I knew I wanted him to fix the cap shingles on the peak and he quoted his rate for that work over the phone before he came. He pointed out some areas of the roof to monitor but did not make a hard sell--he said if I wasn't seeing any leaks he didn't want to possibly make things worse. He came back when he promised, did the work quickly and cleaned everything up before he left. It took him a bit longer to do the repairs than he expected, but he didn't charge me any extra. He spoke to my mom whose English is her second language. He got her to agree to get the driveway seal-coated for 1000 and the walkway washed for another 1000. He promised that the walkway would be sprayed with special powders to prevent the weeds from returning for at least a couple of years. My mom agreed to the work and wrote a check as he stated that he needed to deposit the check before starting the work because he needed money for materials. He completed the job, did a poor job on the driveway and left. It is now about a month later and our walkway is getting overrun with weeds, see attached pictures. We tried to contact the company regarding this issue and were completely ignored. I am an attorney and had I been here when Johnathan showed up I would have not agreed to these services. The way I see the situation is that Johnathan took advantage of an elderly woman whose English is poor and ripped her off for 2000 dollars doing a very poor job. It is very shameful and hopefully other people will see this review and think twice before hiring this company.
