We verified that the oil levels were fine, so we had our mechanic look at it and he determined that we needed a new oil pump. We contacted the owner of Underhill motors and he insisted that he have his mechanic look at it, which is understandable. All there mechanic did was do an engine flush and change the oil! I went to the dealership to express my concerns and all the owner did was throw his hands in the air and literally push me out. Reading other reviews, this seems like a trend. A week later, we had the same issue. This time we went back and forth to the dealership and his mechanic three times. He was unwilling to fix the vehicle even though he said there was a warranty. Over the past several weeks we still have the ticking in the motor. Now we have replaced the thermostat, brake lines, and rear HVAC control module. Now my mechanic tells me we have a head problem and we are going to need a new engine. Now he ignores my calls. I don't have the money to fix this lemon, and this is my only car. We had two vehicles that were serviced by Holland. At first our vehicles were treated well- but…read moreafter about 8 months, we started needing more expensive services... and that's when things went bad. In both cases (two different types of vehicles, both of which had been maintained regularly before our previous mechanic retired), the repairs to the damages caused by Holland has run us over $10k. Our truck broke down 8 hours after leaving Holland, stranding me and two young children, a dog and the trailer we were hauling, in Roanoke VA (literally left Holland and got on the road). We are now having to replace all the parts that Holland put in, because they used faulty and bad parts. I pulled our records from this company a year ago, and it's taken me this long to write a review, as thinking about how they jacked us around has made me mad.
