When I spoke with Justin about the car, he told me that it had a solenoid issue, which was supposed to be a $200 fix. However, after clearing all the codes off the car, they made sure it looked fine when my mechanic went to check it, and there were no warning signs. The moment I tried to drive the car home, it almost stalled in the middle of traffic, putting my life at risk. After taking it to a mechanic nearby, I learned the car actually needs a new transmission, which is a minimum $4,000 job. I paid $4,200 for a car that's now worth nothing more than scrap! I've found dozens of these exact cars being sold for $500-$800, as that's all it's worth with a bad transmission. My wife is pregnant, and we used our savings to buy what we thought was a reliable family car. Instead, we were sold a total lemon. When I spoke to Justin, he showed no remorse and wasn't even willing to make it right. It's clear that they did just enough work to get the car through a test drive and sold it without any care for the buyer's safety. After talking to other mechanics around Clarksville, I now know how crooked this business really is.
