My boyfriend and I have been coming to this boba shop since 2014. We loved the boba and loved supporting this small business. However most recently they hired a new staff and our usual order has been a problem now. We would order a half caramel half vanilla shake but when we went in today we asked one of the new workers Gisselle if she could make it and immediately was rude and stated "yeah we're not allow to make that" when we said it's something we've never had a problem ordering before she became more aggressive and rude stating the other people can make it but she's not. Sad to say after over a decade of supporting this business we will not be returning due to this experience. read more

I've been to this location many times and always place my order by phone ahead of time. This time, I had to call three separate times because the line kept disconnecting. Each time, the employee would only get part of the order before the call dropped. On the second call, we were in the middle of confirming the order when it hung up again. On the third call, she apologized and said the line was cutting out. When I tried to confirm my order one last time, she seemed rushed but said everything was correct before we hung up. My order was shrimp tempura, mozzarella sticks with no seasoning, two large mango teas, and one large black tea. When we got home, I noticed the shrimp tempura had no dipping sauce, and instead of mozzarella sticks, we were given potstickers. I called the store immediately and was told I needed to return the potstickers to receive the mozzarella sticks. I explained that I was no longer in the area and asked what could be done. I was then told to save the potstickers and bring them back the next time I came in so they could give me the mozzarella sticks. Since I don't like potstickers, I ended up throwing them away. This was a decent tea spot for it's price (it's very affordable definitely one of the lowest in terms of food & drinks that I found around). Personally I would say this spot a 3/5 for drinks but 5/5 for value so I put it in the middle. Nothing really stood out to me and many drinks were either some fusion or a basic drink. Seems like many of the drinks are super sugary with cereal or other insane toppings which is cool but never is for me (I drink my teas with low sweatness). First off popcorn chicken, it's a bit different than the ones you may see at Taiwanese places. Breading was definitely different but it was fried well. I thought it was okay, for $7 it definitely filled the belly. In terms of drink I got the apple black tea which was decent and for $3 I can't complain. Overall decent drink and food but a solid and affordable price. Place is small so not really a place to chill but I do love that they have a vast selection of different foods. Absolutely love their cereal shakes! I think our favorite is the fruity pebble shake but all of the different shakes seem to be flying out the door. Boba seems to be well liked as well. We also enjoyed some of their finger foods and those were tasty as well. My favorite was their eggrolls. Service is excellent. They take your order quickly. When it is busy here, it does take a little longer so be prepared for a small wait. The ambience is on point with what you would expect. Not a lot of seating inside and it is a small place. Apparently this place has been here for years, but to me this was a new place because I had never been. However , this is the last time I will order or "hang out" inside. Disclaimer: This review has nothing to do with the customer service - they were actually pretty nice and served the drinks really quickly to everyone who came in and ordered. However, I ordered on the tablet on the wall , a simple and relatively inexpensive Lychee black tea with Jelly for $4.10 . These are early 2000 prices! Nothing special as far as the drink goes, but they do have plenty of other eats and drink specials including the cereal drink. This review has to do with what you would expect about this place as far as ambiance. First , this place is super tiny and has 2 tables of four and a table for two, but it is extremely loud in there. With the jingles from the two "scam mode" claw machines, to the music from the speaker , to the people who come in there and the actual buzzing sound of the blenders constantly at work. I literally thought my brain was going to explode just trying to have a conversation with friends. I thought this place would not be soooo busy on a Wednesday night but I was completely wrong. When you walk in you there are table on the side and the counter to pick up drinks in the far end. You can order from the kiosk or with the cashier. I like that they had a claw machine to play with. This seems like a nice spot to go with friends. There's a lot of variety to choose from. They have milk teas, smoothies, slushies, shakes, fruit teas, lemonades, and food items. I got the Desert Pear Lemonade and Strawberry Shortcake Shake. The desert pear lemonade was REALLY sour, it could've used additional sweetener but the flavor was good. Boba Tea Lounge offers affordable drinks with friendly service. The cashier recommended the Taro Milk Tea ($3.70). I added boba (additional 69 cents). And I ordered the Spam Musubi ($5.00). I arrived on a weekday (around 5:30PM). Service is fast. The drink needed 49 seconds. The Spam Musubi finished in 3 minutes. Unfortunately, the drink tasted watered down. I barely tasted the taro. Thankfully, the boba was not mushy. The drink is adequate for its cheap price. The lightly crisp spam musubi is bland and tightly wrapped with chewy seaweed. The sweet, tangy flavor derives from its sauce. Boba Tea Lounge is clean. The interior is aesthetically pleasing. The staff is also very friendly. Overall, Boba Tea Lounge offers budget friendly tea with a smile. 3.5/5 Note: The drink's seal is thick; it's difficult to puncture. I observed a customer spill when forcing the straw through. This place has delicious and affordable boba, with so many options! I haven't yet tried much of their food but the jalapeno poppers are really tasty! We usually get the Thai Tea with boba, and my kids will try various drinks on the menu. It's a small venue, but there is some seating however. They also have a full menu of cereal milkshakes and food/snacks! We ordered a few snack items and they were all bomb. Our favorites were the chili cheese fries and and spam musubi. The fries were crispy and topped with flavorful chili and shredded cheese. The spam musubi was crunchy since the spam was fried for extra texture flair. Our drinks were also good and the boba was soft and chewy. There is parking available, their hours are decently open late, staff is friendly, and the their tea lounge is clean and nicely decorated with their menu of great variety. Boba tea lounge has an extensive menu where you're bound to find something you like. I highly recommend their chicken musubi which is chicken cutlet spam musubi style. Got here on a friday afternoon and there was plenty of parking. I ordered the Teal Lemonade and my brother got the Fruity Pebbles Shake. We each liked our drinks! Wow! Wasn't expecting the popcorn chicken to be so crispy and full of flavor! The portion was huge! I would said the popcorn chicken they have isn't like the other tea places. The drinks are excessively sweet. Normally if you go to a boba shop and they have options for reducing the sweetness, it's pretty noticeable. I ordered a mango milk tea with a coconut milk substitute and aloe with 75% sweetness. When I got my drink, it was still so sweet and just barely drinkable. I was hoping that by reducing the sweetness level I would actually be able to enjoy it this time, but nope it was still very sweet. The coconut milk was also very light, it didn't seem like they barely added any at all. I didn't notice a difference at all. Normally other shops will use the same amount of milk when doing a milk substitute but it felt like only a splash was put in. read more

First off, I'm not sure if it was because it was towards the end of the day and they hadn't changed the oil in the fryer, but the popcorn chicken had a strong aftertaste of burnt oil. It was also way too salty--I couldn't finish it. The portion size was decent, though, and if you like a chicken katsu-style breading, you might enjoy it. Secondly, the honeydew milk tea was really watered down. I definitely should've considered trying their cereal shakes since that's what they're known for.
