I got three quotes and Manny's was about where I expected it to be. One was more and one was similar. I decided on Manny's because he seemed sincere and, surprisingly, he lived about 1/2 a mile from me. We had one day with sunshine recently and had a snow storm coming the next day so when he called and said he could do it that day I was thrilled. At 800am (as advised) two trucks showed up and I had 8 people on my roof scraping away the old. In at 800am, out by 500pm. They scraped, replaced the skylights, and re-roofed, then cleaned up. Outstanding work. All of the workers were great. I had questions during the work and someone was always available to answer them. None of them seemed to rush, it was get it done, and get it done right. We've had two snowstorms and a lot of rain and not one drop in the house. I can finally start sleeping better! I knew I wanted him to fix the cap shingles on the peak and he quoted his rate for that work over the phone before he came. He pointed out some areas of the roof to monitor but did not make a hard sell--he said if I wasn't seeing any leaks he didn't want to possibly make things worse. I had the gutters replaced four years ago and what a difference with Wright. He went over the whole project with me and did a complete redesign of the gutters that looks amazing, are more functional and more study and attached to the house securely. Scott explained everything from the begging to the end and made the house look so much nicer. The quality of the work and the looks are so much better than the last company that did the gutters. I had my reservations about siding an old Victorian with vinyl, but after painting it 4 times under…read moremy ownership I took a leap of faith and hired Budget Exteriors to install new vinyl siding on an old house. I can say hands down, Lou and his company Budget Exteriors was by far the best siding contractor that I have ever used. He was meticulous in making sure he knew what I wanted, and that the installation was done correctly and followed through making sure that he actually achieved the look I wanted to maintain. He made an old Victorian look new again and kept many of the original details and replicated the freeze boards that make that era house unique. For the vinyl materials we used a realistic looking clapboard siding with a 3/4" deep profile and virtually no lap joints. We used a product that was true and tested and which is a leader in the vinyl industry; Certainteed Monogram XL .46 mil thickness with 20' lengths, with detailed corner posts and matching PVC trim, the finished product looks amazing as you can barely tell that its not wood from the street. He wrapped the original window frames with a colored textured aluminum coil material with 5 bends and color matched the sealants, they look very much like the original frames, color and all. It's truly amazing to see how many compliments we received from our neighbors and from people just passing by. His crews worked long days and were nothing but professional and respectful, and they cleaned up after themselves every day. I never had a single problem during the installation but good to know that if I did, Lou would be there to make it right. At this time it looks like money well spent, as it looks terrific and very happy with the installation and the process. I can only hope it stays that way and it holds up to the test of time. Lou and Budget Exteriors warranty's the workmanship for 7 years, and Certainteed Monogram has a lifetime warranty, will be sure to update you if I ever need to call him back, and more importantly where we go from there and how he responds.

I have been calling for OVER A MONTH trying to get someone to come out and address the issue. Last week, I was specifically told that I was on the schedule and that someone would be coming out today. I rearranged my day expecting them, and once again--NO ONE SHOWED UP and no one contacted me. Communication with this company has been terrible from the beginning. Even getting the original roof completed was a nightmare--it took approximately 8 MONTHS before the work was finally done. A leaking roof after only a year is already frustrating enough, but having to repeatedly chase a company down just to get a response makes it even worse. This is my daughter's bedroom that is being affected. At the very least, I expect someone to communicate with me and stand behind the work that was done.
