Really cute location! I figured because it was a chain it would be the usual but this location had video games, cute photo opportunities and a customized interior for West Covina. There were a ton of seats and tables so we are definitely coming back for our next study/work night. We ordered the strawberry milk tea half sweet and I was so surprised at how good it was. They used strawberry puree and bits because it wasn't just strawberry flavored, there were real strawberries inside and added a little texture to the drink. I will say that even though we did half sweet, the milk tea itself was sweeter than I would have liked so I think next time I'll ask them to keep the strawberry amount the same and lessen the milk tea sweetness. read more

When Ding Tea first opened it was awesome! Even during COVID, the consistency and the customer service was wonderful. While the taste of the tea is still awesome, I would probably avoid this place moving forward. It seems that unless you are a regular, you will get below subpar service served with a side of high school mean girl attitude. It's Mother's Day and my husband asked me how I wanted to end the day. I said "Boba" so we stopped by Ding Tea thinking "it's only the best." When we walked in, I asked the clerk what was available for kids (un caffeinated) and she pointed to the juice and Yakult drinks with a little bit of an attitude. I let it go and proceeded to order and asked for a Milk Tea. Again, I got an attitude "what kind of Milk Tea" and then I asked for cheese foam and was told, again with an attitude "we don't have that today. We are out of milk" Okay Okay - in my opinion there should be a sign on the menu and far less attitude. I would have let it go until I saw how the customers after us were greeted. They must have been regulars because the girl was super nice to them - it was almost nauseating. I enjoyed the Pokemon themed artwork. I also liked the free arcade station. There's also plenty of picturesque sections. However, Ding Tea (West Covina) also felt a little dated, like a hollow & forgotten (but occasionally scrubbed) Chuck E Cheese. Staff is businesslike and quick. My order was completed within two minutes and 40 seconds. Fast! Ding Tea (West Covina) was not like this in the past. I enjoy coming to Ding Tea. The location is clean, the drinks are great, and the staff are so nice. There are plenty of tables to enjoy your drink and hang out. I've seen guests play board games and there is a cool console set up to play video games as well. There is wifi if you need a place to work/study but it can get pretty loud when it's busy so bring headphones or ear plugs. There is limited parking right in front of the location but there is plenty of parking available in the lot. read more

FOOD - You have all of your favorite classics with some new, limited offerings throughout the seasons. They don't necessarily have coffee but the closest thing they had was their Dalgona Coffee Milk Tea. I ordered that with coffee jelly and it hit the spot! A little strong but sweet enough and the jelly was fun. I'd order that again but definitely open to trying all of the other drinks they have too; so many to choose from! Wow this seems like a new location, it is quite clean, and I believe it was one of the better Ding Teas I have been to, to date. They have some promotions during the week and a buy one get one deal, so make sure you take a look at those. Drinks You have the same drinks like other locations, but this time I went for the honey green tea. It is always nice to be able to taste the tea, and with a yelp check in, I was able to also add a free topping. One of the only things that gave our family a bit of a disappointment was that our daughter's drink , the Monster Boba had pudding in it. The shop itself has plenty of seating inside and a couple tables outside as well. The employee that took my order was super welcoming and friendly! Pretty good boba and milk tea. The boba quality is pretty high end and they use good teas. Definitely a top option in the West Covina area. I normally get the monster boba latte (fairly strong) or the signature milk tea (5/5). I also suggest getting the golden boba. Items are well packaged and made. The regular cup is extremely small which is why I knocked a star off. It's like a kiddie cup, and maybe some people prefer the smaller size, it's definitely disappointing. At other locations, it is much cheaper, so not sure if this is a price fix or new increase in their prices. Overall the drink was pretty good, and the boba was nice and chewy. So I wanted to order taro milk tea but I specifically requested the employee if she can do green tea instead of black tea for my taro milk tea drink and she explained that they only used water base and no tea in the taro milk tea. Just you're average boba shop. They have every flavor option in the world and all sorts of toppings. They don't have milk alternatives as all their drink are made with non dairy creamer for the most part but they were able to make my drink with whole milk instead! They have a deal going on right now for free kiwi drinks and for free rainbow jelly and also a check in option on yelp for a free topping. Workers are very helpful and nice and prices are pretty reasonable (not over $7 a drink) but the quality is a good 7/10. read more

Great drinks, great staff, great interior. There's a variety of flavors and they are pretty good for the area. It's not super authentic but I like their juice and yakult drinks a lot. The interior is really cute and there are games that you can play with others. I got the aloe Vera peach juice with star jelly and it was so delicious. i've been to several other ding tea locations and order the same thing, signature milk tea with light coconut jelly, this location's signature milk tea and coconut jelly tastes SO GOOD AND SO MUCH BETTRR THAN ANY OTHER LOCATION. it makes me mad when i'm in LA and craving this drink, it doesn't taste anything like this location. the other location's coconut jelly is so sweet and artificial tasting. this location's is like... fresh and juicy. their signature milk tea is also rich and perfect amount of sweet. other locations it tastes watery and flavorless. props to the employees for making my favorite drink consistently yayy! read more
