We responded to an ad on facebook market place (tip - just call them. we got no response via messenger but all response was great once we contacted them directly) for a previous year / left over inventory (2025) Apex Nano 187RB. We had been interested in this specific model but there were none in our local area so even though it would be a 7 hr drive each way, we decided to reach out. We had been looking for a small, lightweight RV to pull with our PHEV. My spouse had done quite a bit of research so knew what he was looking for. When he found what he thought he wanted at Bobby Combs, he spoke at length with Rod, an amazing salesperson there. Rod was knowledgeable and very helpful, patient with us, and NOT pushy. He understood our need to think about it, and even came in on his day off to finalize the sale! (I like to respect a person's day off, but he insisted on sticking with us to complete the process and answer more questions--like once we had built that trust, he wanted to keep it). Rod and the owner and all of the service team worked fast and hard to get the RV ready for us and Don walked us through each step of how to use the RV (we're newbies). We can't say enough about what a great experience it was to shop here, ask questions here, and finally buy here. Josh in finance dept was laid back and very knowledgeable; again, no pressure! My husband and I went "just to look " at Bobby Combs RV Center. We were prepared to meet with a high pressure salesman and a fast talking Finance Manager, as we have experienced in the past. Wow, were we pleasantly surprised! We first met Josh. He asked what type of RV we were looking for and offered to show us what they had on the lot. Josh was extremely personable, knowledgeable and had all the answers to all our questions. We found exactly what we were looking for and then some. Josh was a pleasure to work with but now it was time to deal with the dreaded Finance Manager. So, my husband dragged me, kicking and screaming into Troy's office. Holding on to my purse with all my might, and fully expecting to have to give up my first born, the process began. Hmmm, this guy is good. I kept waiting for the typical horse trading tactics but this was a totally new experience. He asked a few questions, had us sign paperwork and we were done. Am I dreaming? This can't be true. This is the first time we haven't been held captive with someone trying to squeeze every last penny out of our pockets. Thank you Troy! We were then taken to the Service Dept. to meet Carl. If I could give this place zero stars I would. We bought a Travel Lite Evoke Model C trailer from Bobby's back on July 12, 2019. This is one of those businesses that fit the stereotype of a new/used car salesman. We came to this place to buy the new Evoke trailer. Only dealer in the valley to sell these trendy new trailers. It's now been almost 90 days and we've only had the trailer in our possession due to warranty work that needed to be done. Warranty work that still has yet to be done and no solutions to the issues we have had. We are so beyond disappointed in the customer service from Bobby's. Unless something drastic changes, NO ONE SHOULD DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE. read more
