Taro smoothie w/ boba
Victoria C.

Although not on comm ave, this is still a prime location for a boba & dessert shop especially for BU students. Right by Amory st, bubble tea, smoothies, macarons, and shaved ice awaits. I've gotten milk tea, avocado & Thai tea smoothies all of which have been good. I wouldn't say it's the best I've had, but it satisfies the boba craving. It's not a big space, but there are a couple of tables looking out if you want to hang out with friends for a bit. They have a decorative grass wall that's great for taking photos. I know I'll be back to try out the shaved ice once spring rolls around!

Good quality, clutch location, great menu. I kinda always get the same thing but it's nice to have something good nearby

I love HeyTea! Still my favorite location to go to in MA…read more I've experienced the least amount of problems here, compared to the other two (Newbury St. & Natick). PLUS, they close later than both. I have this bad habit of going here almost every time I have a meal in the area LOL. The addiction is real! I love that they keep adding new drinks to their menu... keeps it interesting. My favorite is still the Mango Coconut Boom but I'm a fan of most of their new drinks, like the Golden Oolong Yuzu & their King Jasmine Guava! I tried the Pistachio Cloud Jasmine Coconut, as well, and it's super similar to one of my favorites from MollyTea. I prefer the one from MollyTea more w/ champaca tea. Since their opening here, I have tried almost all of the drinks & their mango coconut boom is STILL superior! Highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys mango. It is pretty much their version of mango pomelo sago (they have a version with pomelo but I like it without). SO GOOD! ***Pro tip: order ahead of time via HeyTea app. This is a lifesaver, since the wait time is pretty atrocious most days still. Usually takes ~20 min to be ready.

LOVEDDDD THIS! so refreshing and perfect for pistachio lovers…read more there's typically a ~20min wait for this location but it goes by fast honestly. i recommend ordering ahead on their app to avoid a long wait

Wings are amazing and Moon Flower is one of my favorite places to go when I'm craving fried…read morechicken. Popcorn chicken used to come as a giant heap but is now a much lesser portion. Unfortunate, but understandable due to inflation. Both come out very crispy, properly seasoned, and well breaded. Pistol legs are a hilarious name, but also very good. BBQ chicken wings are not fried but have a delicious saucy glaze on the outside. Service is friendly, but to be fair, I only ever order online so interactions are short and quick. The space inside seems nice enough and there's always people there, but I've always gotten takeout. Looks like a nice spot to sit, eat, and possibly even do some work with ample space.

Rating this spot what I'm rating because the fried chicken dishes were the main things I'd order…read moreagain, compared to everything else. The chicken itself was pretty juicy and crispy, but it tended to be more on the drier side for my personal taste. As for other options, like the fish sandwich and the sausage, they were pretty ordinary to me - and a smidgen overpriced for what they were. Anyway, though the chicken was good, me and the wife experienced a moderate amount of stomach discomfort that we'd like to attribute to this visit - given how this was the only spot we went to for food (and how it was more or less the only meal we had that day). So... hesitant to go back, but might give this joint another chance... just not in the near future.
