I have been coming here for YEARS and it's absolutely top favorites LOCAL businesses in ABQ. I was shocked it was local because they're so well put together. Whoever does their art is incredible! And every drink is so bomb, highly rec the secret menu online. Also, if you're going to order something, I prefer the blended drinks. Staff is overall pretty chill when I come in; they're not overly nice would definitely not rude. There's other stores in the city, but I do think going to this one is the best because I can always find parking. read more

After we order and pay for our 6 drinks on the screen she tells us they don't have boba or Thai tea. Then she proceeds to only make 5 of 6 of our drinks. After confusion on the order, she continues to gaslight us into thinking that we only ordered 5 drinks. We were forced to re-order and pay for the last drink. I used to always enjoy the drinks from this place (years ago). I had been craving their chai boba recently so went to order multiple drinks for me and family members. To make things short, VERY disappointed!!! Drinks were watered down despite not having very much ice in them. Honestly the chai tasted like dirty water. If your from Southern CA which is peppered with several tea place, your expectations is a little bit high, they don't have the usual west coast favorites like Hokkaido or Okinawa teas, hence I ask what's the equivalent of Hokkaido, the sweet young lady said the closest one will be Jazzy, so jazzy it is. Taste was decent and nice balance of milk and sweetness, tea a little bit off, high marks on boba it was chewy, sign of freshly made pearl. Ambiance is attractive, clean. Boba Tea does everything from smoothie like drinks to regular hot and cold tea! They have regular, traditional boba as well as flavored popping boba and gummies. The flavors are always perfect! Their Thai tea is simply heaven! I loved the smoothie type drinks in college but when I graduated, I decided the Thai tea made it look like I was more "mature." Haha! This was the only boba place near me while I was in Albuquerque so even though I don't love tea I wanted to still come and try it. I personally did not love this place but I know many people will. I don't love tea and because all of the drinks have tea in them it made it harder for me to chose one that I thought I would like. The one I got had black tea in it with boba. I didn't love the drink and I couldn't finish it but that was because the tea flavor was to strong for me. The actual boba is delicious soft and chewy which I loved. I know people that like or love tea would love this place because you can really taste the flavor of the tea. I've gone here for a long time and I love BOBA! This review isn't about the fact that they haven't had any boba's the last few times I've been in. I totally get that. Some stuff is just hard to come by these days. However, when I was there I saw this kid with bleached hair drop a cup in the ground. It bounced around in the floor where the employees were waking. Then he picks it back up and puts it with the clean cups. Yuck. This girl stacked it back in with the rest of the cups. Seriously dude? If you drop something on the ground it can't be served. I mean I know that happens all the time from my days working in restaurants, but it's gross to see first hand. Another time I'm there this girl pulls her mask down and wipes snot off her nose and then proceeds to make a drink. I just walked out without my drink. Get it together guys. This is my first time getting boba tea in Albuquerque, so I don't know how it compares to other places, but I loved Boba Tea Company! It was reasonably priced for boba tea. The have lots of options and their menu is organized super well so it's easy to find what you want. I made a substitution for my drink and there was no upcharge. When I got there the line was out the door, but the two employees worked quickly and it didn't take very long for me to get my drink. Somebody ahead of me got her drink, left, and had to come back because her drink was leaking. The employees helped her out. They were super nice. There were plenty of tables to sit at and the area was clean. Restrooms were also clean. read more

In my opinion, this place has yet to fail me each visit I've had for boba. I tried that Bobalicitea place and i was sorely let down when they said they ran out of boba and it would be another 30 mins before they were ready. Does no one keep an eye on their supply??? I feel like a good, small business would try to keep on top of that better. Well anyway, Boba Tea Co is awesome because their selections are more extensive and they offer the healthier choices for sweetening agents such as blue agave. And they know the right amount to put every time to make it taste perfect. It tastes way better than Bobalicitea too. The only problem i have tho is how jam packed the ice is in their drinks. When i think i have a lot of milk tea, i realize after just a few sips that i dont and my drink is halfway done already. I'll try to tell them easy on the ice next time and hopefully they dont try to charge extra for that. I love Boba Tea and generally have a good experience at their shops. However, this was my first and last visit to this particular location. Out of the three employees that were standing around, none were friendly. I ordered two "smooch" (large) size frozen Purple Haze drinks, which is the only thing we ever order, and to my surprise it came out to more than I've ever been charged for the same two drinks. I didn't mention it to the cashier but in reviewing my very unclear receipt its appeared I was charged for "extras" even though I didn't ask for anything more than the drinks. Also, this is the least amount of boba I've ever gotten in a drink. Other locations are usually generous with the Boba. I wouldn't recommend this location, unless you want to deal with unpleasant employees while being over charged. Next time I'll take a longer drive to a different location.... read more

They come in different flavors. Product: Kimono bubble tea under their Velvet Tea menu. The tea itself wasn't anything spectacular. I've definitely had better bubble tea elsewhere. It just felt watery and although I'm vegan I do like my bubble tea on the thicker side or more so with a bolder flavor. Customer Service: Excellent! I was immediately acknowledged and asked for my order. I shared it was my first time and needed a moment. Afterward I asked for recommendations in which the barista inquired about the flavors I liked to better suggest a beverage. I have been a huge boba tea fan for years and I am glad this location is close to where I live. I am a bit of a purist when it comes to boba tea so I have not tried some of their more ~unique~ concoctions, but they have a solid black milk tea, and a decent green tea (I order both unsweetened). These two aren't listed on the menus, but they can make drinks anyway you like. The boba is a bit too soft sometimes, but still yummy and fun to slurp up. You can also add flavored jelly or popping boba. They have a gimmicky approach to drink names and sizes, so it can be a bit overwhelming for first-timers. The staff didn't correct me when I ordered a "medium" instead of a "kiss" size, which I appreciated. They have several tables if you want to sit and slurp with friends or family, but it does get crowded so plan accordingly. Prices are generally fair, but vary depending on how decadent (read: sugary) you want your drink to be. Will be back when my next craving for boba strikes! read more

I'm not an veteran boba tea traveler by any means, BUT- as far as teas go, I am very impressed with them using loose leaf teas, because that makes the difference in how much FLAVOR the tea has. It blows away anything I make at home, even loose leaf. I've had them twice and the bobas were consistent in firmness each time. I like the variety of choices available with sweeteners (sugar, honey, blue agave,) the wide selection of flavorings to add, that they heat seal the top of the cup, which makes for fantastic portability (not that I've had to test it yet,) and the prices are monstrously easy on my wallet. I've haven't done a toe-to-toe comparison with other boba tea joints, but on its own merit, I've very satisfied with what they have to offer. The next time I'm back in town, I'm there. (My only negative was that they did not list anywhere that the green tea the serve is jasmine green tea.) read more

My friend and I both went into Boba tea last night. The two ladies there were extremely rude as if they were mad that we showed up. Three other people came in a few minutes behind us. They appeared to be treated poorly also. The ladies were slamming things as they were making the drinks, which ended up showing in the quality of how our drinks were made. Our drinks were not that chilled and tasted almost luke warm. I hadn't had boba tea in a really long time and was craving one and ended up disappointed with both the service and quality of the drinks. Could have been the time of day I went. I personally I like Boba. My bf, and I are hooked on the Eskimos. But for some reason these employees don't care enough to do their job. Every time I go it's a hit or miss. Especially with this location, or the Coronado center location. The only location who hasn't messed up our order is the Cottonwood location. At the Nob Hill, and Coronado location, the employees just stand around, and rather talk. Then when you ask them to correct the order they messed up because of them not trying to pay attention to the order. They get all salty, and have the worst attitude. First time I've ever tried Boba Tea and definitely my last! I popped into Boba on Nob Hill to try their Mai Thai without the Boba. Is it supposed to be pure sugar? My throat is actually raw from how disgustingly sweet my tea was. I was maybe able to drink 1/10th of my drink due to the amount of sugar in it. Don't get me wrong... I know Thai tea is typically pretty sweet. This was on a whole new level of sugar content. I think I'll skip Boba the next time I'm looking for a refreshing tea drink. read more

I find this place to be a once awhile treat as it is very pricey for getting a boba tea but it is very tasty with lots of unique flavors and a lot of options. You can also add cream or a cream substitute, blend it, make it bubbly, add bottoms. Basically you can customize it anyway you want to and they will gladly alter it for you. It's a fun beverage that also has some healthy benefits. They have so many options I get something different each time. If I let myself I would be addicted to these teas!
