My event placed a large order of over 20 drinks for our student volunteers. There was only one kid staffing the entire boba shop on a Sunday afternoon on one of the hottest weekends of the year. Half the drinks came without sugar because the staff member became overwhelmed with the order. We could not spare the time to come back to have the drinks be remade and the staff member was not authorized to issue refunds. There was nothing anyone could do to compensate us for this error. To be clear, this was not the staff member's fault. The staff member did everything she could to keep up with the order and come up with a solution once we called about the error. The owner of this Ding Tea was incompetent and irresponsible in leaving one person in charge of the counter and giving her no way to deal with errors like this. I implore the owner to adequately staff the place of let somebody issue refunds. Edit: Owner's response is missing the point. It's not that one drink wasn't sweet enough. Out of around 23 drinks, half of them had absolutely no sugar in them and were completely unpalatable. After double checking our receipt, we did not request 30% sugar for most of these drinks. One drink had extra sugar in it despite no changes requested. Two drinks that were supposed to have the same level of sugar came with one unsweetened and the other sweetened. Don't blame our volunteers for something that is clearly a mistake. I'm not even looking for a refund at this point. There's just something wrong with the management of this place that's resulted in problems like ours and those described in the recent reviews others have posted.

The girl was super sweet and greeted us. It's been awhile but my daughter liked the brown sugar w crystal boba. My last drink was super sweet and it tasted like the Strawberry Yalkult. I got the Strawberry Honey Sweet drink and yes, it's definitely sweet!!!! Was disappointed in both drinks.

Ding Tea (West Covina) serves below average, cheap-tasting drinks. I entered Ding Tea (West Covina) with low expectations, and I still left disappointed. I ordered the Matcha Milk Tea (Large - $6.10) with Golden Boba (additional 85 cents). First, the Golden Boba resembled flabby, unsweetened jello. The Golden Boba's texture was very bad. It's not bouncy; rather, they splattered apart when chewed. Next, the Matcha Milk Tea resembled watery milk with very faint bitter matcha. With all the boba tea shop competition, Ding Tea (West Covina) is severely below average. I visited Ding Tea (West Covina) on Thursday (around 7:20PM). The location is maintained and well-ventilated. I enjoyed the Pokemon themed artwork. I also liked the free arcade station. There's also plenty of picturesque sections. However, Ding Tea (West Covina) also felt a little dated, like a hollow & forgotten (but occasionally scrubbed) Chuck E Cheese. Staff is businesslike and quick. My order was completed within two minutes and 40 seconds. Fast! Ding Tea (West Covina) was not like this in the past. Years ago, I'd visit Ding Tea (West Covina) to purchase yummy drinks for my family. Unfortunately, at its current state, Ding Tea (West Covina) is as unique and spectacular as purchasing drinks from your nearest Dollar Tree or 99 cents store. I can't recommend. 2.5 out of 5

I enjoy coming to Ding Tea. The location is clean, the drinks are great, and the staff are so nice. There are plenty of tables to enjoy your drink and hang out. I've seen guests play board games and there is a cool console set up to play video games as well. There is wifi if you need a place to work/study but it can get pretty loud when it's busy so bring headphones or ear plugs. There is limited parking right in front of the location but there is plenty of parking available in the lot.

Ding Tea is a chain Taiwanese boba shop that serves fresh tea as well as other drinks. Ding Tea is my fave boba shop because no other boba shop (that I know of) has golden boba. The boba itself is the best thing at all Ding Teas and it's nice that it's consistently good at all locations I've been to. Got me a Matcha Milk Tea w extra boba, and it was made perfectly to my liking. There are other drinks I've tried here and every single one has always been good. The place is clean and guy at the counter was nice and friendly. Parking is limited.

AMBIANCE - next to Stinkin' Crawfish, Ding Tea is pretty widely known. This location is pretty big and very clean. There's plenty of seating as well. FOOD - You have all of your favorite classics with some new, limited offerings throughout the seasons. They don't necessarily have coffee but the closest thing they had was their Dalgona Coffee Milk Tea. I ordered that with coffee jelly and it hit the spot! A little strong but sweet enough and the jelly was fun. I'd order that again but definitely open to trying all of the other drinks they have too; so many to choose from! SERVICE - I was welcomed by a sweet girl who answered all of my questions and made my visit great! She was really helpful but I think she was the only one working so props to her! NOTE(S) - wifi + plenty of seating + outlets

Stopped by to satisfy a tea craving. There was only one guy working the counter and he was very friendly. Ambiance was nice with plenty of seating. There was even a game set. Got the honey green milk tea, regular size ($5.10) and oolong tea with sea cream ($4.52). The topping was free with Yelp. I adjusted the sugar and ice levels. The drinks were good.

I used the app to order. It was easy and quick. I got the aloe honey with boba. The boba were hard. They were with cooked too long or sat too long. The tea was delicious.

Ding Tea is in a large shopping center so parking wasn't an issue. Absolutely love that there's a Yelp Check In offer plus there was a buy 2 get 1 free deal going on the day I visited. Customer service was super patient. Orders took some time but it wasn't a deal breaker. My dalgona coffee was amazingly delicious. I would recommend!

My favorite boba spot in the area. My go to order is the peach green tea boba. It is also a cute spot to come hang out with friends.

I walked in, only one person in there, no greeting from the two staff members present. I took a minute to look at the menu because this was my first time. I mentioned that to the cashier, and there was literally no comment, I guess I was kind of expecting a "welcome" or "thanks for trying us out", she just looked at me. I asked what was in a specific listed menu item and she obliged. The drink was made pretty quick and they called my name when it was ready, I walked up and said, thank you and again the woman who made the drink, literally just turned her back and walked away. Needless to say, I would never come back to this location again. It's funny because I looked at the reviews and some people say all the customer services is awesome, so I don't know if it's Monday Blues, or what the situation is but even my daughter who was with me, said thank you when we were leaving and again no response. She literally told me "I said it just to see if they would respond after I heard you say thank you", and there was no response. We gave them several opportunities, with no response. That's too bad, my first impression was really bad from the service staff. I got the Mood Changer espresso, drink, iced. It had a good flavor, but a little on the sweet side, I prefer to taste more of a coffee myself. The shop itself is really cute, they have cute pins on the countertop that they sell with their name inscribed, they have cute cups, as well and T-shirts.

They took our order: banana caramel latte, a yuzu tonic, and a warmed up plain croffle. We took a seat to wait for our items, which didn't take too long. Their banana caramel latte was okay; I probably wouldn't get it again. There was a lot of milk in mind and a fading coffee taste. The drink tasted similar to artificial banana and I didn't like that. The yuzu tonic was heavy in yuzu and not much coffee. The highlight would definitely be the delicious croffle! It was warmed up, flaky, and quite chewy. We regret not ordering two! The Outpost Coffee had fantastic service, ambiance, and croffles. Sadly, we didn't like their drinks, but wouldn't mind coming back to try something else!
