User beware, they might lose your garmet(s). We lost two items, a pair of pants and a jacket. After three weeks they found the pants. It has been a month and they can't find our jacket. When you call customer service they don't answer and you leave a message. The employee in the store says to call customer service, they personally can't help you. We have just had the worst experience with this business! They lost my husbands suit pants and after over 3 months they gave him a check for only 108.00 and refused to give him his original suit jacket back they kept the suit top and lost his pants. This place seemed nice and is a cool place but not very good quality and expensive at least to me. I went for a suit to be cleaned and was given it back still dirty and yet it wasn't a stain when we gave them the clothing but when we got it back there was a stain. I have them a shirt to fix that had a very very small hole in the arm pit and it was over $14 for them to sew the tiny hole and $8 to dry clean a regular long sleeve shirt and costs like $20 to dry clean a suit. And on top of that it's an expensive shirt and they shoved two different thick Bobby pins through the shirt leaving a holes. And the sad part is even though it took them an entire week to sew the small hole, I git the shirt back with the hole still there just slightly smaller. This place is ridiculous. Most likely won't be coming here again. The only nice part about this place is that if I buy jeans from scheels or any clothes from lululemon, Bobby pages will tailor the clothes to fit you for free. read more

3-year customer is a customer no more! Met them when new in Reno, and have used them even though they are a tad bit higher than other shops, and have forgiven their occasional cleaning misses on shirts. Their staff obviously does not like them, because it has been rare to see the same person more than a month. But last week I took in a work dress for my girlfriend, wanting to be nice and have it cleaned for her. When I looked at my billing statement, it was $38! Stopped by and they told me that was their standard charge for an evening gown, and would not budge off the outrageous price. And, when the pressed the dress? The person who answered sounded so annoyed that she even had to answer the phone, and answer stupid questions. If yelp is suggesting to confirm hours on a holiday, that is what I'm going to do, rather than waste my time coming down there and find out if they're not open. We have used Bobby Pages for several years with great service. However, over the last 6 months something has changed in their procedure of sorting the dry cleaning. We have had numerous items missing which took several weeks to find. We have also received other customers clothing. When these issues were brought to the staffs attention there was very little interest or concern. The final straw was we received 3 items that were not ours. Again, the customer service supervisor/manager showed very little concern even after I told him we are changing cleaners. He didn't even try to save me as a customer and allowed me to leave. Based on the years that we have been using Bobby Pages it appears to me that a change in staff and management is the issue. They issue each customer a laundry bag that is labeled with the customers name. It would seem that it would be very easy to label the items correctly? read more

They lost my $100 dress shirt and had me buy another one that day so I would have it for my event the following day, but the lost shirt was a special order shirt I couldn't just run out and buy. They say they will pay me back for the one I ran out and bought in a hurry, but now I'm out a $100 shirt in place of a cheaper fill-in shirt. I was under the impression the one I went out and bought would just be their temporary way of fixing their mistake. Called a week later and asked if they had found it and they said "the way we do business is if its lost and it shows up, we'll call you" so I guess if I don't hear from them its gone... and thats that.. This dry cleaner is so ridiculously priced and they will not wash your clothes how you ask or even according to the label they will make up excuses for why they chose to dry clean shirts clearly labeled machine wash and charge $7.00 - 8.00 per shirt. Dedicated Customer Very Disappointed! Recently took several shirts in (Vista Blvd.) to be laundered ($3.00+), in the load was a shirt that has been previously laundered with the rest for the same price. When I went in to pick the load up the referenced shirt was listed as ($9.00+). The response upon inquiring was it had linen (10%) and cotton (90%) and because of the linen the shirt had to be processed differently. I advised the shirt had been previously laundered with no up charge. I further inquired if the shirt was going to have that type of cost, I would have thought somebody at the store would have called and to receive authorization. The concern was shrugged off by the attendant, stating the branch manager was was gone. I then attempted to call the "Customer Service" representative at the main headquarters. I was advised she was out of the office and was forwarded to her voicemail. After leaving three messages on separate dates there has been no return calls from the company. "Customer Service Rep" what a joke. Unfortunately, Bobby Pages has lost a long-time customer. read more

Everything was perfect until I found thick red plastic tags that made two little visible holes on each dress shirt. Though not as big of a hole the safety pins still made holes on my dress pants. At the high prices they charge you would think they would come up with a better identification system for keeping your garments pristine and hole-less. What a bummer. read more

DO NOT TAKE CLOTHES HERE, THEY WILL RUIN THEM!!! I had an awful experience start to finish. I took a jumpsuit there to get taken in for my graduation photos. The man who "measured" me hardly did, then I bring it back to the front and the front desk girl was rude, snatched it from me and threw it on a counter. They tell me it'll take 2 weeks. It'a supposed to be done Monday, it's not. I keep calling them as I need it Friday, I just picked it up today (Wednesday). They must've rushed after I started calling them because the zipper will not even zip up and I can see where the fabric is disturbed on the zipper, causing the problem. Even if it would zip up, there is no way it would fit me - it was far too small. So now my $120 jump suit that I never got to wear is ruined, I'm out $70 because that's what I had to pay them, and I have to go buy something else to wear before Friday. Thanks Bobby Pages! Oh, the receptionist on the phone was so rude when I asked her where I should pick it up, she replied with "umm I'd assume the place you dropped it off at?" In a condescending tone, I told her that Bobby Pages told me initially they'd ship it to a location closer to my house - spoiler: they didn't. literally nothing positive about this experience. read more

Had an emergency alteration that I needed to have done for an upcoming wedding. Full suit with jacket and pants. My usual dry cleaner was too busy but Bobby Pages said they'd take care of me. I came in at 9am and I had to be at the weeding by 4. The assistant at the counter (think her name was Ramona) was more than happy to help. They took my suit and I back for measurements and were thorough and gentle. They sent me on my way and I got a call at 1 to tell me that my suit was ready to go. Pants were hemmed, and taken in correctly and my jacket fit great. They even pressed it all without me having having to ask. I was so impressed with the customer service and turn around time that I took some pants and shirts in few weeks later. My clothes were clean and pressed correctly. No burn marks or solvent smell. I hate to say it, but I left my long time dry cleaner for Bobby Pages and I recommend it to any one who needs quality work done. read more

DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT ever use their services. This company has the worst communication skills I've ever experienced and I will never use their services again. They treat customers poorly and don't take responsibility for colossal mistakes. I had nice pants hemmed here with very specific instructions not to cut them so that they could be taken back out after I borrowed them from a friend. Huge mistake. The pants were cut and ruined. They promised to try to reattach the fabric for me after I wore them. When I brought them back I was told the manager would call me the next day to go over the details of fixing them. Noone called. I called and left two voicemails. Three days later I called and was told the fabric was reattached without my instruction. It was done incorrectly. The manager Veronica then told me I was wrong, she was right and that I could speak to another manager to fix the problem. I am now waiting again for another call as I don't want to visit them for the third time in person. I have never been so poorly treated by a manager. I've been coming here for years now and I've always had phenomenal service, but today really moved me to write a review. I have a business trip tomorrow as of the writing of this review. I came by at 6.30 PM - they close at 6. Unfortunately for me, my suit was still inside, but after knocking a few times, someone came out and told me they'd call the owner for me. Less than ten minutes later, the owner came by and took my payment for my clothes - which were done excellently, I might add - and didn't even ask for anything extra for the inconvenience. That right there is solid business ownership. The man running the store knows his business and what he has a hold of. I'm beyond ecstatic that he went out of his way to come and do that for me. I've been using this place for the last 4 years and it's been great. I did have one hiccup with my uniform as I asked for patches to be sewn on and I was assured that they can do it. Well the tailor/production failed by sewing the patches wrong and damaging my shirt. Luckily they provide excellent service and ordered me a new shirt and had it everything sewn on correctly. I still ended up paying the rush service and what not but after using other subpar cleaner who would of just blown me off about buying a new shirt, I didn't fuss over a few dollars because in the long run, this place was much cheaper and the product is excellent. I would highly recommend this place. The ladies always take care of me and most remember who I am. I never had anything lost. read more

Worst service ever. I took my Navy Uniform to have the patches switched out for new patches. They were the exact same rating patches except they were gold instead of read. I picked up my uniform and when I looked at the uniform the patches were crooked and not in the same spot as the old patches. I took them back and brought a directional paper with how to place Navy patches on military uniforms. I came back for a third time and the put my patches almost on my shoulder and the patch for my years of service touching the sleeve. I had to bring one of my older uniforms in so they could use it as an example. It was substandard but as many times they they did it you could see the stitch marks from removing it so many times, they also left the old threads on the uniform where they removed the old patches. To top it off after wasting gas to drive back each time they didn't even offer any type of discount and the tried to charge me for each time they did the work, unbelievable. I use to use this location all the time. Bobby Pages has lost my business for good and anyone who ask me I will turn them away from this location. Recently I visited the Sandhill Drive, Reno location to have a tablecloth shortened. I was introduced to the seamstress, a very pleasant lady. She would be doing the work and said it would be a very simple job. I asked how much it would cost, she said it would take about 15 minutes and the cost would be $10. Later that day a voicemail was left on my phone saying the cost would be $30. I called to say I would collect the cloth, not to do the work. When I returned to pick it up and questioned the change in the amount quoted a member of staff came to the counter and asked "whats the problem". First of all is that the way to speak to a customer? She had a hostile attitude and told me they don't do any work for $10. I found a place to do the alteration at a much lower cost.I will never use Bobby Page again reason being not honoring a price given and the bad customer service. read more

I have very few dresses in my wardrobe that require dry cleaning but the few I do have I trust to Bobby Page Cleaners. The dresses I have are expensive and require special care. I have one dress in particular that has boning in the top that needs to be very careful tended to. I have been coming here for over a year now and I think they do an excellent job caring for my high maintenance dresses. Every girl needs a good dry cleaner! read more

I had some rugs that I would like cleaned. I called the business and asked for a rough estimate of what it would take to clean a rug runner. They quoted me $149. I took the rugs in and when I picked them up, they charged me $260 to clean each of them. A similar rug that measured 6 x 8 only cost $80. I asked them to reverse the charges so I could leave the rugs there and come back to discuss the price with the manager. It was a new system and they did not know how to reverse the prices so they gave me the card for Janet Wells, customer service. I have left three messages on her answering machine over the course of one and a half months. I have not had one callback from them. Customer service is horrible as they give inaccurate information over the phone and then don't know how to run their machines, then don't bother to return calls. At the very least, I could've gotten a call from the customer service to explain the charges. Will not return here as they do not have good customer service. read more

I had my wedding gown and bustle cleaned and preserved here. There aren't really many options for wedding gown preservation in Reno, and I am very pleased with the work Bobby Page's did on my gown. I was expecting it to be ridiculously expensive based off of the previous yelp reviews, but the price I paid was quite reasonable. I found the staff to be polite and professional. No one tried to add on unnecessary services, which was also refreshing. I love the super convenient drive thru! The only drawback of my experience was that I didn't get a call or text when my dress was ready...Other than that, I definitely recommend Bobby Page's! read more

My fiancé dropped off a wedding dress the other day to get pressed and I was more than disappointed. To start, calling them and getting ahold of them is a chore in itself. Three calls and three messages later and she was finally got ahold of them. They were not able to give a quote over the phone because there wasn't enough information. Picking up the dress was where it all fell apart for them. I picked up the dress with a $120 bill for pressing it. For them to not know how much it is going to be and then slap a bill on it that high doesn't seem right to me, a courtesy call would have been nice. She dropped the wedding dress off in a nice bridal bag from the company she purchased it from and the cleaners "forgot" to give it back when they returned the dress. They brought the dress out in a clear plastic bag and ended up seeing the dress. It is a bummer, but not the reason for this review. The main problem with them is they are impossible to get ahold of, spring fees on you, and were not going to give back the nice bag that was dropped off with it. Overall, I am disappointed and will not be using them again. There are numerous dry cleaners in town that will be getting my hard earned dollars in the future. read more

I had to curtain panels (not even full curtains) hemmed and pressed. It was my bad that I didn't ask for a rate - but really small hem job and pressing. I supposedly paid extra to have it done rushed which was not vey rushed. Picked up at the time quaoted was told they weren't ready. Girl disappeared in to the back and comes back with my panels. $63 each to hem. I was floored! I think an establishment should quote rates for specialty work. These panels cost $18 a piece at Target. They did a thorough job, and when I went to pick it up the person who took great pride with the purse showed me everything she did. I was disappointed with the service I had completed. I brought in a $200 dress to be hemmed. The ladies who pinned the dress were very nice and helpful but what I was displeased about was the fact that a hemmed dress cost $90. $30 an hour to hem a dress after it's been pinned should have taken half an hour not 3. If I had known it was going to take them three I would have done it myself. I'm also really irritated that they didn't have the correct stitch. The dress came with a rolled hem stitch and they did something different. Now my heels catch on the hem far more than it did with the original rolled hem. Again, I would have done better but was running out of time. I don't suggest alterations to be done there I have had far better work at other places for far cheaper. The work they did should not have cost almost half of what my dress cost. Ridiculous. read more

Well I didn't come here to get clothing done i Had my large feather comforter done and they did far better then i suspected! A while ago my cat was extremely sick and I let her lay on the comforter, long story short it got disgusting cat bodily fluids all over it. After we took her to the vet and she was all better I brought my Comforter to the normal, and cheaper, placer I had been going to. Well it was 'clean' but there were still A LOT of stains on it. I was disappointed but dealt with it. This time around when my comforter just needed a regular cleaning I brought it to Bobbys and the stains I figured I would just have to deal with they completely removed! I can't explain how happy I was when I saw It, you seriously can't see any of the old discussing Stains. Anyway I would highly recommend them at this point for large feather comforter work. read more

Took a pair of pants in with an ink spot on them and asked if possible to get out. Was told yes, they would/should be able to get out to my surprise and delight. I picked up and paid the 6.75 without looking at them but when I went to wear them, the spot was still there and much worse as it had spread. I took them back to show them and THEN was told that they don't guaranty a spot removal and would have been surprised if it was going to come out in the first place! I feel as if I should have been warned beforehand. So I simply asked them to clean another pair of pants to make up for what I just wasted money on and was told no they would not! Dropped off a white shirt. Picked it up with new stains pressed into it, and the collar pressed into a crease. They would not give me a refund, only offered a 4 day turn around. I needed the shirt for a wedding. They did not care, and said that it was my fault that I did not specify that I did not the collar pressed creased over, which was an obvious mistake. Avoid this place at all costs. $17 to dry clean a suit. The very nice suit also had shiny spots on it from overheating the press. Of course they could not see what I was talking about. I went to get a Class A Army uniform tailored, pressed, and patches sewn on. Upon arrival (which was suppose to be the day before) my coat was not ready. They brought it to me and it had not been pressed and the coat was still wrinkled. They asked me to wait while they pressed my coat which took about 5 minutes. When I inspected the coat i realize that there were still strings hanging from the patches, and looked as if there was glue on my insignia patch. I explained to them that I needed this removed. When I got home, the patch on my left arm was sewn on incorrectly. I explained to them at the store that it looked incorrectly and they reassured me that they have all the documentation and the patch was sewn on correctly. I called them and explained to them that it was done incorrectly and I would have to drive across town (again) to get it fixed. This is ridiculous. I have been going to Bobby Page's for years. It is on the pricey side but I liked that it was close to home and had a drive through. When you have two kids to take in and out of car seats not having to get out of the car is a great convenience. The staff has always been very friendly as well. The reason I've been prompted to write a review now is because I recently got a bag cleaned. It's a fabric Coach tote bag. I used it for work and it had pen marks on it and some dirt from sitting on the floor from time to time. Imagine my shock when I go to pick it up and they charged me almost as much as I paid for the bag. I might as well have gotten a new one! The bag still had some mild stains on the bottom. That really blew it for me. I fee like I was taken advantage of. Maybe they thought they could charge me that much because it was a Coach bag?? In any case, they lost a customer. read more

You if you accidentally leave your cap in a winter coat, they will charge you $6 for dry cleaning the mittens or cap. A complete ripoff and horrible service. This review is about alterations. Instructions were lost necessitating a phone call asking what I wanted done. Measurements were involved and then had to be communicated over the phone. The items were not delivered to a franchise on the date as promised near me. When I picked the up, the computers were down which then involved a hand search through all the dry cleaning orders. My credit card information could not be electronically processed. The alterations had to be re- done. read more
