My husband was looking into buying a truck. He normally does it craigslist style but we were having…read morea hard time finding anything good. We saw a truck that they had online that we really liked so we came by and met with Tod and he was super helpful! We ended up purchasing that truck for a great price and we're so happy with the service that we had a friend buy his new car there and went to get my new car from them as well. Do keep in mind when you shop with them they're cars do not stay on the lot for long! If you like it I definitely recommend getting it that day because it will mostly likely be gone by tomorrow. Wonderful staff and a great selection of cars, we will definitely be recommending them to anybody who is car shop. P.S. They do offer tax exception for active duty military members (I'm not sure if that's a state thing or if only certain dealerships offer it)

I recently attempted to purchase a truck from out of state through C.R. at University Motors in…read moreNashville, TN. After confirming the price--including TTL and a $699 dealer doc fee--I provided my state's DMV contact information to help facilitate the out-of-state process. I was told C.R. needed to check with their title office, and that I'd receive answers ASAP early in the week. Instead, I received vague updates and was left waiting with no follow-up. It wasn't until Thursday morning, when I reached out myself, that I was finally informed the truck had been sold to a relative of the owner. Up until that point, I had no idea the deal had even fallen through. CR mentioned they don't take deposits and operate in good faith as a small-town dealership that values transparent deals. I accepted that at face value, trusted we were working toward a sale, and let them know I was fully approved by my lender and ready to move forward the moment title confirmation came through. I understand that "business is business," but the lack of communication, transparency, and basic professionalism made this a very disappointing experience. I cannot recommend doing business with a dealership that doesn't back up its word or respect a customer's time and trust.

Clearly that was not the case. I brought it to their attention and was then pressured to take another vehicle until the repairs could be made. Reluctantly I took the care. I had the car for 2 days. The day the swap for the originally reserved vehicle was to be made someone backed into the car while parked in the parking garage at work. I had the insurance through Flexcar as required. I was told the cost would be $910 minus the $500 deductible, so I would get $410 back. The tech assured me he was taking care of everything and there was nothing else for me to do despite me asking repeatedly. 5 days letter I got an email saying my contract is being canceled and they're going to charge me $2750 for the damages because the insurance was now void. Customer service claims that each incident is reviewed individually but clearly that is not the case. When I asked why the original $910 was not taken from my account like it was supposed to be on that day I was told there was a "glitch in the system". I asked if that glitch last for 5 days and was told yes. I said if each case was individually reviewed there's no way they could say I was the one who was negligent. I have filled a BBB compliant because this is a scam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am new to the state and had been referred to this location by a coworker and since having this…read morevehicle which is a Diesel it's been towed back to the lot twice for what seems to be the same issue. The first return it had been there for two weeks and had stated to have repaired the issue (starter). We are now at the second trip, and this is only after a month of having the truck back, so far currently has been there since Tuesday and it is now Saturday and i'm just now being told that no one there does mechanics for a Diesel vehicle?! At this point I have been told by the salesperson Mike "We do sell vehicles As-Is, so I suggest finding a mechanic that works on Diesel trucks", (This was not told to me at the time of purchase). In the meantime, living an hour away and being my only means of transportation I will now have no way to work losing income. I just believe this is what they do and then claim repossession when payments are unable to be made behind mechanical issues that become costly behind what seems to be "uncertified mechanics" they have working on vehicles, then all while still expecting continued payments to be made when it's clearly impossible. During both times I've called on a daily basis and visited the shop many times to inquire about receiving at least a loaner vehicle to maintain employment and getting my children to school but given the run around and told there was never a vehicle available to utilize until the truck was at least ready to pick up. I've explained that I clearly didn't know anyone who repaired Diesel trucks nor could any information of one be reciprocated. At this point I believe they are just ripping people off.... GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! They need to be reported!

While driving my car for the first few weeks my check engine light came on, my friend told me I bet it is your o2 sensor and it was. My friend who also goes to them said a lot of their cars have that issue. The only way I could get any work done on my car is when I would allow the repair men in the back to flirt with me. 2 months straight I could not get in touch with charlotte auto sales in regards to my payment and finally when I reached them by phone they yelled "Are you making a payment or not!" In less than a year of having my 09 Altima the power steering pump needed replacing and the alternator the belt and the O2 sensor. Once all these things went wrong at once it became difficult to pay the bill and also the repairs so auto master repo my car and when I came to retrieve my license plate. Reading the reviews here goes to show what this business is about, lies and not responding. I had a…read moresituation with Thomas outside the dealership, my wife and I had made an appointment to see a car with him the following day, we left work early and drove an hour and a half to see the car, we get there and don't see the car, text him and he says he is doing errands and was to far away to meet. He said I will drive the car to you to see tomorrow. Great! The next day comes, my wife and I leave work early the next day to meet him, guess what, texts last minute saying he had a family emergency. Fine. Asked when can we see the car then?? Nothing, completely ghosted. Have all conservations saved to post if needed as well. Sounds like just a bad place to do business. I know my deal want through the business but just goes to show and confirm the type and quality of business they are running.

The body of the car had dents and blemishes…read morethat were obscured by the ad, and they didn't say anything about it when I told them I was driving from Indiana to buy the car. The car was not cleaned inside, and they said they had let a friend drive it to Murfreesboro and said he drove it over 120mph. Fine, whatever, I drove to Tennessee to get the car, and I needed it to drive to Arizona so I didn't bother fighting with them over this small stuff. However, I get to Arizona and two weeks later they still haven't mailed the title. I call them and we finally get the title in the mail, and it is scheduled to arrive 2 days before my temporary 30 day dealer plate expires. That day comes, and the title gets returned because they never included my apartment number on the address. After telling Sean at Music City Rides the problem, he complains about the situation (that he caused) and then says he doesn't want to overnight the title because it would cost him $70, and apparently doesn't care that my car's plate is expiring. I end up having to go to the MVD and get a temporary registration while I get the title sorted out. I finally do get the title, and take it back to the MVD to register it. They ask for the bill of sale, which I provide. Now the name of the dealership on the bill of sale doesn't match the Title. It turns out it is two different names for the same company, but the Arizona MVD doesn't care. I have to get a "One and the Same" form filled out and notarized by the dealership saying they are the same. I contact Sean again, he basically tells me (Edit: he told me I shouldn't have shown them the bill of sale, and then nothing for two days. Then he said nothing again when I contacted him again two days later. He responded within minutes of posting this review, however and had always responded within hours previously). He has since sent an updated bill of sale which I guess I'll have to go spend another two hours at the MVD just to find out if they will accept it or not. This is certainly not what the MVD asked me to provide, and not what I asked him to provide me.
