They told me their was a transmission seap and would put dye in when changing fluid to identify if transmission was leaking. I drove car for a week and transmission fluid was all over tire, rim, cv joint, and soaking wet under the car. I took car back the following Thursday. They said they over filled transmission and had to drain it again and refill with the dye added. Within 30 miles of driving transmission fluid was spraying everywhere. I called dealer and they said they would refund money but would not fix the issue they created. In fact the managers exact words were "sometimes it works out and sometimes it doesn't"! So now car is at different dealer and if they caused damage not covered by warrenty I will be retaining a lawyer and suing this dealership! DONT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE BECAUSE IF THEY SCREW IT UP THEY JUST THROW THEIR HANDS UP EVEN THOUGH CAR IS UNDER WARRENTY. THEN TELL YOU SOMETIMES IT WORKS OUT AND SOME TIMES IT DOESN'T!

To my surprise and delight I was told I could bring it in the next morning. Normally I would schedule 3 or 4 days out with other establishments; not here... You want an appointment, BOOM..how about tomorrow?!? . Their responsiveness and availability is great! I pulled in and was greeted, they took my keys, covered my steering wheel and seat with plastic, and then confirmed the services I was receiving. I went to the waiting room, where they have ample seating, a TV, cell phone charging stations, and a coffee bar. Upon completing my service, the service manager came in and reported that everything went as planned, and no other issues were found. I would highly recommend this establishment for your service needs, they are quick and professional.

I was told I couldn't test drive because it had not been detailed yet, and was surrounded by other vehicles. I was assured that I could test drive it before I met the finance guy the next morning. The first red flag was that finance guys had to leave early the next day so if I didn't get it done first thing then in would have to wait another 2 days. The second red flag was they couldn't find the key and told me to start the finance stuff while they searched for the key. The third flag was when the monthly payment was 30$ more than we agreed to. I got up to leave but the GM sorted it out by playing finance magician. I drove the car from the lot and a check engine light came on almost immediately, I turned back into the lot and they pulled the codes and rest it. The codes said the clutch fan was bad and they would take car of it. I came back after it was fixed and drove it home. The check engine light came on the next morning and the Trailblazer (02) sounded like a jet taking off. I drove back to the dealer and they took me outside so I wouldn't make a scene. I was being loud. When they listened to the car they said that was normal and the car is "as is". That was two years ago... since then I have replaced a transmission, complete front end suspension - pretty much twice, plugs and coil packs, wheel bearing hub assembly, neutral safety switch, sway bar links (all of them), u-joint, 4x4 actuator, front end differential housing, countless fuses and wiring harnesses, calipers and rotors oh... and a clutch fan. The car is junk... The dealers are liars. Avoid at all cost. Read the unrecommended reviews as well!!! Update: 1/2015 Car still junk. I hate it and Taylor Chevrolet. This review was not harsh enough.

They found exactly what we wanted in a small suv, down to the color and specific features. John has even been nice enough to pick up our car while we work, change the oil, and return it before the end of the day! Most importantly, my husband and I are confident we received one of the best deals possible with a new car purchase. John made sure that we came in during the best time to buy so that we could take advantage of their promotional 0% interest for 5 years. We also recently used Taylor to service our other car, an '02 Nissan Sentra. Not only did they squeeze us into their already busy schedule, but they didn't even charge us a diagnostic when they couldn't find anything wrong. In the meantime, they filled the tire pressure on the Rogue, free of charge. I'm happy that the small town of Lancaster has a friendly auto dealership and look forward to working with them again in the future.

Conditional Add-On & No Financing Transparency…read more I reached out to this dealership about a vehicle and asked for an out-the-door (OTD) quote. The first number they sent included a $2,000 charge for a Simoniz glass coating--an add-on I never requested or agreed to. I told them directly I did not want the add-on and asked for it to be removed from the quote. Their response? "We'll remove it if you finance with us." This is a classic tied-selling tactic--making the removal of an unwanted add-on contingent on dealer-arranged financing. It's unethical and, under federal and Ohio law, potentially illegal. The FTC's rules clearly state that add-ons must be optional and cannot be used as leverage to push financing. To make matters worse, they never provided a financing worksheet or any written breakdown of loan terms--even after 10 days and multiple requests. I was buying from out of state, which made the lack of transparency even more frustrating. If you're considering buying here, ask for all pricing and financing terms in writing--and be wary of any pressure to finance just to get a fair price. I walked away. You should too if transparency and fairness matter.

(Didn't help they are Philips head and strip out easily.) Well, of course I stripped the bolt and had to drill it out. Not only was I mad that I had to drill out a bolt, I was really mad on where I was going to locate such a small obscure part on a Saturday afternoon when most parts departments at the dealership would surely be closed. Well as I drilled, I had the wife call Autozone to see if there might be an off chance they'd stock such an obscure piece. Well the gentleman she talked to was a straight shooter and backed up what I thought all along, and that was the built was useless, and the factory puts them on for really no reason. After I got that side done, I had to do the other side brakes. Well, I was pretty burnt out by this time, so luckily when I got the caliper off, I saw the rotor was pristine. Yay! 15 minutes later the other side was done. During the melee of doing the problematic driver's side, I lost the receipt. I drove to Autozone, and upon my arrival saw my wife had the credit card the rotor was purchased with. Crap I thought, wasted trip. No receipt and no credit card, they aren't going to return the rotor for me. I thought the worst they could tell me was no, so I walked in to try anyways. Not only did they do the return without the receipt, they credited my credit card I didn't have on me. Plus they were more than happy to do it. A+!
