It tasted like weak, low-quality tea, to the point where I didn't even want to drink it. The service at the register was also lacking--the young man taking orders was quite rude and made us feel rushed while we were trying to decide. The two bowls of pho and the popcorn chicken have met expectations, like the standard, and unfortunately not memorable. ALL were very unique and flavorful. The sugar cane drink and the wings are highly recommended-these items you rarely find in restaurants. The popcorn chicken comes with a unique flavorful sauce. The pineapple fried rice I could've probably done without. I'd recommend going with the fish sauce combo plate with steamed rice (which I didn't order). The flavors are truly authentic, and the broth is so rich and delicious that I don't even feel the need to add extra condiments. I also really appreciate that they don't use MSG -you can genuinely taste the difference. After a mall trip during a monsoon this weekend, we needed some Sunday evening dinner and stopped by the brick and mortar restaurant. I have a rice sensitivity and he made sure that my Pho Special had no rice noodles and brought my order out first and let me know that it was mine. We had so much fresh basil for the pho I was in Heaven and Hubs got all of my fresh jalapeño slices as well as his for the his pho. The restaurant has a gender neutral restroom, seating inside the restaurant and patio seating at the back/side of restaurant. In fact, I drive by Bee Happy once a week and never realized it. Bee Happy is tucked away in the corner of a shopping center. This eatery is bright and cheerful. There is a wall with their logo and cute honeycomb tile for pictures. The wall is perfect for that quintessential Yelp or social media photo. Order at the counter. Either wait for your order up front, or grab a seat at a table. Seating options both inside and outside. My daughter ordered a mango milk tea with strawberry popping Boba. A taro shake for myself.
