Stumble across this place when I was looking an alternative boba place that had food since Ice Bar down the street, kitchen was down. Seems like a new boba place that just opened yesterday and thought to give it a go. Had ordered a couple drinks and some snacks to go along. Waited for both the drinks and boba probably the longest we ever had to wait. Mind you the place has no one else around and still manage to have such a long wait for both. However I still have them the benefit of the doubt and allowed for them to "take their time" since they just had their grand opening. Upon receiving our drinks I soon realized that the strawberry green tea I ordered had a huge gap between the drink and the cap itself. Even without asking for less ice. So I don't see the reason for the gap being there. Finally the food came through after nearly 20+ minutes later... Popcorn chicken was oddly dark like as if they don't change their oil to cook their chicken in, despite only to have had their grand opening yesterday. Which you would think they would have "better/clean" oil to cook their food in. When I went to go take a sip of the drink the only thing I can think of is where's the sugar? I know I asked for less sugar 75% but the whole drink taste like straight up WATER. All three drinks all taste like water and the only thing to give it a kick was either the cheese foam or the crystal boba. So in the end I just bought myself $5-6 cup of water with toppings. Really don't want to do this since it's a good spot of mine to get late boba, but went on Friday night around 9pm, got popcorn chicken and 2 x green milk tea. Extra one for my brother but he passed on the popcorn chicken since he had a big dinner. Lucky him cuz that same night, I was beginning to have bloating and burping (with the lingering taste and smell of the oily popcorn chicken aftertaste), woke up next morning nauseous and proceeded to constant diarrhea and vomiting the whole day. Then high fever through out the day and night with joint pains. The discomfort was so awful, felt like stomach was being squeezed and burned at the same time. Couldn't eat and was bedridden for 2 days the whole weekend. Tho little bit better on Sunday but still not well enough to be active and scrapped plans for my wedding anniversary with my wife. Who took cared of me the weekend instead. Electrolyte water was key, helped a lot. After some mental clarity I begin to trace back and thought might also be something I ate for dinner prior, but my wife had the same thing for dinner and she was totally fine, the only thing I've eaten and one else, all While can still taste in mouth through the fiasco was the popcorn chicken.
