We have 4 cats and they mostly sleep on the bed so when I say this comforter needed cleaning it was in a bad way! I was expecting to just have it laundered but they said they would dry clean it I just assumed they knew best. It cost around $40. They said it normally takes a week but once I told her it's our main blanket she said she would put a rush on it. It comes back right when she said it would and I was very impressed with how clean and cat hair free it was. read more

Wow, I can't say how impressed I am by these folks and new management at JJ's Cleaners. I lived in Reno for a brief stint of 8 months from 2010-2011 and had to move out of state quickly in 2011. I completely forgot I had left a bunch of clothes at the cleaners. The prior management never called me to say I had clothes left, or pick them up or we're donating them, etc. I figured they were gone forever because I couldn't remember the name of the cleaners. A month ago - 4.5 years later - I received a call from Jonathan at JJ's Cleaners stating they still had my clothes and would like to send them to me. First I was a little nervous about the bill as I had 9 items, plus whatever the cost would be to have them shipped to me. Not only was my dry cleaning bill only $55, they paid for the shipping to be sent all the way from Reno to my new location in Charlotte, NC. I always liked these cleaners because they did a good job and they were convenient, but I've never been more impressed with a company. I wish I could continue giving them my business. If I could give them less than 5 stars I would... first it took them 2 extra weeks for JUST a hem. Then they sent us home with the wrong pants. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER use this business. They are so inferior to any other dry clean/alteration place I've ever used!!! read more

JJ's Cleaners definitely gets the job done, but personnel has changed over the last year, and this dry cleaning business is not at all what it used to be, yielding only two stars total. I originally joined JJ's after seeing one of their sales reps out at a business social networking event. She was so vibrant and full of life and passionate about JJ's, that she convinced me to sign up as a client. In fact, the personal service she offered was so good that when she gave me fliers for her referral program, I speedily distributed them to friends, singing their praises and bringing her business. However, my personal sales rep has changed twice over the last year, and with each change, there has been no communication about the change to make the transition easy. Luckily, last time, a guy named Jonathan who was the second rep was jovial and had a great personality, making the change easier for me. He was easy to reach and showed great concern for good work, especially when stains were left over or something else went wrong. Unfortunately, when he left, there was, AGAIN, no communication. Now, I have no idea who my sales rep is, nor do I have one point of contact for issues I experience. In fact, the younger people who come in to drop off my dry cleaning never say hi or wave, or do anything else to keep the personal service intact. They might as well be working at the pizza shop down the street. The straw that broke the camel's back with this place is my most recent experience with a billing issue. My card on file had expired, so that it wasn't chargeable. I had no idea, yet JJ's new idea of personal communication is a generic email saying something went wrong. Nothing about the fact that they weren't going to deliver my clothes to me until the issue had been corrected. I was left to ponder what had happened to my clothes. Had they lost them? Did they need extra time to work on them? ZERO communication. Adding insult to injury, one of the reasons I had decided on JJ's originally is because I am extremely busy and can't spare extra time out of the office to make a trip to pick up clothes most days, which is why I loved their personal drop off service. Long story short, I had to end up making a special trip to take care of a billing issue that should otherwise have been taken care of by my personal rep, who is as of now unknown. I am leaving two stars because JJ's at this point is like any other dry cleaner. They still clean clothes, but they've lost anything else that makes them special or preferable. Worst dry cleaning place. Brought in a comforter to get a few stains/dirty spots out and got it back worse than it was before. The entire comforter was tinted yellow and the previous stains were now set and not one had looked to get even a little better. It would have been better to do it ourselves in the washer. read more

Excellent, I couldn't find anywhere to clean my draperies that are pinch pleated and they did a beautiful job at a very reasonable price!!! I have taken valances to them and will continue using them even though I live in Peoria!!! Worth the drive!!! read more

The worst cleaning service I've ever had. First they do not do any of the cleaning in the building it is all sent to another warehouse. Making a quick dry clean take two or three days. Second I took a shirt to them for a wedding that I had on a Saturday, they said they would have my shirt back on Friday. After waiting for a phone call all of Friday I started to call them at 4pm Friday evening nobody could tell me about my shirt. Promises of return phone calls and not receiving one until 6:30pm Friday. (They Close at 7 ) The owner or whatever she was told me they had destroyed my shirt and they would pay for another one...keep in mind this shirt was a special shirt for a wedding I was in. Where everyone matched!! So dragging my family out shopping for all new clothes that matched until 10pm Friday night great fun! (Two toddlers and two adults) now its Wednesday and they are telling me that it's going to be weeks before they can reimburse me my money. If I could give zero stars I would. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. read more

WOW! I kinda thought all dry cleaners were the same, boy was I wrong! JJ's Cleaners offers amazing service, free pickup and delivery, and the friendliest staff. They send me a text when they are coming to pickup and another when they schedule a drop off. The driver is super friendly and obviously loves his job. I had a small tear in a shirt and they actually called me to see if I wanted it repaired. Can you imagine a dry cleaner picking up the phone to call you other than to say you owe them money? Time for an update! I've been using JJ's for YEARS and they've gotten even better lately! They installed new software that makes it even more convenient to do my dry cleaning. I set up an account, and now when I drop off my dry cleaning, I get a text when it's ready, and they automatically charge my debit card when I pick it up, so it's as quick as possible! I see they offer pickup and delivery, which is also great. Not necessary for me because I live close and do my shopping at the Smith's in the shopping center, but also a great feature. read more

I recently moved to Sparks and wanted to give the "local guy" a chance since JJ's in Wingfield is closest to my home. I took in a bedspread/comforter with pillow shams. They told me it would be almost $50.00! When I picked myself up off the floor the lady told me I could go to their website and get a 25% off coupon. Then she made me sign a release in case they ruined the bedspread. Being the eternal optimist, I signed it and left. They got it done in less time than they promised which is the ONLY good thing I can say. There was NO 25% off coupon anywhere on their website. When I went to pick it up, the same lady said the best she could do was 10% off. A few days later when I went to make up the bed, we removed the spread from the plastic and found ALL the fiber filling in the spread in 2 huge clumps. It is completely ruined. It would have been nice if they had at least told me they had ruined it instead of just wadding it up and charging me a fortune. This bedspread was out of my guest room, so was almost brand new. Unfortunately I will have to drive further for my dry cleaning. So much for the local guy. read more

Being new to the area I went to Yelp to find a dry cleaners, so I chose JJ Cleaners based on reviews. Staff was very friendly and helpful. So I get my bill and was very surprised on how expensive it cost for my coats and got charged extra for branded coats.The clerk said they were under new management and had a price change, I told her that I have never paid that much for my coats for dry cleaning and they were double from I was used to paying, this change will cost them my bussiness. We have been long time customers and will never use them again! We have been charged for items that have not been cleaned. We were told they could clean and preserve a baby's baptism dress. Instead they charged us $14 to clean the baby's dress and said they didn't know what we meant about preservation process! Asked the manager to call and they never called. read more

I hate giving 1 star but these guys deserve it unfortunately. I've given them a few chances and every time there seems to be something wrong with my order. First they shrunk my favorite zip up. I tried JJ's in Wingfield months back and was sorely disappointed. I recently heard that they were under new management and so I tried again. I am beyond thrilled with the service! They now offer home pick up and drop off for FREE!!! I also noticed that one of my husbands shirts had a broken button, and it was delivered to our home fixed!!! I used Bobby Pages in the interim, which was fine, just further from my house. I cannot tell you how much the home pick up and delivery is saving my life! Here's the deal, any cleaning company can wash your clothes. Where companies differentiate themselves is through customer service, and no one's is better than JJ's. They respond quickly to queries, send reminders, and give just enough personal contact to be efficient but not so much that you wish they'd leave you the heck alone.
