When I was in Waikiki Beach and if I ordered a Matcha float, I always ask for no ice and so they would fill it full of Matcha ice cream and then the cold Matcha tea premade in a pitcher from their fridge (i'm assuming because people ask for it this way all the time so they have to make a stock pile of it first because you don't wanna pour hot Matcha tea over ice cream) but they won't do that here in Minneapolis. You cannot get it without ice in Minneapolis cause they make the Matcha tea fresh so it's hot and they pour it over the ice and it melts the ice a little bit and then they put the matcha ice cream on top of that. lol i'm sure people ask for NO ICE all the time so now it says that right on the menu that you have to get it with ice booooo.
