This is by far the best Boba tea in Miami. The prices are fair, they have every flavor in the book and it's made fresh to order. I usually get a watermelon peach boba smoothie. It has tea, frozen fruit, and some flavored syrup to amp it up a bit. If I lived closer I'd be there every day and I'd probably be broke. Love, love, lovelovelove this place!!! I was in the area, waiting for my pizza to be ready across the street, and I saw the 'boba world' sign from the main road. I haven't had boba since I was in LA, which was easily a year ago. I pulled into a parking spot and made my way inside. It's really cute when you walk in the door, bright walls and smiling faces behind the counter. I met Carolina, and she helped me to decide on a large avocado cheesecake smoothie with strawberry pop boba, and a large pineapple icee with pineapple gummies. Both were amazing. Unfortunately for my boyfriend, I drank 1/4 of his on the drive home, but he was still very pleased with his new treat and we have since gone back twice this month. Average. Boba had the right texture but lacks flavor. The drinks lack flavor as well. The milk tea tasted watered down and the Nutella had a diet-y Splenda taste. When I drink boba drinks, I want to taste that concentrated artificial flavoring/creamer and I didn't get that here. Won't return unless I happen to be around the area. Upon arrival, the owner yelled at my friend and I to stay outside (because of covid) which was approximately a 15 minute wait, not to mention the 90 degree weather which made it feel substantially longer. This was additional to the 10 minutes it takes them to make a relatively simple drink. This is only the second time I come and I asked the lady for advice on what to order and she wasn't all that helpful. I ended up getting the coffee with Nutella and not only did it taste nothing like Nutella, but it was bitter. I asked the man if I could redo my drink because it was literally repulsive and he very disrespectfully said that it was exactly what I ordered and that if I wanted another one, I would have to pay. I usually never write reviews but I am just so disappointed. SpecialTEA Lounge will make you another boba drink for FREE if you are unsatisfied with your purchase. We've come to the conclusion that no where in Miami has as good boba / bubble tea as the Chinatown in our hometown... But! This place is still pretty good. We usually get large boba smoothies, skip the tapioca and sub jelly. I got raspberry with lychee syrup and coconut powder (and lychee jelly) today. Coconut powder was a little overbearing, but still good. My wife's choice was amazing though - mango with passion fruit syrup and mango jelly. We'll be coming here regularly and will take advantage of their stamp card (buy 10 drinks and get a small free). read more

Mom and pop shop run by a mom and pop. Place is spacious with a cool aquarium. Their system is slow and old school, so getting your order takes time. Pretty cool how their menu tells what's made from real fruit, syrup, or powder. Despite the slow service, the tea is really good. read more

Love this place! The owners are so friendly. My boba drinks are always delicious and they also have ice cream & japanese cookies & snacks. The taro milk boba tea is sooo good!!! Their boba's always taste fresh and have that nice bounce. And I like that its a west coast type boba place where they seal the lid onto the cup and you have to poke thru it with the straw. It's also great because the Kidz Kutz haircut place is next door, so I can get my kids haircuts and then come enjoy a delicious treat. Keep up the good work Boba World! read more

I've been here twice so far and have had good experiences both times as well as great bubble tea. My first time here, the employee was very helpful with explaining all the flavors and types of bubble tea. They use a business card stamp system where you can get a free tea once you fill it up with stamps. They also sell ice cream and packaged snacks. Been coming to this place on an almost daily. The stuff they sell here is something out of the norm. First time I came I tried the smooth cream. Was pretty good especially with the boba (which is free) but got it confused for the ice cream. Yes they sell ice cream the best possible price. $1.25 per scoop. Cute little shop with attentive employees. A lot of the options have milk but if you let them know you're dairy free they will kindly help you out. Mine was made with fresh fruits and the cup was one like I haven't seen, with a vacuum sealed top that you puncture with your straw. :) read more

Worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life time. I was handed a faulty cup holder that crumbled in my hands, and called to attempt to fix the problem with them, expecting to be handled with kindness and understanding, I was met with an employee who gave me sass and attitude that was completely unwarranted. The young lady wouldn't even provide me with her name and continued to be unprofessional, texting me from her personal number rather than calling me from the store. They then refused to pass me to a owner or manager, and was just told that the manager said no, without any further explanation. When I told them that if I was not helped I would dispute the charges on my card I was met with threats and videos of myself from the personal number. I feel so violated, they have lost a customer for life! Beware! Don't go here! read more

I have numerous entries in that book. But why are they writing in the book? What purpose does it serve? Are they selling Boba Tea secrets to the Russians? What book you ask? They write every single drink order in a notebook for some bizarre reason, but who am I to question the business practices of Boba world. All jokes aside.....Anytime I go to dim sum at South Garden or do my Asian grocery shopping at Wing Fa or PK I always stop. Quick, refreshing and served by friendly smiling people, which can be hard to come by in Miami sometimes. Other than that it's pretty similar to any boba tea place I've ever been with here or abroad. Clean, sterile, limited seating, bright colors but little actual decor. As for ordering, that's up to you, but I will say that most of the time the weirder the combination the better the drink. Also hit up the staff for some recommendations, it's what they do. My old stand byes are the Thai ice tea or regular milk tea. Don't forget you tea card which entitles you to a free tea after frequent visits. read more
