Ok, I'm not usually one to leave bad reviews. I understand that there are bad days or sometimes things are not to your taste. That said, I do think sometimes things leave a bad taste, both literally and figuratively. I came here after stopping at the Asian mart and ordered a brown sugar milk tea (I have had this at other tea shops). When I got my order I felt it was a little warm but I could live with that. After tasting it, I could not because it was so overwhelmingly sweet. Like unbearably sweet. So I go back in and tell them. The person tells me not much they can do about that. I say ok, can I have some more ice. He says he has to ask his manager. The manager says no. So I throw away my $7 tea and will never return here. I understand not being able to fix a tea once made but then ask about sugar levels when a customer is placing an order. And idk, maybe think about the future because I will for sure never come back here. read more

I am a fan of this place! They have such a huge selection of flavors, but not an overwhelming amount. Teas, fruit, ice cream, iced coffee & more. They even have different flavor boba pearls! They have a flavor of the week that they sell at a discounted rate also. Super helpful for indecisive people like me! Boba World is super clean as well. The tables and floors are never dirty. It even smells fruity & clean. Cleanliness is a big thing for me, so I really like that. There's also a small assortment of snacks to go with your boba. They serve ice cream in a cup or a cone. They also have a stamp card! When you buy 10, you get one free. I'm a regular here, so I really love that. All in all, it's a fun little cafe! Don't ASK FOR EXTRA BOBA AND PAY FOR IT AND IF YOU DO MAKE SURE YOU TIP BECAUSE THE GUY WONT GIVE YOU EXTRA. I'm a frequent customer and always ask for extra but for the past 4 visits asking for extra they don't give me extra unless i tip a good amount. This used to be my go-to Boba spot before Teajito opened up 5 minutes away. ...but while Teajito IS closer so it's more convenient to go there instead, Boba World is still worlds above...Better prices, better selection, and more fun atmosphere. It's a colorful spot in an otherwise kinda sad strip mall (it's looked the same for 30 years and desperately needs a revamp...but I digress). A Boba tea place is exactly what Sunset Drive needed. My sisters and I took a little trip to Boba World and needless to say we were floored by how many options they had. There were several kinds of Boba, pearls, and jelly to fit everyone's wishes. Another plus was that they had Thai tea on their menu, which is a personal favorite! This is my favorite Boba spot in miami, no frills but so delicious. My favorite is what used to be called the taro- lychee cream. This consisted of taro powder and lychee ice cream. However, since the change in management maybe about 2 or 3 years maybe, I've only been able to get something close but not exact to their original menu. There is no real room to hang out in the shop, but this isn't usually an issue though as most I believe pick up and leave anyways. They have a large selection of flavors and boba or popping bubbles. I was a little disappointed with my order here, but maybe I'm just picky (or a little spoiled by other better boba shops.. sry). Positives: no line, clean, relatively inexpensive compared to other boba shops, lots of fun boba options, one of the two staff members was kind and welcoming, and my order was put together quickly and correctly (Thai tea, 25% sweet with tapioca boba) Negatives: the thai tea was just not very good, hard to explain. I could tell the tapioca boba balls were not fresh, because it affects their consistency (harder in the middle than the outside), and they also tasted poorly. You have so many options to choose from, and you can mix and match, they even provide more that just your typical boba(for example- strawberry pearls). Boba World really does know how to make a good boba- the best! They have different sizes as well, and for a small i got - green tea with boba - $4.01 NOT BAD at all! Let me just start off by saying I'm new to this "boba world," so I was kind of skeptical coming in. The people there were super helpful. They let me sample the jelly and helped me decide what to get. TL;DR: If you desperately need a boba fix, then rush over here. Otherwise, I'm still holding out for something to replace the Chatime that "shut down" (didn't really shut down; the owner just nixed their contract this year with the franchise, and so the Chatime products aren't sold... and thus the flavor is no longer the same) in Brickell. :'( Came here this past weekend after stopping off at Wing Fa for the first time. Was super excited to see Boba World as we were getting ready to leave the grocery market, so we ran over to try out a milk tea. :) Also picked up a pudding/custard bun (which was decently yummy). :3 We ordered a large milk tea with pudding (after asking if they sold pudding with the drinks instead of your typical boba pearls because I didn't see it on the menu). They said yes, so we were psyched. Unfortunately, the milk tea was very bland in both my date and my opinions. :( I felt the flavor wasn't strong enough (seemed diluted?) and the "pudding" I got in my drink was more like pudding-flavored jelly. Not the yellow delicious pudding of goodness I was searching for. We greatly wanted to love this place because, hello, closer than Chatime at Sunset Place AND closer than anything in Broward! :'D But, our dream was not to be met. Ok I've come here about six times now, time for a review. Location is a bit of a pain since its in a strip with a lot of shops and not a lot of parking but I have always found parking thankfully. The store itself is cute and brightly colored and the staff is bubbly as well! Always welcome you in and are very kind and patient when ordering as they have soo many options and ways to mix your drink. Tea, smoothies, and ice cream! They let you mix every flavor they have basically plus a nice variety of bubbles and jelly to add in. I always go for cold tea with tapioca pearls as well as lychee or pineapple jelly. They vacuum seal the lids on and ugh I love bubble tea so much so I'm happy this establishment is here, and so close to home as well! Prices are same as every other bubble tea place. I've worked in retail and the service industry before and if a customer tells you it's their first time, it's the best opportunity for you to explain the product, maybe ask where they heard of the business from or from who, and even make suggestions based on their interests. But then again that would require someone talking to a customer and this girl did not. She seemed like she couldn't be bothered and that turned me off that I almost left. Onto the product...I had a small Avocado Taro "smooth cream" as they call it (with Boba tapioca pearls) and it was my own creation. I had first settled on either the Lychee milkshake or the Green Tea milkshake. I ended up ordering a lychee smoothie with extra boba. My friend ordered Taro. We did have to wait for the pearls but I am totally fine with that. They were smaller than I expected but the perfect amount of chew. My "smoothie" was quite watery and by the time I made it home it was more like a tea than any sort of smoothie. Nice boba tea spot on Sunset. It's a mission to find parking on a Saturday afternoon, though. The server was very nice. I ordered the taro tea with bubbles. So glad this place open up in Kendall ! I live near the area so I can easily get my boba fix. I usually go with the taro boba that is made from the powder and it was great ! The tapioca balls were just great not too chewy and not too soggy . The person serving was very nice and made my boba quickly ! He also offered me a type of reward card that if you can work your way up to a free boba. Also the place was very clean. The only reason for the 4 stars was I had a pork bun and it didn't taste good. Coming from Orange County, CA, I really needed a boba place and I am glad this place is close to my house. Boba World is a small boba place with boba and shaved snow. Today was my first day there and I tried the new Caramel Pudding boba which consists of milk tea and pudding. The owners are really friendly and I was able to customize my boba and made it half as sweet with less ice. My boba was perfect and he made it with just right with the right amount of sweetness. Usually boba places make it too sweet even if you ask for less sweet. It is a little more expensive than I am use to but I am use to California boba prices. I will definitely come here again and also got a stamp card. read more

I'm a reasonable person when it comes to working with foods and drinks because i understand the struggles, but some things should not be left un said. i ordered 2 teas with extra tapioca, only 1 drink was made. and waited for about 20 minutes as everyone who came in after me got there drinks before i did. i go to ask the worker why my second drink hasn't been made and turns out they never made the order. so there i place it again and wait about another 15 minutes and still no drink. i go up again and turns out they still hadn't made it and there was no tapioca left!! i didn't get what i paid for and it was not a good experience from customer service to so many other factors that go in hand with these kind of businesses. read more

A shop dedicated to the creation of uniquely flavored boba teas. Boba World is located in a busy shopping mall off of sunset drive and 97th avenue. Parking wasn't an issue despite the business of this particular mall. Boba world offers fruit boba teas as well as milk teas AND smoothie-like tea with boba inside. We tried the Nutella, chocolate milk and jasmine milk tea. Two with rainbow boba and one with regular tapioca boba. The flavor of the teas were really good. I can vouch for the jasmine milk tea as that's the one I had for myself and it was very aromatic in flavor. The teas come with what seems like a vacuum sealed plastic cover placed after the tea is made. There was only one person manning the store when I visited so it took a little longer than expected however he was very courteous, attentive and helpful. It was worth the wait and I hope to return soon to try other flavors. read more
