I just left what use to be a good go to spot for breakfast on my way to work. Today is my last day for a while. I decided to not make breakfast this morning and just pick one up. I thought about the juicy chicken biscuit all the way across town. As I pulled away from the window I took the sandwich out the bag. When I bit into the biscuit I told myself I must have bitten into a thin side and didn't think anything of it. By my third bite I was glad I had an opportunity to take a good look at the biscuit. The seasoned batter has not changed and it still taste good HOWEVER the chicken was paper thin. I mean 1/3 (more like 1/4) the thickness THIN. It started to pull and rip when I picked it up off the biscuit THIN. I had never been so glad my father wasn't home for me to take him a biscuit. He would have looked at me crazy. If I would have had time, I would have turned around and took this waste of money and bad start to my morning back. If they were running low on chicken then say you ran out. If chicken is so expensive that you must do this --- take it off your menu or increase your prices again and see if anyone still purchases it BUT WHAT I RECEIVED THIS MORNING WAS NOT ACCEPTABLE. Turner's does not have to worry about me coming back for a very long time. I pray this was a mistake. I hope your visit and experience is better than mine. I gave 2 stars and not 1 , only because my previous experiences were not bad. read more

Excellent, no frills, Georgia BBQ! Food was served in a timely manner after ordering. Most bbq restaurants in Georgia are influenced by several types of bbq; i.e.: Texas, Carolina, St. Louis, etc. but there IS a true Georgia BBQ flavor which is distinct from other varieties. There are a few BBQ joints that are no longer in business that were highly favored that Turner's reminds me of. Brought back a lot of core memories. The staff was friendly and the tea was sweet! The BBQ here is excellent. You walk in and order. That process can be chaotic if you've not been here before. The people want you to move through quickly, but they will help you order. The sides here need some serious work though. None of them stand out, but you're not coming here for the sides. read more

Sort of a little bit of a truck stop feel, because it's tucked inside an industrial area. There's lots of outdoor picnic style seating and a bit indoor seating, as well. I would definitely recommend taking this for the road, but if you need to sit there, there's definitely options. Turner serves great BBQ, although the inside may seem a little disorganized. They're pretty efficient when they get poppin' at lunch time. Their pulled pork doesn't even need sauce - I used to eat it straight out of the styrofoam cup. The prices are fair and their meats are very delicious. Their fries are also shockingly great. They're fresh cut! Beyond the bbq, Turner serves a great BEC biscuit! It's buttery and stuffed full of bacon. They have a whole simple "American Diner" style breakfast menu, but I've never ordered anything but the biscuit in the morning. The pork is very good just not enough sauce. This is my second time going and I ask for extra sauce and they still didn't put it on there. I just ate here today at one the best tasting barbecue restaurants in Atlanta metro area! I'm a trucker and there is plenty of parking and the staff are special people! Ordered the rib plate with fries and cole-slaw and it was awful. Don't waste your money or your time. The ribs had no grilled flavor and were bland, salty and tough. The fries were too salty. I took a bite and figured it would get better but it didn't. I left the plate at the table and left the restaurant seeking another lunch spot before my next appointment. So disappointing! read more

Me and my boyfriend love to eat at Turners BQ, they have the best pulled pork sandwiches and also the bruswick stew is so delicious and I also love their slaw, I am very picky about my BQ , slaw and B. stew and this is the only BQ place that I want to eat at, I just hate it that they are closed when I get off of work, I get off at 05:00 PM and the time I get there it would be close to 06:00 so I really wished they would stay open later. read more

Listen, this places falls short of a authentic BBQ spot in my opinion.... when it comes to what they offer. So the location and the decor of the place, yea they got it down packed. But unmmmm there are noooo greens not even the lettuce. I ordered a pork salad and asked what is in it. I was told lettuce, tomatoes, onions and pork. I ask is there cheese the girl said yes they can add that. So I said ok let's add that. I paid $10 for my pork salad and a medium sweet tea. Like I said pork was really good and the tea tasted good as well but ummmmmmmmmmmmmmm the salad??!!!! How you gonna charge 7 and some change for this non green, no chlorophyll, iceberg lettuce of a salad??!! Howwww???!! I need answers. I expected romaine lettuce, maybe some baby spinach even??
