and Thai tea is not too sweet so it's perfect. That boba has great flavor and the decor is so cute. It's perfect for those that like to post on social media. I sometimes order through the phone and they always get my order right. I go often as I work across the street. Definitely now want to go tomorrow after writing this. Highly recommend if you're in the area. read more

Swung by because I was craving boba & found this super cute spot! The theme really spoke to me as a traveler and everything about this shop was just top notch!! This might be the cutest themed boba shop I've ever seen. My boyfriend and I ordered a matcha milk tea (50% sweet, no ice, with mini boba) and a taro milk tea (30% sweet, 50% ice, mini boba, and egg nog pudding). Not only is this place so aesthetically pleasing with it's London Train Station theme, but the drinks were genuinely delicious. I really liked the egg nog pudding so I'd recommend trying it! I will definitely be coming back to this adorable shop often... especially since it is conveniently located so close to Mt. SAC! read more

Vibe in this place is nice, presentation of the drinks is nice. The drinks were good, but I won't be back. It's a boba place and you have to pay extra to get boba in your drink? It's only $0.60, but at about $6 a drink I'd expect boba to be in the drink at the place called boba chew chew. My kids 2 slushes with boba came out to $15. If you don't mind the bit of extra cost then it's ok, but we are a big family so I have to be mindful of spending. read more

boba chew chew was really good! I got their dalgona milk tea with mango jelly and the drink was amazing. Using dalgona coffee whipped cream as the foam is a pretty innovative idea. The cream top was smooth and the drink itself was also delicious. I got half sweet and the sweetness was just right. They also have a pretty wide selection of toppings to choose from and I think the mango jelly was pretty good, the dalgona milk tea's strong flavor profile kind of covered the mango jelly taste so I would stick to normal boba if I were to get dalgona milk tea again. I also want to note that the decoration of this boba shop was very nice. I liked the snake-shaped bench and the industrial lightbulb sign. read more

Came here for the first time on a Saturday evening at around 5pm. The decor on the outside and inside are super cute! Cute theme and cute uniforms for staff. Service was extremely friendly and nice. Unfortunately, I am only giving the place 3 stars due to the quality and taste of my drink. The actual look of the drink was very appealing. I ordered an almond milk tea regular sweetness and when I tasted it, it was watery and the milk tea flavor was lacking. Unfortunately, the boba quality was also really hard. I really wanted to like this place since it was so cute and service was top notch but unfortunately will not be returning since I did not enjoy my drink. read more

Not a good place to hang. The decorations were very nice and fitting with the theme, but there is a lot of empty space where there could be an expansion for seating. The drinks were decent, but made less enjoyable because there was no ventilation whatsoever. read more

I ordered the chicken chew chew and jasmine tea. The chicken smelled and tasted off. I had to drink more of my tea ( which was good) just to remove the horrible chicken taste from my mouth. I thought maybe it was just my taste buds being off, and I told my friend it tasted funny and asked if my friend could taste it also. They agreed and tried it willingly, thinking I was over exaggerating. When they ate it they agreed it tasted horrible and started to drink their drink to take the taste out of their mouth. I threw it away;thus, threw away my money. If I go back it will only be for the tea. Get your chicken somewhere else! read more

Lo and behold I found that it is actually just right across from the freeway on ramp and just 1 exit from where I needed to be. The staff here is friendly abd the drink menu is small and unique. I have always ordered the iced Amorcita which is cinnamon, vanilla and orange peel and the drink really has great flavor. I have not tried any additional drinks as of yet but they have several unique options that really set them apart. The place is quite small but has a decent amount of seating inside and out and the prices are right in line with most shops in the area. I am a fan kf this place and will be a regular going forward with at least a couple visits per week. Check them out if you want something a bit unique and are in the area.

However, there wasn't enough space for my laptop and the items I ordered. WiFi was available but it had a 90 minute limit. The store had a moderate noise level and stayed busy throughout the time that I was there. The service on the order was quick and they do bring it out to you. The store also has their own house espresso which was a medium dark roast. American Express is accepted as a payment option here. Overall, it was a decent work spot. If I come back, I'd prefer to try another drink and hope other pastries are available. Would recommend the biscoff cheesecake for those that want something sweet and the house coffee beans for those that like medium roasts.

Smoking tiger has definitely become part of my regular rotation and I can't wait to come back and try more of their seasonal drinks.

I recently visited a boba shop in Walnut, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. I ordered four drinks, but none of them were good. The boba itself was hard--not the fresh, chewy texture you'd expect--and the tea lacked any real tea flavor. To make matters worse, I came in just 30 minutes after they opened, so the boba should have been fresh, but it clearly wasn't. The service was also underwhelming. The lady working there seemed uninterested and unfriendly, as if she'd woken up on the wrong side of the bed. I will not be visiting this place again. Do not waste your money here! read more

This is a super cute place ! The staff are friendly and nice and they'll answer any questions you got about the drinks and about the place. It's really convenient since it's right across from school and that the drinks are amazing !! The interior is adorable and clean in addition to that the bottles are to die for !!! I haven't seen a bottle design like this for any boba place and this is a small business so definitely support them !! I recommend the taro milk tea and the strawberry cheesecake !! read more

The shop is beautiful. It's very clean and the staff is friendly. The drinks were well done and even though it was the end of the day the staff had the shop looking so clean. They even ask about how sweet you like it. read more

This place is extremely cute and the drinks are very good. We ordered mini pearls, brown sugar milk tea. They were absolutely amazing. I'll definitely come back again. read more
