Unlike every other froyo store out there, they do not allow you to serve your own toppings. They are in small prepackaged cups that you are forced to buy even if you want less. They say it's for sanitary reasons, but as someone who visits froyo places regularly, I don't see their concern. If they invested in the proper display cases with glass shields and topping containers with lids and nooks to store the serving spoons, all is clean and fine. For my fam, the fun with froyo is in the toppings and decorating your special creation one topping at a time, making it specific to you and exactly how much you want to put. I'm not sure what clientele this business may have that the patrons are so filthy... so maybe their concerns are valid... but maybe they can help educate their clients on how to not be gross. Additionally, this small plastic cup thing is so environmentally unfriendly. It's plain wasteful and sad. I can only imagine how many of these single use plastic cups are being sent to the landfill daily from this business that will be here a million years from now.
