When the young lady finally arrived, her demeanor was extremely casual and unprofessional--almost as if she were at home rather than at work. About seven minutes later, the server returned with the muffins, but they were cold tasted straight out of the cooler. I flagged her down and explained the issue, asking for a replacement and how long it would take since I wanted them before my meal. Her response was dismissive: "What do you mean how long? I don't know." A better answer would have been something like, "I'll check and get them to you as soon as possible." Instead, she said, "It'll probably be a minute." When I expressed frustration, she added, "It will take some time." Ten minutes later, she returned with bad news--they were out of chicken. At that point, I simply said oaky and left. This is not my first time experiencing poor service at this location, and I blame myself for returning. The constant turnover of managers and staff seems to be the root cause of these ongoing issues. The rib tips and smoked chicken had a good smoked flavor but not much season beyond that. But the house BBQ sauce was so good to dip the meats into, I like that the sauce is served on the side. Personally, I prefer well seasoned smoke meats. This was not that but the meat and sauce together was a delicious combo. Even my toddler son who likes to eat but is particular with meats ate it up and asked for more. My guest also enjoyed the meal too.
