It was easy to order online and use my freebie, and when you order, it is ready in 10 minutes so be sure to do it at the right time. I ordered the Cocochino, a Cold Brewed Coffee/Chocolate/Vanilla/Cold Foam with boba, and extra boba for $0.99. I chose the Smoothie "smooch" size (24 oz), which is basically a blended drink. I parked near the AMC entrance and took the elevator to the second floor, and it is a kiosk on the right. I came around 11 and it wasn't busy, so I was able to pick up my drink quickly from the friendly employee. I enjoyed my drink! Def on the sweet side with all the ingredients, plus a caramel drizzle. Tasted more like chocolate milk with a hint of coffee. But it hit the spot and the boba was cooked nicely. I have been purposefully avoiding this place for years to support other boba shops. While at the mall, I had an overwhelming craving for boba and finally caved in to trying this place out. It's not bad. Their menu is unique and interesting. A bit pricier than other boba places in the area but they need to be able to pay for their lease somehow right? I've visited twice over a week and service was ok both times. I like their self-serve kiosks as I like to limit my interactions with people as much as possible. I'm not opposed to patronizing here but I would rather support my favorite boba shops in the area first. They are located in the food court. I am never the one to write a bad review but today really went over the line. We waited on line for over 20 minutes for them to finish "restocking" a total of 4 employees and this small mall location not even acknowledging the long line of customers. When they started taking orders again the cash option was not available asking customers to make their orders using their tablets. Still being patient I placed my order (4 drinks in total) using the tablet and paid with a card only to call me a minute later to tell me they were out of stock of everything I wanted in my order. Yousef then stopped taking my order to then call one of his buddies a racial slur. I took offense to that due to my husband being a man of color, along with my daughter. The service was appalling. I was really craving a boba since the location in Scottsdale was out of boba last night. I stopped here on my travels today and braced going into the mall to cure my craving. My biggest complaint is that the staff didn't know the calories for the low calorie options. To me if you have healthier options (or not healthy options), the calories should be listed. I got a low calorie mango tango with regular boba light ice. It was good except the boba were hot for some reason. I've never experienced that before. The taste of the tea was very syrupy yet it tasted good. Overall, the price and size is right and it's good for calming a craving. read more

I'm always down to try and new Boba Spot so when I saw this location and I'd never been we looked over the menu and waited in line. I'm trying to cut beck on sugar , bummer I know... I saw the Bucknaked and it sounded good while son got the cosmo with popping boba . Service was ok, but not anything to write home about. It's in the middle of the food court. We were given a number and waited for it to be called. Our drinks were ready pretty quick. I was not a fan of mine at all. I didn't realize until I drank it that it was lightly carbonated. After finishing up some shopping at Arrowhead Mall, I noticed the line was less crazy at Boba Tea then it was at Starbucks downstairs, so I headed over here for a Thai Iced Tea. Sadly, they were out of that, and a good chunk of the menu - including specialty popping boba. I didn't know until after I waited in line and got to the cashier. It would have been nice to maybe tape over the options that weren't available on the large menu displayed in the front. I was committed to my choice at that point and asked the cashier - who was sweet and patient and keeping the line moving - for a recommendation and she suggested Palm Peach. So I went with that, blended with classic boba. It's pretty good, tropical and creamy. And it was nice to get boba pearls at all with the current shortage. The line moved quickly and the girls behind the counter were friendly. I hope they have some chai or Thai iced options next time, but I would try them again. read more

Our family always stops here for a Boba drink when visiting the mall. Sony drink combinations. I like how transparent the menu is and how you can see every flavor they put into each drink. The names of the drinks as so much fun. My favorite part are thr names of the add-ons like nunus, gobis and Boba. Ordering the drin by name with the add-ons is such fun to say. Popping the seal of the cup with the giant Boba friendly straw is so satisfying. We usually take off the seal for our little ones to drink so they don't suck up the add-ons in the straw unexpectedly and choke on them. They had a few sips from. The straw today like big girls, but cracked the seal in the end to fish for the goodies at the bottom with a spoon. Fast friendly service all the time. read more

My friend and I were hanging out at this mall, after we walked around the mall, we got thirsty and we saw this boba kiosk in the middle of the food court. Of course I was excited, I don't think I've been to this mall before, so I didn't know this mall has boba tea. We looked at the menu and oh boy, I'm glad there was a guy waiting for his drink and talking to the girl about stuff so I had more time to look at the menu, thanks dude. The menu though, they are so confusing? I've never gotten so confused to order boba tea but today it happened. I am not a big fan of "fruity" tea type of thing when it comes to boba, I like my boba tea sweet, milky and creamy. But they don't even have what we usually find at other boba places which is the Classic milk tea. But the girl was nice, I did ask her if they have a menu that's close to classic milk tea flavor? She said the flavor that is close to classic milk tea would be Jazzie (dark brown sugar-cream-golden tea) but my friend ordered Jazzie before and she said it tasted more like coffee to her rather than brown sugar. So I ended up order Geisha (matcha milk tea). Honestly, I do like the boba here, it's sweet and chewy. The Geisha tasted just like Matcha (duh), but I also tasted "jasmine tea". So, it's like Jasmine tea + Matcha, it wasn't bad though. I gave 3 stars because of the price and the confusing menu. It was $5.45 for medium (more like small to me)... They are by the food court. The costumer service was amazing and the people working there seemed so nice. The cashier asks you a series of questions when you go to order after you tell her your drink and she's very fast but also has a great attitude about it. I absolutely love the gobi here, it's so refreshing and sweet - quite frankly, it's the best I've ever had! BUT today I drove here just to get this tea (and it's not a quick drive from my work) and the kiosk was CLOSED. No sign, no posting online, nothing. The menu sign was even turned off and it was deserted. Other customers came up while I was standing there dumbfounded, and they were just as confused as I was. It's probably not the best business model to be closed during business hours. I definitely recommend the tea here, but will be going to one of the other locations, assuming they're even open. read more

My daughter and I will always come here when we're in the area. We love the boba here and drinks that we order. Jacob is great, he's very cheerful and welcoming. I've never had bad experience here EXCEPT that 1 time with a lady (didn't get her name), who did not smile at all and was pouring only half the scoop of boba instead of the full scoop which was disappointing, since i ordered 4 scoops and was excited about it. It was a let down. But overall, I would still give this place a 5 star rating as most of the employees and the drinks deserve it. So my friend and I were hanging out at arrowhead yesterday (Sunday) and we got food just before the mall was closing. After eating, I noticed the lights at the Boba counter were still on so I thought they were still open. There were no signs or indications that it was already closed, and this girl was standing at the counter as of ready to take an order. So as I was approaching, she was looking at me and when I was about to open my mouth to ask a question, she jumped in to say they were closed. To that I say, make it obvious and step away from the counter... Anyway, I thought I'd still ask her "what would you recommend?".. her response.. "uhhh for what?" The first thing in my head was 'did I come here to buy a zebra or boba?.. I can't remember '... so I said "for boba! Can you recommend any flavors or know which ones have been people's favorites?" Her: "welll that depends on what you like. You can look at the menu and see which flavor you'd prefer like vanilla and blah, blah.." at which point I checked out. Plus I was staring at that menu for like 10mins before all this and still wasn't sure what I was looking at since there was too much and such odd combinations of fruit flavor that usually wouldn't be my forte. So I asked: "just curious do you by chance use any floral flavors?" Her: "floral?????? " Me: "yeah.. you have a drink called Honeysuckle, but the description doesn't show honeysuckle flavor in it so I'm curious" Her: "ummm oh you mean like flowers?" Me: ‍‍‍‍ "yeah like lavender?" Her: *laughing condescendingly* "haha I mean I can go outside and grab some off a bush for you but.... also doesn't lavender make you tired" My friend and I: "no, it soothes and calms you from stress, so it helps you to be able to sleep as one example, and it helps all sorts of things but it doesn't put you to sleep.." the whole time she's looking at us with this face of 'stop trying to school me, I know what I'm talking about'... like why is it so hard for this girl to have a normal conversation with someone. Anyway.. My friend: "if you guys have any say in the matter, suggest to add lavender to the list because lavender lemonade is THE best. There's a cute place in old town Scottsdale that serves exotic flavors and this is surprisingly refreshing! You should try it!!" She gave us this look like we fell off of a different planet and handed us their little menu to take with us, which I tossed in the trash. All this to say that I will never actually order anything there. How is this girl employed at a boba place and doesn't know anything about boba, or proper customer service for that matter. I honestly wish she was more cultured in that area, but the thing that irked me the most is how condescending her face, glances, and tone were.. and telling me she can run out to get some off a bush outside in the most ironic way, my head was going to explode. How dare she talk to me that way, also being way younger than me, that's incredibly rude and immature. If she was trying to make a joke, I'd suggest a different one. However, at that point I let my friend do some of the talking cuz I wasn't sure what I was going to say. Clearly this is not the right boba place I'm looking for. So the reason I gave 1 star is because the service is extremely slow! there is always a line at this place, not because it taste good, but because there are inexperienced workers working here. I don't remember the guys name but it was my turn in line and he said "don't worry my buddy will take care of you." and then he just took off his apron and left the shop. He left the shop with a massive line behind and went who knows where, and left one person to take about 12 people's order. Talk about zero customer service!! The girl with long black hair ( I don't know her name) is so slow to make the drinks, she was often seen hiding behind the machines on her phone & then out of no where she left the store also. So two people left (white male w black hair & female with black hair) one person to make the drinks and take the order, I felt sorry for the guy because 1. he looked sick because he kept rubbing his nose (yuck) after he touched money and then would go make the drinks & did that one by one. I got the Thai tea which tasted like milk & water. Gross. My husband got some strawberry drink. That one was pretty good & sweet. Hopefully management sees this and can hire customer friendly / customer smart employees who can do what Starbucks can do in half the time. read more

Boba tea is delicious but it felt like we wait in line for what felt like centuries. And the line kept growing. I don't understand how they have 3 registers and only two employees while 1 is cleaning all the blenders and the other is at 1 register and making the boba. If they hired 1 or 2 more people during the busy summer weekends it would make the line move a lot faster for people to enjoy their boba. 3 stars for good boba but long wait. read more
