Before the sale, I discussed removing the bunk beds and making sure the trailer met my needs. The bunks were never removed as requested; I handled that myself. I was told the trailer would be ready for off-grid use, but the inverter was not installed at delivery. The brake controller that was promised was also omitted until I asked about it. I made an extra trip for the inverter install, delaying my move. After waiting, I was told the unit failed. I did receive an upgrade, which I appreciated, but ultimately had to install it myself. The biggest disappointment came after I got it home. Based on our discussions, I was told I was buying a four-season trailer. I relied on representations during the sales process that reasonably led me to expect a true four-season trailer. After taking delivery, I found exposed tanks and plumbing inconsistent with that expectation. I am now facing roughly $2,500 in materials and many hours labor just to make it suitable for the use I explained from the start. I expected better follow-through based on what was discussed. If I had known all of this up front, I would have made a different decision. I want to be clear that the service team did their very best to meet my needs, and I appreciate their efforts. Unfortunately, the overall sales process and the expectations set during the sale failed miserably.

Tech from Peppy could not answer questions about basic pressure. I am sure this company is great at removing and replacing whole systems!

Today, Blake arrived right on time to service our heater. He got right to work. Each time I checked in with him, he provided an update on what he was finding. Fortunately each report was positive and our system checked out perfectly. He changed the filter. I told him about what we thought might be some baby critters (field mice?) might have been in our crawl space based on some chirping/squealing noises. He volunteer to go down in our crawl space to check it out. He very thoroughly checked every foot of the crawl and found nothing. He confirmed that our crawl was in fact air tight & vented via our HVAC system. He was eager to insure that our minds were at ease regarding the performance of our heating system. He even brought to my attention that our water heater system has a very slow drip at a pipe joint so that I could call someone out to check it out. Each technician that's been sent to us has been very conscientious and knowledgeable but Blake gets the highest recommendation of all.

After a 7 year relationship with Drake Mechanical I am discontinuing their Maintenance Program…read moreafter the following occurrence: During my Fall pre paid maintenance visit the technician told me I needed to replace a capacitor ($10 item) in my furnace with a charge of $270+. I questioned the amount and ended up speaking to the office manager who said it was not negotiable despite it was done during my routine maintenance visit, with some nonsense about travel expenses etc. The tech was already at my house! This appears to be a blatant attempt to take advantage of an elderly woman who was smart enough to look up the price of the part. I am cancelling their maintenance program and warn others to question their practices. This greatly saddens me, but the lack of response by this company forces me to stop doing business with them.
